It’s simple. Follow the money.

Nanny.Gov doesn’t care if you’re an Oxy spin-out; a hillbilly Balushi. Opiates are a pharmaceutical goldmine and a lucrative tax source for Uncle Klepto.

There are other, non-addictive, non-intoxicating “synthetic” opiates that are very effective pain relievers.

Oxycontin cannot be prescribed in Mexico. The government banned it.

No problem at all getting Temgesic, a synthetic opioid developed to wean heroine addicts off of methadone.

It’s broken bone level pain relief with no high and no addiction.

Opioid abuse is a symptom of the bigger problem of a completely fucked up society, country, legal system, financial system, school system, prison system, economic system, political system, families, etc., etc.

But its so much easier to go after an inanimate object than it is to go after the useless sacks of meat that are actively working to promote the downfall and the destruction (or even our own contributions to the problems).

Here are a couple of TED talks worth watching. Not saying I’m endorsing everything they are saying. Just saying that the talks will get you to think differently about addiction and escape from reality.

And as with every one of my comments, I still go back to freedom and liberty being the foundation for solving even these horrible problems – NOT GOVERNMENT.

Years ago my EMT neighbor said many auto accidents he saw had people buzzed on legal prescription medicine. My experience is that people who drink are the ones who don’t show up or aren’t worth a shit the next day at work.

Hard to believe someone could present that much information about opioids and not mention Afghanistan or China.

Before we invaded Afghanistan the Taliban had eradicated poppy production and since our occupation it has increased to record levels. Hmmmm.

And ever since the 2008 election China has been balls to the walls with drugs to the US consumer, predominantly the fentanyl.

Oh well, can’t research everything.

Also no mention of the CIA and their delivery and distribution of all the above from the middle east.

Hey, MrLiberty:

I still go back to freedom and liberty being the foundation for solving even these horrible problems – NOT GOVERNMENT.

No offense, but that is a bonehead stance. How in the heck is .gov going to tax/mandate/grift when people have that kind of philosophy?

🙂

Seriously, the sign says the average person misses 10.5 days of work a year. Is that really accurate? If I missed that many days, I wouldn’t have a job.

Trust me on this, some employers provide “sick” hours per pay period or for the calendar year. There are employees who will take them sick or not. Then when they get for real sick, they screwed themselves.

That’s the average. Obviously lots of total slackers to balance out the folks that never miss a day.

Why would any marginally sane person do that to themselves. That’s so abasing.

War on drugs – supported by “data” from OSHA – another government agency that severely overreaches and over-regulates.

Opioid crisis my butt – this isas non-sensical as gun control – only those who need the drug will NOT GET IT!

How about we really look at root causes? Possibly, Open Borders where Fentynal flows through? WAKE UP!
