In Move To Ban Charter Schools, Bernie Sanders Introduces ‘No Child Left Ahead Act’

Via The Babylon Bee

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Bernie Sanders has come out against charter schools. He is not a fan of the inequality and quality education they create. Sanders continued his attack on the schools this week, saying he would ban for-profit charter schools if elected president.

But in the meantime, the senator from Vermont has introduced official legislation to back his position: the No Child Left Ahead Act, a bill that would ban students from actually receiving a decent education in the public school system.

“No child deserves to get left ahead with a really good education,” Sanders said, wagging his finger as though it were a foam finger at a sporting event. “We will not stand for students getting a good education in this country. We can look to some socialist countries like the Soviets and the Venezuelans for an example: total equality. Everyone gets a bad education.”

“I will not rest until all students are receiving equally mediocre instruction in the public school system,” he added, his finger seeming to take on a life of its own as it flopped and waggled around the room like a deli sausage in the wind.

“Also we should eat zoo animals.”

Charter schools, while possibly better than traditional government monopoly schools, are still being funded through the violence and theft of taxation, and still being controlled/regulated by the central command structure of government. They perpetuate the immorality of theft and violence and therefore will never be an appropriate solution to the problem of our failed “education” system.

ONLY by getting government 100% OUT of the marketplace can educational freedom and quality ever be restored. Charter schools, vouchers, and every other option that includes a string back to the government theft-based funding mechanism, ultimately leave the politicians, NOT THE PARENTS, in charge of what their children are being taught, and everything else related to the process.

A fully competitive, free market in education, that includes home schools, online schools, private schools, neighborhood (subdivision) schools, co-ops, charity schools, and an extensive array of scholarship options and other charitable handouts, can easily provide parents and children with an array of options that will not only meet their needs, but put THEM back in control versus the politicians. Unless you cut the strings, the government will ultimately hang you with them.

I am so amazed that so many worthless career politicians are elected (or selected) to the highest offices. Due to lack of any experience working in the wealth-creating private sectors (MANUFACTURING, MINING, AGRICULTURE), they can only open their bad mouth or shuffle paper.

There should be a law that over 80% Congresswomen or men should have an engineering degree and from wealth-creating sectors. If more than 20% are elected locally from the parasite sectors (military, pharmaceuticals, medicals, higher non-education, laws etc.), there should be a procedure to disqualify some and to keep the quote under 20%.
