Well, young man, if I were you, I’d get an education at a trade school that has a curriculum covering robotics design, engineering, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Technology is such that it’s currently still too expensive to just dispose of bots needing repair or refurbishment.
There’s job security there, if you make the grade & qualify.

Drive up the cost of labor and something must give. The automated fast food restaurant is already in trial locations. I had a relative who was a big wheel with Del Monte. He told us 40 years ago they had machines that would pick tomatoes very efficiently but they were forbidden, supposedly by government pressure from implementing them.
