The war on drugs is actually a sort of cover for a variation on the opium wars The Brits ran over much of Asia with. The significant difference being the Brits ran it over foreigners they substantially subdued, while our corrupt government runs it over its own citizens for the same purpose.
The War on Drugs, like the War on Terror, is very profitable. Those ‘wars’ create and maintain a very healthy police state.
