An eyewitness nurse revealed how a hospital in Illinois has a “comfort room” in which aborted babies who survive for hours outside the womb are left to die.
Jill Stanek told a hearing on the Born Alive Act in Washington, D.C. that doctors at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn perform “live birth abortions” where the baby is allowed to die during or after the abortion procedure.
The hospital provides “comfort care” for the babies for hours after the procedure by wrapping the infant in a blanket and keeping it warm until it dies. Parents of the baby are also allowed to hold it during this time.
“If staff did not have the time or desire to hold the baby, she was taken to Christ Hospital’s Comfort Room, which was complete with a First Photo machine if parents wanted professional pictures of their aborted baby, baptismal supplies, gowns and certificates, foot printing equipment and baby bracelets for mementos, and a rocking chair,” Stanek said.
She also revealed how once she witnessed a nurse deliver a live baby but then fail to clamp the severed umbilical cord, causing the baby to begin bleeding. The infant was then placed in a bag and thrown in the trash.
Stanek also related how she held a 22 week old down syndrome baby for the last 45 minutes of his life because his parents did not want to hold him.
“Toward the end, he was so quiet I could not tell if he was still alive,” Stanek said. “I held him up to the light to see through his chest wall whether his heart was still beating. After he was pronounced dead, I folded his little arms across his chest, wrapped him in a tiny shroud and carried him to the hospital morgue where all of our dead patients are taken.”
Stanek subsequently quit her job at the hospital.

This is beyond heartbreaking. A baby survives an abortion and is left to die ‘comfortably?’ WTF? There are premature babies that are given every opportunity to live, incubators and such and here we have babies in the same state as those preemies and they’re left to die?

As hard as it sometimes is for us humans to imagine, is there a sin that Christ did not die for in this dispensation? No. Christ died for sin itself as Paul reveals.
Such people too can be saved should they choose to seek salvation; though I’d hazard a guess that the chances are slim (conscious seared with hot irons and all…) and they will reap what they have sown. Eternally… where their worm dieth not.

This is actually a very old story here in Illinois. I recall Obama was somehow involved with this church and hospital. It is at least as old as when he ran for Senate if not older. The Prog filth in Illinois treat Stanek like an Old Testament leper. If one does a little searching at places like World Net Daily and the Chicago papers 10-15 years back you will find a lot of sickening stuff about this story.

The movie was a campy early anti-abortion film when the pill and abortion were just coming into public acceptance, oh holier than thou. It was the conclusion of the film, spelled out boldly so that even the most dull of college professors could understand that the pill is bad.

No mention of why the fetus was dying, but the topic of the article was creating a ‘comfort room’ for aborted babies. EC: Frustrating, isn’t it? I’m old enough to remember the back alley abortions, the women dying from botched abortions and the stigma that attached to women who got pregnant out of marriage. I’m also old enough to know that forcing a woman to give birth under certain circumstances is beyond cruel. Rape, incest, forced impregnation. I also know that not every child is a wanted child. I met women in a former career, sat in on interviews where they explained that they couldn’t afford a baby, much less paying for birthing a baby. Different time.
Having said that, I do believe there’s a window, the first trimester window, where the embryo is not viable outside the womb. Should an abortion happen in that time frame, I don’t condone but I also don’t condemn. After that, I most certainly condemn anyone who gets an abortion because after the first trimester the embryo becomes a fetus. A recognizable little baby, a human baby. If the fetus suffers hideous birth defects then abortion may be viable, but, did you read the part about the woman holding the aborted downs baby? How did that make you feel? The parent or parents got rid of a baby that could have had a decent life because they weren’t up to raising said child.
I don’t have the answers to many questions, what I do know is that the democrats who push for late term abortions are evil, the people like Cuomo who light up skyscrapers when late term abortion laws are ratified are evil, and the people who profit from selling butchered baby parts are in a whole nother category of unspeakably evil.
Definitely not in favor of abortion. 60 million aborted babies got us to where we are today. I was merely commending the person who still had enough compassion for a human to not throw them in a trash can while they are still alive.
Perhaps that is why I posted the movie trailer, because dammit, maybe the aborted babies would like some payback.

Putting aside the circumstances of the abortion, the effort to keep the fetus in comfort is what I commend. It’s crazy that the ‘parents’ stay and watch or that they take pics and mementos but that sounds more like the actions of involuntary abortions, people who chose to abort a baby that would have birth defects. Again, I don’t know the circumstances. I have said before that I am in favor of more white babies, I guess people don’t read my shit.

It was decent and kind back when I was in the force some 50 years ago. Lutheran owned and operated, we were all a bit flustered about how to answer the phone when it changed from “Christ Community Hospital” to “Christ Hospital”. (On a late shift, we’re all about economy of words when answering the phone. “Christ Community” tripped off the tongue pretty easily…”Christ” not so much.)

In indiana they have anonymous baby boxes where unwanted babies can be dropped off at hospitals like a goodwill drop box. Drop the baby in. Within 90 seconds hospital personel care for the child. All to prevent abortion. 59 babies in 30 days. I wept when i read about it.
There is a type of fetish where women get off on getting abortions. Not even joking. The women have had multiple abortions and try to get pregnant. These sickos plan to get pregnant, carry the baby for a number of weeks, then deliberately abort the baby like some kind of scheduled business lunch. The sickness of many in this world is unforgivable.
