Bob Siddell- I don’t know about most of the country but private school vouchers went to the blacks in the south and drove the whites out of the schools. Let’s just say all of a sudden blacks had the money for pricey private schools that they never seemed to have before and in great numbers.
All the publicly funded Vouchers in Florida are only for Blacks to escape the public schools with a failing grade with the state (99.99% the result of forced integration and liberal education methods). All Whites should have access to publicly funded Vouchers, after all we pay half our property taxes to support public education (and then have “double jeopardy” to pay for our own kids private schools). PS: Most private schools oppose and refuse Public Vouchers because to accept them would invariable allow the politicians to start dictating communist rules to them. Public schools need to return to segregating students according to academic ability, enforcing behavior standards, require learning and meaningful tests.

I was listening to NPR this morning (so you don’t have to). They had a story about how synthetically produced DNA can be created via a CRISPR-like sequencing machine and ordered over the Internet. You can order specific genes and the private companies that sell them have to decide whether your order poses a risk to society. The company they were interviewing had denied an order for genetic sequences that could be assembled into horsepox – a close relative to smallpox. They’re also coming out with “desktop” DNA sequencing machines that are smaller and cheaper. This technology poses risks, but the risks grow geometrically when you consider the rise of artificial intelligence and quantum computing. The machines could assemble that viruses to kill us off. Our best hope may be that they don’t even consider us worth the effort. Meanwhile stupid children think the biggest danger is warmer weather? Oh honey, you got a lot more to worry about.
Besides nuclear war, the next worse thing that could happen to us is either a big asteroid hit or a big EMP. NASA just had one medium-size rock fly by us much closer than it should have. And there have been mysterious power outages off and on worldwide recently.

Having had a few experiences with a large number autistic children at a voluntary event , my first observation is this child is a high achievers type capable of learning much but not able to control a response in a normal healthy venue .
