We haven’t had free markets in the USA for a very long time, not in the 20th-century post-Wilson and arguably post Lincoln. Leave people alone and they will prosper and even those who don’t succeed will have more choices and lower prices thanks to the folks who do. Remember the government creates nothing and only serves to impose market friction (costs). There are only two methods to allocate resources and services: Price in a market or by Government Rationing…..take your pick….I will go with Markets for $1,000 Chuck!
