Do these popular essays tend to increase numbers for you? Or do the numbers wax and wane?
Looks like we will finish with 8.7 million page views in 2019, down from 9.4 million in 2018. First year without visitor growth for TBP. I just haven’t written as many articles as in past years. It’s the big articles that get picked up by other sites that drives the visitor counts. I’m not driven to generate higher visitor counts like I used to be. It is what it is.

I wasn’t actively commenting on those articles so I can’t take credit. There are two themes there: Trump and 4th turning, which is pretty much in line with the apocalyptic mood of folks now. I surmised that 2020’s winner would be a Reagan-like figure to Trump’s Carter. Unless there is no more morning in America.

Thanks for posting these. It was fun to go back and re-read the discussions. Lively group of folks here. In reflection, 2019 for me will be the year of the blackpill – when most conservatives finally figured out there is no representation for them in DC and never will be with the two current parties in power. I think many sort of kind of knew in the back of their minds, but refused to listen to that voice until this year.
