There are two gays I have watched grow up, one a nephew in my wife’s rugged West Texas family who was effeminate from boyhood on who lives with a longtime boyfriend. The only gay person in the entire family.

I love them both.
They both have been accepted by their families, but there was bumpy times over the years.
They both have tender hearts.
Neither one is radical politically, actually both seem apolitical.
