North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) & the US’ Northern Command (NORTHCOM) held a Facebook Live town hall meeting on Tuesday, March 24, informing the public how their essential teams in charge of homeland security are isolating at the Cheyenne Mountain bunker in Colorado amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Air Force General Terrence O’Shaughnessy, who commands NORAD and NORTHCOM, told reporters on Facebook Live last Tuesday that essential staff is being moved from Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado to the underground bunker complex that is 24 miles away in Cheyenne Mountain. The facility is more than 2,000 feet underground and can survive a 30 megaton nuclear explosion.
“To ensure that we can defend the homeland despite this pandemic, our command and control watch teams here in the headquarters split into multiple shifts and portions of our watch team began working from Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station, creating a third team at an alternate location as well,” O’Shaughnessy said.
“Our dedicated professionals of the NORAD and NORTHCOM command and control watch have left their homes, said goodbye to their families and are isolated from everyone to ensure that they can stand the watch each and every day to defend our homeland.
“It’s certainly not optimal, but it’s absolutely necessary and appropriate given the situation.”
NORAD and NORTHCOM have already used up about 30% of the underground facility, according to The Drive. O’Shaughnessy said with the increased personnel, his “primary concern was … are we going to have the space inside the mountain for everybody who wants to move in there, and I’m not at liberty to discuss who’s moving in there.”
If the staff at Cheyenne are infected, there is a third team of higher-ranking military officials operating at another facility that can remotely assume command.
With the virus crisis deepening in the US, confirmed cases have now surged over 124,000, with 2,191 deaths (as of Sunday morning). President Trump signed an executive order Friday, allowing the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security to activate National Guard and reservists to battle the COVID-19 outbreak across the US.
We noted last week that the US is in the “acceleration phase” of the outbreak, which means the health crisis could get much worse in the coming weeks.
How much worse?
Well, the Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies has just warned that social unrest in major Western cities could develop in the coming weeks.
The evolution of the virus crisis could be social destabilization, hence why the military is preparing.

Two weeks ago Cuomo was yelling nobody was going to shut his state or his city down. According to the CDC, NY is now the epicenter of the virus with over 55% of known cases.
Now Cuomo is claiming to everyone that will listen and CNN, Trump didn’t do enough to stop the spread.
Dr Fauci claims there could be up to 200,000 dead!!! Media and dems are now screaming blood will be on the hands of President Donald Trump.
So Trump says he could impose stricter quarantines on New York. Cuomo screams he’ll sue, Dr Fauci says, hold on, let’s not get carried away.

It appears to me that it got out before intended, if released by the ChiComs. If released by a Western govt. (which could include Israel, seeing as how quickly they wanted to help us), then yeah…they’d better bunker up and we’d all better prepare.
Been saying for a long time now that war with China is on the menu for this Fourth Turning. That would by extension include their proxies. However, and just a running theory I have, but it also seems like there could be oscillations in internal v. external for the Fourth Turnings. So if we do go to war with China, it seems to me we are doubly due for a revolution.

Because “destroying” the economy (truly just a scraping off of the Fed-created asset inflation and transfer to the 0.01%), as the first step, is way more important to their plans. And by the way, THAT is exactly how the annual flu gets handled.
Can it be sealed from the OUTSIDE as well….so they can NEVER get back out? A thick layer of lead or serious “Faraday Cage” over the mountain and all communications would cease…right? Not an expect, just spitballing.
I had a friend who used to live in visual site of the Naval Depot in San Diego. He used to have friends who would ask if he was concerned being so close to such a likely nuclear strike target. He always said that he was happy that he would likely just see the flash and it would be over. Better that than suffering the likely next steps.

Not to be nit picky, but my statement continued with a very clear additional factor to consider when pondering life after “whatever.” If I thought that survival would entail freedom from these pieces of garbage, that would be one thing. Life WITH them around, especially since their goal would be of course enslavement and re-establishment of a power structure with THEM at the top, would be an entirely different thing to consider.

The Mountain complex was built primarily to enable the command structure to survive nuclear attack, though it would likely also serve as safe haven for bio-warfare. About 15 years ago the decision was made for cost reasons to vacate into town at Peterson as the perceived nuclear threat had diminished.
As far as the boys getting locked in, doubtful. All kinds of James Bond features exist to keep everyone safe from direct attack. And, you can bet they have plenty of test kits available.
