How the Left and Their Continued Lockdown Policies Killed George Floyd

For over a week now, we’ve been subject to continuous protests that quickly, and predictably, devolve into violence, riots, and looting. These are based on the questionable notion that George Floyd was killed by the cop kneeling on his neck after being arrested while resisting arrest. The medical examiner performed an autopsy and came to the conclusion that George Floyd died of a heart attack. The report listed hypertensive heart disease and coronary artery disease as underlying conditions, and apparently he had tested positive for Covid-19 back in early April, but was presented no symptoms.

Apparently he is the only person in the country who tested positive for Covid to not be listed as a Covid death, but that’s another subject for another day. It also noted that he showed signs of recent methamphetamine usage, as well as fentanyl. Fentanyl is many times more potent than heroin, and too much of it can lead to respitory distress and heart failure. It also stated that ‘traumatic asphyxiation’, or strangulation, was NOT the cause of death. Which means he was not killed by the officer’s knee on his neck.

So, how did the left and their lockdowns contribute to this man’s death?  Humor me here……As Zerohedge recently noted, Chicago has recorded double their previous year’s number of overdose deaths, many of which were from fentanyl usage. These lockdowns are, predictably, causing more and more people to turn to drugs out of both boredom and despair over not being able to earn money and go about their lives as before. These deaths, along with various other types, will in the end vastly outnumber those who were or would have been killed by this virus.

George Floyd may well have been one of those deaths. According to various news reports, he was employed as a security guard at a popular night club. This night club, along with many others, has been shut down for the last several months, under orders from their democrat governor, putting everyone who was employed there out of work. Since we are to assume this was a good man who wouldn’t under normal circumstances be using meth and synthetic heroin, especially with his serious underlying health conditions, this means he was driven to this point by his lack of employment and despair caused by it. These lockdowns are killing Americans, literally, every day. Perhaps including Mr. Floyd.

Another point – since he was presumably unemployed, and since we are told he was a good person and not a criminal (we are to ignore his long rap sheet, apparently, the media insists its irrelevant), we must therefore assume that, had he been allowed by his democrat governor to find gainful employment, he would never have been forced to attempt to use a fake 20$ bill to buy food, which was why the police were called in the first place.

So, you have a man not being allowed to work because of these unnecessary and draconian lockdowns, which has driven him to use two of the most dangerous narcotics in existence, as well as attempt to use easy to detect fake money to buy food due to his desperation. Due to his intoxicated state as well as anger and desperation, he then resists arrest, struggling with police, and this likely leads to a heart attack caused by stress, his underlying medical issues, as well as having used both fentanyl and methamphetamine. Would he have died of a heart attack absent being pinned to the ground by this officer’s knee? Would he have died of a heart attack if he hadn’t chosen to ingest these drugs? Would he have used these dangerous drugs had he been allowed to work and live his life as normal? We will likely never know any of these answers, but as we watch our cities burn, they are worth considering and pointing out.
