The older Interceptor issued to the military came with a snap-on flap of kevlar that acted as a groin protector. I never attached it and used it as an extra front layer with a plate.
During one deployment I found the Marines were discarding leftover vests taken off their casualties. The vests were left in a pile along with plates. I scrounged a coyote colored MOLLE vest, two sets of kevlar inserts, and plates. Brought the whole mess home and no one said a word because the vests were written off as expendable items. With delt protectors and two layers of kevlar with plates a nice set is Level 4+, and you can’t beat it when it’s free.

Hey AK, The POD people are everywhere. I can tell who watches MSM. They are all masked and gloved up. The poor children, small children in masks. That just breaks my heart. But I walked through Harlem yesterday and shopped. I had no fear. In fact, the only people who make me incredibly uncomfortable are the “normies.” I’m not generally a mask wearer, so I can see their shoulders rise and their masks pulsate from all the heavy breathing when I pass them.
There are staged events in almost every neighborhood Where the hell were all these sickos hiding for the past decade? I mean, what has been done to their brains that they can follow orders so well but can’t hold down a real job? They shoot off fireworks every night…at almost the same time. I’m sure it’s putting the “normies” aka POD*” people in a state of panic. My hi-rise actually boarded up the entire ground floor during the last “protest.” It was like painting a sign on the building that reads “please attack our pussy asses!”
I am not shocked by the increase in crime reports. I’m not Carnac, but I sure as hell could have told you months ago (and did in fact) that was going to happen, along with the increase in homelessness and panhandling. It’s all baked in the demolition cake.
It is eerie. Most of my anxiety happens when I walk through my apt. lobby mask-less. Anticipating an encounter with one of the PODS . So far, it’s been ok. It must be the look I have that reads, ‘fuck with me and I’ll fuck you up.”
NYC is now like it was in the ’70’s, only sped up and on steroids and without the platform shoes and good music.
