I usually paid around $160 for 1,000 9mm NATO and $200 per 1,000 for 7.62×39(M43) and $300 ~for M193. I am seeing double and triple that right now. .357 mag is going for $50 a box. I have seen M2 Ball in spam cans (.30-’06) going for $1.50 to $2 a round.

Just tuned up my grandfather’s 08GA. Already have a ton of brass casings for it, along with slug and buckshot for reloading. Kicks like a f’n mule but I’ve never seen anything run too far after being hit with it.

I think Remington makes some kind of commercial 8 gauge slug shells today. They are used to break up buildups on cement kilns and crazy stuff like that. 45 years ago some friends told me about how three of them would hold this industrial shotgun and fire it to break up the cement when they cleaned the silos and kilns at the local cement plant.

I can only speak for myself but I have no airplane so I don’t give a hoot about SAMs. However the local NG does have SAMs right down the street. They are a AAA unit so not only do “we” have them, I even know young fellas trained to use them.
FWIW, SAMs are also within the capabilities of the underground workshop types, have been made and used to take down Brit helos by the IRA. Designed by US sympathizers in Boston.
