The premise is based on the “accuracy” of the tests, and the “accuracy” of the diagnosis of those currently in the hospital. Hospital admissions always go up in the colder months as seasonal flu, pneumonia, holiday-related injuries, etc. rise. That they are all being classified as Covid is the complete bullshit of it all. Take a look at the world meter. Are you seriously telling me that we have 4 times the new Covid cases as INDIA, a nation with 1.3 BILLION people?? And several times the number of dead as well? Come on. Let’s try remembering who has been lying to us all since this began…..THE SAME PEOPLE that are lying to us now!!!
The new cases in CA are mainly among the non-whites. The Mexicans, I shit you not, have had two or three parties a week in my neighborhood alone. It was worse for Thanksgiving – their entire extended families showed up.
I expect Christmas will be the same, and New Years Eve even worse.
It’s worse here now than it was in late spring/early summer, at least twice as bad now. Those triage tents in the hospital parking lots are being used at capacity where I am – this hasn’t happened before.
One of our neighbors has been in the ICU for the past two months – Covid patient.

Cousin in AZ says the Indians are getting hit very hard, likely as a result of mostly non-existent health care on the reservations. Don’t know if that is the reason for higher hospitalizations in AZ; anyone have good insight?
