What we are seeing are three important aspects of our “society:”
1. A desperate need for attention on the part of way too many people. Andy Warhol should have kept his fucking mouth shut. Nobody needs even 15 seconds of fame, but these folks know that folks will be posting this shit on the “People of Walmart” site, they have zero followers on Tik-tok (or whatever its called), Instasham, etc. so here they are.
2. Mental illness is WAY WORSE than anyone could have imagined. 25 million people voting for Biden (well, it MIGHT have been that many, you never know) should already be enough of an indicator of that, but most of those folks hide it well, while these folks clearly don’t.
3. Alzheimer’s and other dementias are far more rampant in our society than we appreciate. Yes, we have a man pretending to be president who is clearly suffering from one or more of the dementias, but Walmart must have a special kind of attraction for those that have not been wisely prevented from leaving the house by their loved ones. (And before you give me any shit about how serious Alz, etc. is, my mother and mother in law both passed away from it and I absolutely know how horrible it is).
4. Immoral and amoral people; towit; unvirtuous.
Interesting observations, but I really do think the numbers are probably reversed and 74 million for Biden and 80+ million for He Who Must Not Be Named as elected.
My father died of Alzheimers’ and the family allowed him to make important decisions that were tragic for he and my mother. They acted like they thought he was some sort of god and because his world had shrank to the view from his corner (of the farmhouse), he was no longer able to see the big picture.
Sort of like having a senile president coming out of the basement to sign a few documents a couple times a day, unable to do more than read the cue cards and teleprompter.
Did you misread my number? I said 25 million for Biden (and was generous). I have generally rounded to 80,000,000 for Trump, but my point was about Biden’s numbers possibly being THAT LOW.

I wrote an article here about NPD in our society and on TBP (a fond tease to EC longagoandfaraway). It could probably do with an update and I will link it but I gotta tell ya… that always reminds me of having all my thousands of photos stolen by photobucket, who let me upload them for free and now wants $9.99 per month for me to use them.
I had some really good photos there too.
People are more narcissistic than ever, which is why it was so easy to get people to agree to go into isolation to protect themselves against the viral world. It is a topic worth revisiting and I may tackle a rewrite and this time, I will not be using photobucket!
