Great man but in some ways Rush was controlled opposition. I always got the impression he was quietly a white nationalist -at least he seemed to understand that the real issue that motivates the Left is not their opposition to freedom, but their envy and hatred of white people and our great civilization. He would occasionally tread into this torrent but then quickly retreat to the banks for safety. Perhaps because he had a black show manager, he could not be as honest as was necessary. I had hoped that in the end he would go full nationalist, but he chose a different stream.
In the era of Trump I would like to see a true nationalist/populist/traditionalist emerge as the leader of the anti-Left. We could look to Poland and Hungary for examples.
Is that the torch of liberty? What bullshit. Look at who Limbaugh supported: Bush Sr, Dole, Baby Bush, McCain, Romney, and Trump. Look at who he rabidly opposed: Ron Paul. His passing has nothing what-so-ever to do with the fight for liberty. We’re no closer nor further away from regaining our rights.

I certainly did NOT besmirch his name. I pointed out facts, which you have yet to contest. I highlighting the FACT that he supported candidates who hated liberty (“The constitution is just a Goddamn piece of paper”) and actively opposed those that cherished liberty like Ron Paul.
And I didn’t write anything about him because I didn’t give a shit about what type of statism he was pushing at the moment.

There’s nothing to contest for what you say is true. His views on Ron Paul really irritated me. As did some other things. Nevertheless, I would say that I agreed with 90% of what he said. Should I hate the guy for the 10% I don’t like? It’s a tough call … if that 10% is the most important thing.
I’m not cheerleading. When Rush first started out I listened to him every time he was on … for years.
OTOH, I have not tuned in for at least the past TEN years … not once. Same with Hannity. Not that I hate them … I just grew tired of their same ol same ol schtick.
