I can still remember the taste of A&W root beer served in a frosty mug 🍺. It tasted mighty good on a hot August day.

I remember the jingle. A&W root beer has that frosty mug taste.
Usually, someone who says maff doesn’t know the correct conjugation of “to be” and they will say:
Maff BE hard.
Most of them just cut the verb out entirely, “Maff HARD, yo”.
Everybody knows 4 is bigger than 3.
Do you want 4 French fries or 3? Duh!
Half the country never understood fractions.
I’ve never even seen an A&W in the continental US, I was surprised when I just looked it up and saw that there are a couple within an hour’s drive, but I’d pass half a dozen McDonald’s on the way there.
The one time I stopped at an A&W in Canada was because they advertised an all day breakfast. When I ordered bacon and eggs they said no because after 10AM they only offered “breakfast sandwiches”, so I left and went to a local diner instead.
We never had AC when I was a kid. When we went to an A & W drive-in it was only when it was so hot that we were about to melt. We sat in the station wagon (again, no AC) and they hooked trays to the windows. The ice cold glass mugs of root beer were so good you’d even forget your annoying brothers.
Sounds just like my visits, but it was annoying sisters. The back of the wagon was my spot.
