My son plays hockey north of Canada (Detroit/Windsor area). Plenty of stories to tell. I’ll only bore you with one. A couple years back his team was down 0-6 early in the 2nd. They were frustrated, so their penalty box was pretty full. I was running scoreboards and my son, typically a defenseman, was part of the 3 on a 3 on 5. He won the faceoff skated around the five and put one in. That opened the floodgates and his team won 7-6. One of the parents commented it was Hockey Night in Canada material.
No ice. I have been to one hockey game and had no idea what was going on, except when the gloves went into the air and the fists started swinging.
