The answer is to opt out – homeschooling is easy these days with proper info on the net and setting your own curriculum puts your kids on the right path. I learned more from my philosopher/ engineer grandfather up to the age of 6 than I learned for the rest of my schooling up to aged 11.
He had a full set of Encyclopedia Britannica and I still remember my lessons from him. I could read and write at 4 years old, knew my 12 x table and could wire up 12 volt DC circuits with switches, resistors, capacitors and light bulbs. Great post. I rarely comment on what your write because I am so frequently in complete agreement that I feel as if I have just read one of my own thoughts, but you should know just how spot-on your advice sounds to some of us.
I was very lucky to have spent huge chunks of my early childhood in the care and under the guidance of two sets of loving and attentive grandparents and a great- grandparent who showered me with the right kind of instruction, and modeling. I am eternally grateful for their selfless sacrifice of time and attention when I needed it most.

Peter, a full set of Brittanica or world book encyclopedias written prior to 1935 contained a dozen PHD’s. Just the beauty of the written English of those days made it poetry to my young mind. Too bad I was 15 and a ward of the Juvenile court when I found them.
I’d take encyclopedias from school home to over the weekend. My witch of a 3rd grade teacher finally noticed one rainy Friday, literally accusing me of being a thief on my way out the door. She didn’t like me. That was 1973.
The Witch told my father I’d end up in jail and never graduate, neither of which happened. I graduated, bright but no scholar, and was president of my senior class. Interestingly enough, The Witch had a younger daughter who was valedictorian and custom states the valedictorian will give the first speech to the graduating class. That wasn’t to be, and thinking back, maybe someone planned it that way.
I spoke before her daughter and The Witch was dumbstruck. My father sat near The Witch, highly amused and vindicated. It’s a story he never told, and something learned from a Friend of a friend.

Your comment hasn’t appeared Stucky but I read it on the email. Good to know we are on the same page. Yes it does take one parent being at home but in my day that was the norm. Nowadays not so much and yet technology was slated to save us time for more leisure – sure hasn’t worked out that way.
AP, I have two point for your consideration. (1) Stupid people got to learn the hard way. Most white people are effectively too stupid to even grasp the enemy’s warfare. (2) You are playing to white people’s emotion. That is a foundation of sand. That is not where you want to build a political house. People who are so persuaded are eventually persuaded by YKW.
