At the end of the day this article could be summed up by saying, “since you’ve already allowed the government and big business to get away with terrible things, you should not have any reason to resist this latest and greatest trespass.” That is a logical argument. That said, throughout history this has happened many times. Good men have to be able to say “this far and no farther”, and they have to mean it.
Unfortunately meaning it means risking more than your own life. You risk the lives and livelihood of all of those you care about. That is wife and daughter, and son and mother, father, cousin, friend and neighbor. If you own a business, you have numerous employees, vendors and clients that you risk as well along side of the great investment of your time and resources into building said enterprise. In short you risk everything you care about, so you naturally don’t step up to pay that price until everything you care about is already at risk.
That is why people with something to lose are slow to act, often so slow that they don’t act until the things they worry they will lose are already lost. That is why the old saying, “when a man has nothing left to lose, he loses it” is profound wisdom. The evil behind all the machinations will never be satisfied. They are incapable of being satisfied until everything is either entirely under their control or destroyed completely. The day is here where you are faced with the choice of resisting this evil while you still can, or capitulating completely into your new role as owned property.
I am not a brave man. I swim in the current of fear and the uncertainty of when and how to resist this evil. I have a lot to lose as I am tremendously blessed on all fronts. I am certain; however, that as things continue along this path that I, and many others like me, will have to make that choice, come what may. And even in the highly unlikely event that we survive to see our brethren win the day, we will likely still lose all that we care about, including our souls.
I don’t see a peaceful end to this, although I pray for one. I hope that the entire crumbling edifice will collapse under its own weight before I am find myself facing down the seemingly overwhelming force of darkness in front of us. But that may be a vain hope as the chaos of collapse is likely every bit as dark and dangerous a path as outright rebellion. Still it is darkest before the dawn, and it could be that the gloaming light of tyranny is in fact the first blush of a new dawn of liberty. I pray it is so, and hope my path is leading out of darkness instead of into it. Best of luck to you all.

Centralization vs de-centralization.

The Rev. James Altman calls himself “a lowly priest” serving a blue-collar city in western Wisconsin. But when his bishop demanded his resignation — after a series of divisive remarks about politics and the pandemic — Altman refused to oblige.
In two weeks since then, he has since raised more than $640,000 from his conservative supporters to defend himself.
Altman is pastor of St. James the Less, a Roman Catholic Church in La Crosse. He first came into prominence before the 2020 election with a fiery video on YouTube, saying Catholics who voted for Democrats risked going to hell.
He has reiterated that sentiment recently, while also criticizing vaccination efforts and restrictions on church gatherings related to COVID-19.

I could not have summed up exactly how I feel better than this writer. The time is coming were we will all have to make a choice and probably lose everything to stand up to evil. I wish I were braver. I have worked so hard, for what little I have and it seems so unfair to have to lose it all, to stand up to the evil in this country. A evil that should be obvious to everyone.
Now you know how the founding fathers felt. Several had great wealth and lost family members as well as earthly goods. Many were left with nothing.
