I’m still impressed with the creativity of the cartoonists and how they can take all of the 800 Lb. gorillas in the room (senility, foreign policy, etc. etc.) and come up with something clever. The difficulty must be increasing.
However, on the political/media side the covering up, or not covering, disaster after disaster while looking for a new red herring to cover up the last debacle must be equally challenging; though I have no pity for evil, only those deceived into it.
I was in Archer City Texas a few years ago to stop by the Royal Theater. Coming in to town about 1/2 mile out a roadrunner runs right across the street in front of me. As I’m standing in front of the Royal after taking some pics, one of the local comes by in his pickup with the bed loaded (40-50) with dead coyotes. Have no idea where he was headed, but he didn’t have an ACME logo on the truck.
The Vietnam vet may know how the Afghanistan war vet feels, but obviously the Afghanistan vet learned absolutely NOTHING from Vietnam or the massive truths that were 3xposed during the 25 years between the sham conflicts…..and still volunteered.
Everyone that went after 9-11 volunteered, because the country was attacked. Big difference to VN even tho the results were the same.
One day I will look at these and not see any neocon propaganda interspersed, because they will have been defeated.
