I would never used Franz Fanon for a quote. This man, author of the book “The Wretched of the Earth” was a political terrorist who, helped the enemy during the Algerian war. He criticized colonialism while accepting all “colonialism” had to offer: Free education, medical school and Psychiatry school. He was an A-hole who spitted his venom on capitalism (closely associated to colonialism) but went to died in Bethesda no less because he was dying of leukemia. Crackpot.

Was there something wrong about the quote, though? Even monstrous morons can say something wise or true once in a while.

I really like the quote from Henri Bergson. It sounds familiar to the journey I have been on for a few years now.

I was forced to read that a-hole in college and knowing how he actually betrayed the people that fed him was nauseating. The quote in itself is meaningful but I would like to see the entire paragraphe it was taken from to put it back in context.

Calling BS! Don’t tell me that Samuel Adams was referencing Marxism/C0mmunism Moar than 100 years before the Bolsheviks established the USSR. Known Communitarianism is as old as recorded history. Whatever the name ascribed, the central tenet is the same.
