5 minutes from where I lived when I was in Pittsburgh. It looks out in the country, but was a major road way from east Pittsburgh to the suburbs. The drop is deeper than appears in the photo; thankful there were no fatalities.
yeah, i know that bridge well. was one of the main connectors between the oakland/squirrel hill/ eastern parts of the city to parts beyond.. and a nice path to take for the scenery as well, as you said, looks like youre out in the country, for a quarter mile or so going through the park. penn avenue is going to be a huge charlie foxtrot now!
The fastest way to have fixed such bridges would have been to designate them part of Israel.
The funds would have been voted through unanimously.
Conversation overheard in Jen Psaki’s office yesterday:
Psaki: Let’s do something big for Uncle Joe’s visit to Pittsburgh tomorrow to talk infrastructure.
Some Lackey: Well, we could take down a bridge overnight. But people might get killed or injured.
Psaki: Let’s do it. Call the CIA, see if they have any of those chemicals left from the World Trade Center.
“Build back better” is not about repairing infrastructure at all.- its about building “equity”.
All of the bridge pillars thrive on equity. They carry as much weight as they are entitled to. See how well that works? Equality only sounds similar, but the “al” makes it entirely different.
And this just in: “A pickup truck carring 33 crates of Chinese fruit bats en route to who knows where fell off the bridge as it collapsed, accidentally releasing the bats, but not to worry, all 32 have since been located and humanely euthanized.”

Too much of a coincidence for me. If they do pass the bill they won’t spend it on bridges and roads anyway. They been saying that for years…never happens. It’ll go into someone’s deep pockets.

I remember that well gats. I worked in the transportation field for years. The transportation bills they pass is usually for 6 to 7 YEARS of spending in the amount of 600 to 700 billion. They spend that much on the MIC EVERY YEAR. The bridges in this country were mostly built in the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. Same for all the other infrastructure. The country is going to rapidly deteriorate very soon, plan on and for it.
just for reference, it’s very close to where the synagogue thing took place a few years back.

No such thing as coincidence, especially not in this case. This was by design.
