Was watching a PBS show on the war on drugs with my wife back in the mid 80s. On it were a couple of folks from the Libertarian party talking about the failure of prohibition, the immorality of controlling other people’s bodies, etc. I had been a big cannabis user in college, and so had no issues with drugs, but had never realized that there were political folks who believed in freedom (because obviously neither of the two major parties did). That got us both looking into the Libertarian Party, me playing a leadership role in the party at the county level in two different states, me running for the California State Senate in 94, and discovering through extensive reading (our county chair owned a used book store), the ideas of Rothbard, Mises, Bovard, and countless others. Overall the process took a bit of time to fully coalesce into my current belief in anarcho-capitalism and the futility of political/governmental solutions, but that is probably what really got it started.
Now my mother was a huge Ayn Rand reader, subscribed to the Objectivist newsletter, and likely rubbed off on me as I was growing up. But she was also a huge believer in every vaccination going, voted for republicans even after the Libertarian party came into existence, and truly didn’t believe in her actions what she claimed to believe in her words.
Bravo libertarians – I salute you. My book is based on Austrian economics which is why my handle is Austrian Peter (I’m not Austrian – thank God). I believe in sound money (preferably PMs), small government (the smaller the better) and free markets (let the market set the price)

It started for me when I fully realized that John Kennedy was murdered in a government coup. That happened in the mid-1980s. They had just opened up the 6th-floor museum. I happened to be among the 1st visitors. As I stood near the supposed sniper’s nest and looked down at Dealey Plaza it hit me like a thunderbolt that the much easier shot would have been as the limo came down Houston and made the sharp left turn on Elm. Oliver Stone had the same thought (and many many others, I’d guess) and put it in his movie years later. I had done much reading on the subject and suspected the Warren Report was a whitewash but when I first had that observation it sealed the deal for me. If the bastards could murder the president in plain sight and get away with it scot-free then all the “We the people..” stuff they taught me was bullshit. I haven’t cast a ballot in a national election since.

For me, it was a gradual process starting with the JFK assassination and the coverup of the investigation. Even as a young teenager, I knew there was no real reason to hide the Warren Report for 50+ years, unless they were trying to protect someone or some organization.
Viet Nam was the next moment where I realized the government was not fighting a war to win, but there were a lot of people making a lot of money and a lot of politicians gaining a lot of power from this never-ending police action.
I saw what the government did to poor families with the “War on Poverty” and LBJ’s Not So “Great Society”, jumping right in to the “War on Drugs”, criminalizing activities that were personal and did not hurt anyone. The government was always reaching and taking more and more control of our lives and were not living up to the words and intentions of the Declaration and Constitution.
I still shake my head in disbelief when I see some of the proposals they come up with and eventually turn into programs, all the while spending enormous amounts of money that we do not have and knowing from experience where it leads.

I realized in 2009 that certain prescription drugs touted as lifesaving could instead spell lifetime health disaster. Research on the effects of statins and psychotropic drugs enlightened me to the lies being told and promoted by Big Pharma. I phoned the FDA-twice to voice concerns about statin side effects and was told by two different FDA people that my complaints were the first they had ever heard. During that year I had read about the NYC AZT experiments on orphaned and low income children of color. I began questioning the humanitarian efforts of Bill Gates. I was unable to sleep one night and began more research into drug side effects. I needed a break @ 2 am and stumbled on 9/11 articles from globalresearch.ca. I believed what I read and never turned back to my “old way of thinking.”
Must have been around 2008, when I first came across “Loose change”. Watched it, scratched chin, and then put it away because I couldn’t believe it.
Revisited around 2010, after some time of it fermenting in my mind.
Spent a couple of years, covering many rabbit holes from 9/11 to JFK assassination to the moon landing. Then, when Sandy Hook happened less than 100 miles from home, it was apparent to me within a few days that it was all fake. Same with Boston Marathon, yawn, obvious from day one or two.

1978 read the book The Late Great Planet Earth – who knew the Book of Revelation could not only be understood but it was beginning to happen right before my eyes………been watching and studying for over 40 years now – Jesus I have known all my life – so wonderful He is loving and forgiving because though I knew Him all my life I didn’t really follow Him so there was a lot of cleanup in aisle 5, 8, 17, 22……etc……Believe in Him for Eternal life………….He is faithful to keep you through all of this crazy now and strengthen with the hope of a wonderful future………….

We had a very limited access to news/information when I was young. It was, and still is, a very isolated place high in the mountains. It started in the late 60s & early 70s, when I couldn’t reconcile what I had read (I read alot, on just about every conceivable subject) and studied with what I was seeing around me and through the limited tv news, papers and magazines. It caused a great turmoil and dissonance that was quite traumatic for a young person in my situation. Seriously thought I might be insane for awhile. The people around me didn’t help any.
My real first eye-opener was after I joined the service right after Nam and rubbed elbows with many Nam vets.What they revealed was a whole lot different from what I had been told. The corruption and elite bullshit in the upper ranks was a real illumination. And I saw what the real outside world was like outside of my early cocooned existence. No, I wasn’t crazy, it really was heading toward what I had thought.
The real pivotal moment was the financial fall-out in the early 80s, after I had returned home. I had already been warned by some pretty smart people to be wary and recognize what was bringing it on, and where it was heading.
It’s been a gradual process, high-lighted by brighter flashes of realization here and there. So far it’s been exactly what I believed way back in the late 60s. Nothing has changed except my better understanding of the methods, and a clearer vision of where it’s going.
For me is was the second Iraq war under Bush the lessor.
At the time I wasn’t sure, but every media source and 90% of the politicians were saying we had to do it. I figured all the smart & informed people were in agreement so it must be the right thing to do.
As the facts started coming out in the following years, my trust in institutions disappeared and I find myself questioning everything.
So many things. My dad shot down 5 Zeros; my Father-in-Law was at the Front at the Battle of the Bulge; both like chewing my “chicken-shit ass”. My mother’s only brother was a USAF MSgt. My college roommate was a NCO who served in combat in the Dominican Republic. My cousin served two tours as a Marine in Vietnam. My Navy brother volunteered for infantry in Vietnam, and then became the North Florida Coordinator for Vietnam Vets Against the War, and the FBI broke into his house, stole his materials and planted pot, etc. I was Drafted and saw MIC stupidity, tyranny and anti-White racist discrimination. As a 1st Lt in 1972, a huge UFO with two search lights etc went about 80 ft right over my head at about 40 mph one night and caused my very rural house lights to blink out. I’ve since seen a Cigar and a Disc UFO within 100 ft. When I left the military in 1983 , I was repeatedly flagrantly discriminated against because I was a White male; and became angry when I saw my two kids being discriminated against. The Clinton Chronicles, Waco, the Panama Invasion, Ruby Ridge, Murrah Bldg, Twin Towers & Bldg 7, McVeigh Trial, the rancher murdered with his hand up out west. I knew John Troutman of MOM, talked to Donn de Grand Pre of Barbarians Inside The Gates, Ted Pike of Israel Our Duty Our Dilemma, David Duke and his daughter; worked with Libertarians, John Birchers, League of the South; met some polite Nazis but the KKK sucks. Every Biblical scholar knows this is true, and pretty much every graduate of a seminary knows this is true. So, the mountains of lies told over the ages, and perpetrated upon the hoi polloi just to support a perceived doctrine simply blew me away. Liars everywhere, even in the pulpit.
4. Then the thing that put me over the top, when I finally realized our government is Evil, that we look good from the outside but inside our government is about as rotten as any other man-lead ruler-ship. WACO. I’ve never recovered. Everything since, up to this very day, has been a confirmation.

The Edomites had a monopoly on Scribes in the entire middle east and are the writers of the Masoretic Texts that KJV and nearly all modern bibles are based on. They deliberately inserted mistranslations like the one mentioned that in the end changed entire theological debates and inaccurate bibles to the benefit of no one but the Edomite Imposters of the day who now own the entire planet. The final version of those Masoretic texts wasn’t finished until 1,000 AD. The Greek and Samaritan texts were dated as old as 250-300 BC.
An example that Austrian Peter and I have discussed here is the changing of the number of years the Hebrews were in Egypt including the time they were slaves. The correct number is 215 years but the Masoretic text altered it by removing 1400+ years from the ages of the Patriarchs and Put the Hebrews in Egypt for 400=years.
This was confirmed by Egyptologis and ancient historian David Rohl in “A test of time” Page 397 in the pdf version.
