“James Murdoch’s wife Kathryn tweets ‘we did it!!!!’ and shares anti-Trump posts after Biden’s win – days after agreeing with CNN’s Jake Tapper that Fox News should disavow Trump’s election fraud claims.”
The standard leftist narrative, repeated endlessly in the mainstream media and by Democrats, is that Fox News is an irresponsible far-right conspiracy theory media outlet that supports the evil orange tweeter and white supremacy. The truth is rather different. Kathryn Murdoch, who belongs to the multi-billionaire Murdoch family that owns Fox, tweeted, after it became clear that Joe Biden had “won” the 2020 election, “we did it!!!!” and agreed with CNN’s Jake Tapper that Fox News should disavow Trump’s claims that there was election fraud. Really? Within a few days of the “election”, Kathryn and Jake knew there was no election fraud. How, barring consulting fortune-tellers, did they know this so fast? Doesn’t one usually need these old-fashioned things called “investigations” to determine the facts and don’t investigations, if they are genuine rather than a whitewash, take time, especially if powerful elites resist them?
Kathryn Murdoch’s tweet is also surprising because it suggests that she does not grasp that it is not her family’s job, despite all their money and power, to pick the president of the United States since that privilege belongs only to the American people (and it does not matter if the corrupt self-serving elitist class in both parties does not like the person selected by the American people to reign in the corrupt self-serving elitist class in both parties). One might have expected this sort of behavior from CNN or MSNBC, but Fox News is supposed to be the only “news” channel that gives conservatives and Republicans a fair break. But does it?
In addition, the Fox News’ decision desk appeared to be in such a hurry to coronate Biden that it called Arizona, a crucial bellwether state, for Biden before any of the other major “news” organizations, including CNN and MSNBC. Real Clear Politics had not even called Arizona for Biden until a week later. Part of the answer may be that Fox had hired Democrat Hillary Clinton voter Arnon Mishkin to lead the decision desk on election night. Wasn’t Hillary available? Naturally, Fox News has re-hired Trump hating Democrat Mishkin to call the 2022 results as well.
In fact, the bias appeared even before the election had taken place. One of the most egregious events took place at the first Trump-Biden presidential debate when Chris Wallace hectored Trump about his alleged refusal to condemn white supremacy.
Wallace: “Are you willing, tonight to condemn white supremacists and militia groups and say that they need to stand down and not add to the violence in a number of these cities …”
Trump: Sure, I’m prepared to do that. … I’m willing to do anything. I want to see peace.
It’s just awful, isn’t it? Asked if he is willing to condemn white supremacy and violence Trump says “Sure … I want to see peace.” How dare he! Why couldn’t he have just been completely clear and said, “Sure … I want to see peace”?
Naturally the “news” media managed to misreport Trump’s answer as “hesitation” to condemn white supremacy. However, saying “sure” and calling for peace in response to Wallace’s question is condemning white supremacy. How many times and in how many ways must Trump do it?
In response to Trump’s affirmative answer that he was of course (that’s what “sure” means) willing to condemn white supremacy, Wallace and Biden, apparently reading from the same script, issued remarkably similar imperatives,
Wallace: Then do it, sir.
Biden: Do it. Say it.
With Wallace is taking his position for him, Biden might have just stayed in his basement. Although Wallace would say that he just wanted a more explicit answer, the very fact that Wallace even asked the question displays his bias. For, by asking that question Wallace was just repeating Biden’s verifiably false claim that Trump had never condemned white supremacy. In fact, 48 hours after the Charlottesville incident, Trump, referring to the tearing down of statues, said the following,
You’re changing history [by tearing down the statues] … [Y]ou had people — and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists because they should be condemned totally. But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists. … [and] the press has treated them absolutely unfairly.
Since Trump had already explicitly criticized “white supremacy” (and this not the only occasion) long before that debate with Wallace and Biden, by asking that question Wallace was reinforcing Biden’s fact-checked objectively false narrative that Trump had not criticized white supremacy. If one asks someone in public why they won’t deny beating their wife, one has, even if the charge is totally false, and even if he has already demonstrated that he doesn’t beat her, done the damage. Wallace put Trump in a no-win situation. Even if Trump condemns white supremacy, people will ask: Why did it take Wallace to force him to do it in a presidential debate?
Further, Wallace somehow managed to forget to ask Joe Biden about his own long history of racist remarks, including his appalling remark that it was a “storybook” that Obama is clean and articulate and good looking. It is a “storybook” (fanciful) because Biden thinks it happens so seldom, that a black man is clean and articulate and good looking? Really?
This biased pattern at Fox News continued after the election when, less than a week later, Neil Cavuto censored Kayleigh McEnany when she made charges about voter fraud. Muting her remarks, Cavuto replied, “Whoa, whoa, whoa! … Unless she has more details to back that up, I can’t in good countenance continue showing you this.” Apparently Cavuto agrees with Kathryn Murdoch and Jake Tapper that the peasants, who are clearly not smart enough to think things through for themselves, cannot even be allowed to hear such charges unless one already has the evidence, even though no investigation, which is where one would get the evidence, has taken place. When did that become a rule? Does Stacy Abrams or Hillary Clinton follow that rule? What about Al Gore in 2000 or Joe Biden talking about the upcoming shellacking in 2022? It is a self-fulfilling prophecy that if one is not allowed to talk about voter fraud, there can be no investigation, which means no evidence will be found. How convenient! It sure sounds like a lot of people don’t want any investigation of the 2020 election to take place. Some of us think we know why.
With all the skulduggery in the past when “liberal” “moderators” from other networks, Candy Crowley, Lester Holt, etc., put their thumb on the scales with false information to protect “Democrat” presidential candidates, when Fox News, the alleged bastion of conservative thought, was allowed to send a “moderator” to the presidential debates, they send their house liberal Democrat, Chris Wallace? The presidential debate “moderators” must be all “liberals” all the time? Conservatives cannot even once get to hear Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity or Judge Jeanine grill a “Democrat” presidential candidate in the debates? Das ist streng verboten! Everything must always be slanted in the “Democrats” favor? The “Democrats” must always be protected from any real accountability? Perhaps, with Wallace over at CNN now, Fox News will send Juan Williams or Howard Kurtz as “moderator” to represent their conservative base in the 2024 presidential debates?
Despite the standard Democrat-media narrative that Fox News is an irresponsible “far right” news channel, Fox News is a part of the same politically correct self-serving elitist ruling class. True, Fox News gives us Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Judge Jeanine, Mark Levin, Jesse Watters, Laura Ingraham and a few others to placate the peasants – which none of the other channels could bear to do, and that is useful. But one can understand nothing unless one remembers that Trump led a people’s rebellion against the elites and, when it came to the crucial election, the elites in all parties and “news” rooms stuck together against the “deplorables.” Yes, you all-knowing manipulative elites “did it,” and the massive damage to our nation by the clueless and lawless Biden-administration is on your arrogant unreflective heads.

I recognized this in the 2012 election coverage and never watched them again. They were giddy that the chocolate messiah had gotten a 2nd term.
