The Decline & Fall of the Global Economy

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

There are a host of Republicans writing to Biden that he should send planes to Ukraine. These people in Washington are always quick to spill the blood of other people’s children – not their own. I find it appalling that you do not hear a single world that Zelensky should compromise on anything. His refusal to let the two provinces be independent which was promised them in the Mink Agreement back in 2014 is unnecessarily putting his entire country at risk for some antiquated theory of imperialism. It was the USSR that drew the borders of Ukraine. It was not an independent country in itself until modern times.

Instead, Zelensky is trying to drag the entire world into World War III, and make no mistake about it, do that and you will find that China is partners with Russia. There is no doubt that Russia should go ahead and nationalize all the foreign companies that left Russia over this Ukraine issue. Even Warren Buffet started dumping Apple stock. Never in all my career have I watched corporations make such stupid decisions. There is no such thing as “temporarily” closing businesses. Biden has destroyed the world economy with sanctions and confiscated the assets of private Russians. There will be no return because there is no way that Russia can now yield to the demand of the West. So they will never return and the assets left behind might as well be nationalized for the world economy as we have known it has been destroyed.

Once Biden removed Russia from SWIFT, which refused to do so when asked by Obama during 2014 and Crimea, that was the first blow to the world economy. SWIFT has undermined the entire world showing that it is no longer about supporting global interaction, but it is just now a political tool. China now has no choice but to move ahead on its own replacement. Hence, that was the first blow to ending the global economy. The second was Biden confiscating the personal assets of Russians rather than keeping this between governments. This has created a Waterfall Crisis whereas the global economy as we once knew it has come to an end. You cannot do business with the United States for they can invade a country, never be sanctioned, but if anyone else does what they do it becomes war. Whoever is making these sorts of decisions clearly has no sense of integrity, history, or international relations.

Biden will be remembered as the man that began the decline and fall of the American Empire.

A Russia and China alliance is very bad for US , militarily, economically…any way you look at it.

The Proxy War

Game theoretician Alex Macris shares his perspective on the special military operation in the Ukraine.

In order to maintain hegemony, the United States needs Russia to become a Western satellite before the petrodollar system collapses.

As long as Russia is a pro-Chinese authoritarian state, China can:
1) reliably get food, oil, and gas without needing to worry what the US thinks
2) focus all of its military might on population control (internal) and power projection (vs Taiwan, southeast Asia, and South China Sea) without worrying about its border with Russia
3) develop the Belt & Road initiative into Europe without worrying about Eurasian continental interference

These three factors, in turn, spell doom for the American hegemony. The first factor means that it can detach from the petrodollar, and therefore detach from SWIFT; the second factor means that it can be a one-front power rather than have to be a two-front power like the US, doubling its budget-per-theater; and the third factor means that it can neutralize America’s blue ocean sea power and thalassocracy.

It’s thus no surprise that the US has systematically and methodically worked towards turning the former USSR into a Western client. It has rolled EU and NATO membership eastward. When it has encountered resistance, it has staged color revolutions (twice, in Ukraine’s case). It applies sanctions, propaganda, and soft power. Since 2015 the CIA has been training anti-Russian insurgents.

Since I know this, we can safely assume that Russia knows this, too. Putin knows, for a fact, that his regime is the prime target of the West. Not because they are afraid of Russia, but because they are afraid of China. Controlling Russia is the method to keep China in check.

Moreover, China knows this too. China has Russia’s back. If China is going to unseat America as hegemon, it needs Russian oil, gas, resources, food, and access through its territory. Russia didn’t just get China’s permission to attack Ukraine — it collaborated with it on timing and intelligence.

During the Cold War, the US would not go to war with the Russians directly, but it took every opportunity to go to war with Russia via proxies. What we have now is another such proxy war. The proper lens to understand the Russia-Ukraine War is that it is a proxy war between China and the US.

What makes this a uniquely dangerous situation is that this time the proxy has nukes.

OMFG, every rare time something on Vox Populi would make some sense, they manage to derail it with half-assed bullshit strewn in.

>[Putin’s] regime
We’re so lucky the US and it’s vassals are no regimes!

>this time the proxy has nukes
What?
The proxy is Ukraine, not Russia (“not go to war with the Russians directly”). How does the Ukraine have nukes?

Ukraine had the world’s third largest nuke stockpile when the USSR fell. Supposedly gave/sold them to us which now seems a bad idea though I don’t want any of these people armed with more than they have now. Still, would anybody really give up every last one? If so, what dumb shits.

It has been a while since the USSR imploded, but my (possibly incorrect memory) is that Ukraine gave up its nukes as part of the Budapest Agreement. Ukraine gives up nukes, Russia and the West (US, EU, and NATO) agree that Ukraine is neutral and thus not a party to any future disagreements between all other parties. Under the agreement, Ukraine became a sort of Switzerland of eastern Europe.

And then (under US pressure) NATO started creeping eastward. And in 2014 the US financed somewhere between 3 and 5 billion dollars for a coup in Ukraine. It put in a puppet money laundering and bribery government by enlisting the remaining Nazi thugs as strong arms. Victoria Nuland was actually in Ukraine cheering on the revolution as it happened.

The corporations implementing sanctions are not stupid, they are declaring all out war. The object of their actions is not to stop the war in Ukraine, it is to crust Russia for not going along with the globalist agenda. Russia, Iran, and N. Korea, along with the US economy must be destroyed before the globalist agenda can be complete.
Every time you purchase a good or service from a globalist corporation, you are financing your own demise.
Now who is stupid?

China, though looking like it is following the NWO in reality is not part of the group. The Chinese will be destroyed in the area of the Euphrates River toward the end of the tribulation. Until then they are a force to be reckoned with and they will choose their side as it benefits them the best. Interesting times we live in!

You think the 200 million man army led by the kings of the east involves China?

Why would you think THAT?

(Just kidding)

China may as well have an alternate SWIFT or whatever in operation or ready to roll since they really want to take Taiwan and our interference can be abrogated that way. They also want to take three island chains which represent massive floating aircraft carriers or staging areas which could be used against them. Midway and Hawaii are targets they eventually plan to take to make the Pacific a Chinese lake.
We are led by Cucks & Fuques. I don’t see how they do not very soon come after all who see this and attempt to point it out.

“three island chains which represent massive floating aircraft carriers”

Not really floating… staging, yes. 🙂
