Two Years Ago Today Joe Biden Promised to End the US Oil Industry — Joe Kept That Promise and Today Gas Is $4.32 a Gallon

Two years ago today, Joe Biden promised to end the oil industry in America:

“No more subsidies for fossil fuel industry. No more drilling on federal lands. No more drilling, including offshore. No ability for the oil industry to continue to drill, period, ends.”

This is one promise Joe and Democrats kept.

Gas is now $4.32 a gallon in the US.

Today we have the highest gas prices in history thanks to the lunatics in the Democrat Party. Rather than opening up the US energy sector Joe Biden is reaching out to Venezuela, Iran and OPEC to resolve our energy needs.

Here is a video of Joe Biden repeatedly promising to crush the US energy sector.

When communists and muslims say they will build something, they are lying. When they tell you they are going to destroy something, they are telling you the truth.

Over the weekend the President of El Salvador said it is quite obvious the Biden regime is intent on destroying America and our government is filled with traitors.

“It is plainly evident today, with 40 years of historical examination behind it, that the “New International Economic Order” was really “new” and envisioned historic Technocracy as replacing Capitalism altogether. Technocracy was based on energy rather than money and its system of supply and demand that regulates pricing. Some distinctives of Technocracy include:

• Elimination of private property and wealth accumulation
• Replacing traditional education with workforce training
• Micromanaging all energy distribution and consumption
• Driving people to live in a limited number of cities and off of rural land
• Enforcing a balance between nature’s resources and man’s consumption of them.

“Are you thinking that this list is vaguely familiar? You should, because it represents the modern manifestation of programs like Agenda 21, Sustainable Development, Smart Growth, Smart Grid, Cap And Trade, Climate Change, Common Core, massive surveillance operations and a whole lot more. All of this has been brought to us by the machinations of the Trilateral Commission and its members since 1973, and it is all part of its master plan to completely replace capitalism with Technocracy. This is their “New International Economic Order“! — Patrick Wood, Endgame of Technocracy (Patrick Wood’s book, Technocracy Rising

I’ll take some of that $4.32 a gallon gas. It’s well over $5 a gallon here in Commiefornia North (Washington).

In the pit of SoCal I paid $5.18 for AvGas vs $5.73 for ‘off brand’ Premium grade auto gas. Something’s wrong with this picture….

For the cheap stuff it’s 5.80 a gallon here. 5.70 if paying in cash.

Just a little math for discussion.

Say you have a 20-gallon gas tank and fill up (20 gallons) per week.

The difference between $2 gas and $4.50 gas is…. (drum roll)….

$2300 per year.

Not making judgments or conclusions.

But that is about a $200 per month adjustment. And historically it has been temporary.

That being said – how many people analyze their spending habits?

  • How much is spent on shit? Like commercial coffee, restaurants, or entertainment?
  • What else do they buy that is “non-essential?”
  • Can anything be sacrificed temporarily to make up for the $200?

$200 bucks (give or take) seems to be manageable for most. Except those that are barely scraping by with ZERO “entertainments.” (which I guess is next to nil – since everyone has expensive cell bills and streaming tv services).

Dunno – this “crisis” isn’t as bad as they make it seem.

Just saying.

My assumption based on the same info would be that a whole lot of folks are about to have to give up those unlimited cell plans and cut the cable back quite a bit. Before this current round of shit brought by the filthocrats deranged ideas over 60% were living paycheck to paycheck. Now it is 80%. 10% February inflation in producer prices will give us that double digit inflation of the 70’s-early 80’s very soon. Last month it was already 8.9%. Your analysis ignores food, electric, natgas and water increases.
A cynical reading of your comments would indicate you believe people are just whiners (sure, some are) and can happily give up their minor luxuries to fill up to drive to those jobs where they are not making enough to make ends meet. Sounds like fucking serfdom to me.

Thanks for the comment. I did forget the other inflationary items such as food. That is okay, though.

We are certainly not wealthy by any means either. We have made cuts in regards to food as well. I now enjoy boneless pork ribs instead of beef (much cheaper for now). In fact, I like them better.

Either way – with costs up across the board, it becomes a challenge for sure.

But smart people cut back, analyze, and strategize.

And nowhere did I suggest that people are whining – but rather suggested that the price increases for fuel (in that example) should be quantified to see what amount extra it is per month, etc. Nip/tuck has always been a methodology for those looking to survive.

With the exception of those BARELY making it by, there are so many ways to adjust. Even if you have lavish habits like smoking (roll your own) or alcohol (vodka instead of wine).

PS – I still don’t understand gas prices. Much of the time, these prices go up and down daily. But don’t these companies have inventory they purchased long before? And didn’t they practically drill the oil themselves? Seems kind of off.

Same thing with stores. A place I like sells metal shelves. The price for one model I buy frequently went up from $89, to $99, then $109, then $119, and today to $129. They have had the same inventory the entire time. How did the price of existing inventory go up? What is causing that?

Existing inventory has to be replaced with new. If you sell a shelf for $100 and have to pay $100 to replace it you will likely hike the price on existing inventory. Don’t forget the taxes on the profit on the previous shelf. It’s a vicious circle.
I could explain oil if you were sitting here but it would take fifteen or twenty minutes. It’s not rocket science but there are an amazing number of variables as to how it winds up at a certain price right now.

Crude oil and gasoline are ‘fungible’ items traded on the commodities market. No oil company sets the price of their product-commodities traders do. I ran a small oil field in the 80s–I still remember ‘the crash of ’86’… the value of oil in the tanks at the field dropped almost $10/bbl in a few days, almost overnite. Saudis flooded the market, price dropped like a rock. They could weather the price drop, a lot of producers who had higher ‘lift costs’ couldn’t, and many went out of business.

Please….oil prices high by design. Takes a hundred dollar plus price per barrel to make drilling viable. The Eagleford is kicking up, the rigs are out of storage, drilling commences. They always hike prices and then you give a sigh of relief when it goes down from five to four dollars.
Ain’t being manipulated constantly and incessantly great? Got green energy? How much did Obammie give to them green energy companies that promptly went belly up? Solendra ring a bell? Pfizer gonna make billions…got covid? Remember the billions for a website for Obammie’s good buddies promoting Obamacare? How you like your healthcare these days?

$4.56 at my gas station. Joe can brag, “I did that, but now I need help changing my diaper. Too much excitement caused too much excrement. Oops, wasn’t supposed to say that. I’m in trouble.” *Shuffles off*
