One in Five of Americans Broke Before Payday

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Inflation is at a 40-year high with no indication of slowing. People are feeling the lower buying power of the USD as one in five Americans now run out of liquid funds before payday, according to a survey by Salary Finance as reported by CNBC. Over three-quarters stated that they have been feeling the effects of inflation this past year. Around 20% of the 3,000 respondents said that they run out of money between paychecks, marking a 15% uptick since 2021.

Around 25% are finding it difficult to afford essential items such as food, gas, and health care. The price of automobiles is at an all-time high due to the chip shortage, and gas prices seem to rise daily. One-third polled cannot afford to put any money toward savings, and those who can likely are contributing less.

Without savings, the possibility of home ownership is out of reach for many. Housing prices increased over 7.02% since 2020, according to the Labor Department, but that is factoring in prices across the board. In reality, any desirable area costs more.

Although wages have increased around 5%, the cost of living surpasses any additional funds. Let’s not forget that taxes have not decreased either and those in charge are continuously planning to spend money on agendas that do not promote the taxpayers’ quality of life. Gone are the days when lower to middle-income Americans could work hard and afford a comfortable life; people are simply trying to stay afloat.

(Fed Chair Powell admitting inflation was no longer “transitory” in November 2021)

Last I read, half of the US population is on food stamps. Whit inflation, it will go to 75%. Welcome to the 3rd world complete with a newly imported 500,000 Mexicans per month.

He read it everywhere but the MSM. Th.ere are two to five million queuing up right now from South America to Guatemala with the first wave hitting the road. Mexico cannot handle these numbers.
Chinese armed Cartel armies will be fighting Mexico and the US all over the southwestern US and Mexico. While the Rainbow Flag army is tied up getting it’s ass kicked under the oppression of JAG officers posing as Zampolits of political correctness, China and Russia will have a free hand everywhere else. Fuck Joe Biden.

I suspect that “food stamps” in his statement is a simple way of saying “Gov’t Benefits.” If you were to look it up, you’d probably find that almost 1/2 of all American households are getting some form of gov’t benefit.

I wish it was 500,000 Mexicans. It is Nigerians, Haitians, Cubans, Venezuelans, Chinese, Afghans, Pakis, Iranians, Russians, Ukrainians. It includes spies and terrorists in large numbers. Drug cartel soldiers. Chinese PLA officers sent to run cells.
We need to line the border with troops and cops and shoot anyone who is caught on our side of the river. One burst from one machine-gun into a horde will end it. The pee pants will decry killing five or ten innocents. The pee pants will ignore the thousands of Americans who will be robbed, raped or murdered every year by this mob trying to gain access. They will use their crimes to insist on taking your guns and freedoms.

This is all really like a game of poker. Think of it this way: If you sit down to play and you’ve $100 in your pocket but you are playing against players with $10,000 each in their pockets then you wont be playing for very long regardless of how good of a player you are. That said, we are about to see that scenario play out across all of N. America here shortly as 80% of Americans have no actual assets when weighed against their obligations.

The only question that remains is this: Once the house stops comping food & beverages, where will these players go once they can no longer sit at the table?

How many of those people pay Grub Hub or Uber Eats $26 to deliver $8 worth of McDonald’s chicken nuggets? How many of them have a car loan when they should be driving a hoopty until they can afford a better hoopty? Etc etc.

You are pointing out a small number of assholes to justify ignoring the real pain of the majority of those having a hard time because of the globalist filth Democrats and RINOs. Rent is mind numbing everywhere and we all know about energy and food costs. Places like Cedar Rapids Iowa have studio apartments in decent areas close to $2,000. Wowsers! Now I’m making $40 Grand working at McDonalds and it takes half of that to rent a double wide at the trailer park. That is the reality for millions

This country has the largest group of money wasters that has ever existed. Lottery, tattos, Apple phones and the list goes on. Don’t expect me to feel sorry for them! Driving around in a vehicle that cost 80K and gets terrible mileage. Not smart! Waste not, want not.
