Putin v Russian Neocons

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

I have warned that Putin is a reasonable man. The hatred the Neocons keep painting him with is not just unfair, it is a strategic ploy to DEMONIZE your opponent to justify your own position. They used that same tactic against Trump.

I have tried to explain that Putin is the ONLY rational world leader today. I have warned that if you remove Putin, you will be shocked at what stands behind him. Putin has been called “weak” behind the scenes in Russia because he has been too soft on Ukraine.

All the comments about attacking Finland and Sweden are from the second tier — not Putin. Even in Ukraine, Putin made NO effort to conquer the country. The first thing you do is take out the power grid, the communications, and then the water supply. The US did that by invading Iraq. That is STANDARD operating warfare tactics. The fact Putin did not do that showed he was only interested in liberating the Donbas, which is predominantly Russia.

Ukraine has been putting out nothing but propaganda. Even the so-called Bucha massacre has come with allegations. There is NOT one photo showing all these slaughtered dead bodies. I have friends in Donbas as well as Kyiv. If you dared to bring a bottle of Russian vodka for dinner with a Western Ukrainian, it is a serious insult. The sheer hatred there is unimaginable. It is on par with the hatred that had existed in Ireland between North and South.

I am warning you, take Putin out, and you will peel back the union and find the Russian Neocons who hate the American Neocons on an equal footing. I fear that you will see that Putin will not be there for the 2024 election. Who takes charge after 2024 may very well use nuclear weapons and irradicate Kyiv, which Putin is nostalgic about and regards that is the first capital of the Russ – origin of Russians. He will not flatten Ukraine. The second tier would not think twice.

WTF is Martin event talking about? Blitzkriegs only happen after diplomacy is determined Z complete failure.

Russia’s Defense Ministry has for the first time issued details regarding its threatened “military and technical” response two days after Finland and Sweden submitted their applications for NATO membership.

Martin is correct and wrong at the same time.

Putin has repeatedly said that Finland or Sweden joining NATO is fine, just as he is OK with Poland, Rumania etc. remaining in NATO.
His red line is that no troops from other [NATO] countries may be stationed there (nor perpetually “rotated”), nor any missile bases constructed.

What part of “diplomacy” first did you not get ?

I have no idea what you are trying to convey.
Diplomacy [with “Western” countries] is over, and has been over a long time ago. Russia has stated their minimum demands -the last time in written form in December 2021-, and the NATO countries joining after 1997 can now decide if they want to adhere to those, or be demilitarized. So far, all have opted for the latter.

You’ll know when diplomacy is done. Bet on it.

When nukes are flying, you are implying?
That’s too black/white [false dichotomy] to me.

But please tell us what diplomatic negotiation space is still left in your view, and what outcome(s) are still see practically possible, at this point.

Yep. You got it, bozo.

Moscow has offered a diplomatic solution to the Black Sea standoff. On Thursday, the Kremlin proposed lifting the blockage in exchange for sanctions relief. The Russian Foreign Ministry said the problem goes beyond the blockade and includes Western sanctions restricting fertilizer exports. “You have to not only appeal to the Russian Federation but also look deeply at the whole complex of reasons that caused the current food crisis. [Sanctions] interfere with normal free trade, encompassing food products including wheat, fertilizers and others,” Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko said.

That’s diplomacy to you,
meaning a true starting point for negotiations, with a non-negligible chance that the other side will a) take part in negotiations, and b) an agreed upon outcome can be achieved? [and I’m even ignoring the part if that then will be adhered to, afterwards]

I’d like some of what you’re smoking.

Every move outside of war is diplomacy, dipshit.

diplomacy, the established method of influencing the decisions and behaviour of foreign governments and peoples through dialogue, negotiation, and other measures short of war or violence.

So all politics is an enactment of the “art of diplomacy”?

LOL

You read fine. It’s just the comprehension part you have trouble with. You need work on that.

Russia has stated that if Sweden and Finland join NATO, it would move nuclear weapons closer to the two countries. “There can be no more talk of any nuclear–free status for the Baltic [region],” said Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov added that Putin had already ordered the military to boost its forces opposite Europe.

Though the Bank of Russia announced that they had intended to keep the peg of 5,000 rubles to 1g of gold for the next three months, on 7 April, 2022, […] they released a statement that they will now buy gold at market prices due to a “significant change in market conditions”.

John Kim didn’t even provide a link to an article confirming his writing (and interpretation.)
Either very sloppy or BSing.

Situations present themselves , and postures change , approaches change . Lots of speculation going on as to who is doing what and why , sometimes things just are as they are at the moment , and every day is a new day . Sometimes best not to use a meat cleaver when a scalpel is more appropriate . Putin seems to be a thinking man who chooses his tools wisely . Zelensky just seems to be a tool . Yesterday’s strategy is not today’s strategy . Without foreign meddling , Putin and Zelensky would have made a deal by now (my speculation) . Media be damned , for they don’t help things . Fuck…. who knows ? , perhaps not even the players in this war drama .

They keep finding mass graves it is reported , well no shit Sherlock , the streets are filled with bodies , the morgues are blown up , and the morticians most likely boogied the fuck on outta the country . There is a health concern with rotting corpses laying about , and it is more honorable to bury the dead than let feral dogs and critters gnaw off limb by limb the bodies of the victims of war . Weird situations bring about different responses , sometimes with a backhoe . Shame but true .

American politicians (and many of the people, both D’s and R’s) simply are not even capable of thinking two steps ahead.

— Vote out Trump!! But too stupid to realize electing someone mentally incapacitated will ruin the country.

— Impeach Dementia!! But too stupid to realize Kameltoe is even worse.

— Overthrow Putin!! You do know that our brilliant (sarc) leaders believe they can install another puppet goofball they can control, like that drunk Yeltsin. But too stupid to realize they might get a Stalin.

.
Only the dumbest, most evil, and most corrupt people become politicians. Especially in this country since at least 1861.

It is on par with the hatred that had existed in Ireland between North and South.

LOL. LOL.

This guy knows nothing of Ireland, proved by that statement.

If he knows nothing about Ireland then what’s the bets he also knows nothing about Russia. LOL.
