Escaping the City During the COVID Scamdemic, Part 1

Guest Post by Slugdaddy

Waking up in a New Normal Nightmare

This is part 1 of a series about my experience moving from a large metro area to a small rural town with my family, amidst the political and cultural chaos of the covid scamdemic. See part 2 here. See part 3 here. See part 4 here.

Note to the reader: My use of the term scamdemic isn’t meant to imply I think the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic doesn’t exist. I think it does, and it’s being used as a scam.

The covid scamdemic was like an atom bomb dropped in the middle of my life; nothing has been the same since. Not all the changes have been bad, in fact I’m probably happier now, but the involuntary nature of the scamdemic makes even positive changes feel coerced and rushed.

In March 2020, I was living more-or-less the American dream in a trendy close-in suburb of north Atlanta. Big brick house on a large suburban lot, kids attending a great private school, pretty wife, personal and professional autonomy. The advertising company I own was growing steadily, and had just moved into a “Google style” office in one of the most beautiful office buildings in Atlanta. My drive to work was 7 miles, which was almost always a serene experience, even with traffic, from the driver’s seat of my Bentley Flying Spur W12. From a thousand foot view, everything looked great…

But it wasn’t exactly satisfying, more like exhausting. When you live in an area where the cost of housing and private school are doubling every ten years, your income has to pretty much double every ten years just to keep up. You can’t afford to get comfortable; the others dads in my old neighborhood busted their asses all the time just like me. What time I had that wasn’t taken up with earning money was often spent going to and from various kids activities; including baseball, soccer, ballet class, swim team, tennis lessons, piano lessons, golf lessons, and much, much more. Just as keeping your income climbing fast enough to not fall behind had become a competitive sport, parenting itself had taken on the dimensions of a competitive sport. It was, in short, unsustainable.

THE LOCKDOWN

The lockdown started suddenly in Georgia, and, after, things were eerily quiet for some time. Under the lockdown directives, since my business was non-essential, only myself as the owner and one employee were allowed to go there on a regular basis. You were not allowed to go in someone else’s home, even if they were related to you. Most parks were closed at first. Only one family member was allowed out for groceries and other necessities. These rules were not really enforced, at least that I ever saw, but people in my suburb obeyed them anyway. For the duration of the lockdown and beyond, the people around us locked down and we saw practically no one outside our immediate family unit for a couple months.

When I did venture into the office, I was greeted with numerous layers of absurdity. The management company jumped at the chance to adorn everything with warnings and rules. (Without much consideration as to the effects that might have on the how rapid people might return to work, or how much demand there would be for commercial office space?)

Is this an elevator to hell?

In the early days of the lockdown I realized something: Though I would have happily violated the rules to hang out with a friend, I didn’t actually know anyone well enough to ask. Obviously from the beginning of the scamdemic there has been immense social pressure to conform to the rules and mandates, often with hatred directed at anyone who didn’t “take covid seriously.” It was a sad and shocking revelation for me that I wasn’t close enough with anyone to gauge where they would likely fall on the covid-crazy spectrum.

Even worse, my wife knew plenty of people well enough to know where they stood, and WITHOUT EXCEPTION her friends and their spouses were “all in” on the narrative. (As I write this I realize that she must have experienced much more intense social pressure to conform, from her social group, than I had previously considered. She held up pretty well though.)

I spent most of the lockdown riding around in the Bentley vaping marijuana and listening to techno; taking in the deepening insanity of the world around me from the protective and empowering confines its interior.

Guaranteed to provide immunity from traffic stops in nearly all driving conditions.

The church we had attended for several years prior locked down and went radio silent; church services did not resume until mid-2021, and then only with masks and discrimination against the unvaccinated. I realized that the “community” I had imagined myself to be a part of wasn’t really a community at all, just a subset of atomized individuals who happened to be pursing their individual goals in geographic proximity to each other. Maybe that was an okay arrangement in times of peace and prosperity, but it turned out to suck when covid came to town.

THE “SOFT” REOPENING

By the time the lockdown in Georgia ended in May, I knew covid had an infection fatality rate of 0.12-0.2%, I knew the duplicitous Fauci had been involved in coronavirus research in Wuhan that likely led to the scamdemic, and I knew the people around me were not thinking critically about what was happening or where it was leading.

Prior to the scamdemic, we had made reservations for a summer vacation at our favorite resort in South Carolina. Throughout the lockdown it was unknown whether the resort would even be open, or whether we would be able to legally travel there. It remained a beacon of hope for me in the distance, that perhaps normal would return by our summer vacation in June 2020. The resort did end up opening one week prior, and we went, and it was good but also weird. Pool time had to be reserved and was limited capacity, and “the mask” had begun to make its appearance, though only on employees at that time. Overall, it was a blessing the resort was open and we were able to enjoy a little normalcy. The night before we left to come home Rayshard Brooks was shot and killed after falling asleep in his car at a Wendy’s in Atlanta, and then attempting to taze an officer. The BLM summer had begun.

The BLM summer was one of the few events of the scamdemic that woke a few people up to the exaggerated nature of the response, and the insincerity of those driving that response. How anyone could not see through the utter bullshit, I do not know.

As it happens, my sister-in-law and her husband and children were driving up to Atlanta to visit us the night we returned from vacation. Fortunately, they took the longer route around 285. Had they driven through the city they would have been stranded for hours on the interstate without food or water, and possibly accosted by BLM protestors.

The BLM protests continued over the summer, eventually moving north into the suburbs, and right up to our neighborhood. The suburban protestors were ironically almost entirely white people. They worked in shifts, and I once actually caught them doing a “shift change” in front of the Dicks sporting goods on the corner.

Entirely White “Black Lives Matter” Protestors Preaching to the Choir

MASKHOLES

The supposedly highly rated Cobb County public school system did not return to “in person” learning in fall of 2020. The private school my children attended did open for the 2020-2021 school year, but a with mandatory mask policy. As with all absurd covid policies, there was no discussion or debate, it was take it or leave it. Public school parents frustrated with the closed local schools rushed to enroll their children in private schools, like ours. This sudden influx of revenue seemed to convince the school that existing parents with concerns were irrelevant to the decision-making process, as their children could be easily replaced with newcomers who wouldn’t argue. My little princess spent her entire kindergarten year wearing a mask that made it hard for her to breathe, and there was absolutely nothing a Slugdaddy could do about it.

You’ll notice in the photo above (first day of school) that my daughter and I are wearing gaiter-style face diapers, which do make it a little easier to breathe than a full face diaper. Within a few weeks these were banned, since they don’t provide enough “protection.” My 8 year old son kept getting mask-acne. Basically literal child abuse and all the other parents thought it was just fucking fine.

To Be Continued…

I don’t think that I will continue with the rest of this.

“I spent most of the lockdown riding around in the Bentley vaping marijuana and listening to techno; taking in the deepening insanity of the world around me from the protective and empowering confines its interior.”

Instead of that, how about you, with enough money to finance a Bentley, hiring a high-power Constitutional attorney who brings suit against any and all in your locality who denied you due process – who abrogated your right to earn a living, your right to speak freely, your right to freely assemble?

No shit, besides he went along with this bs. No good parent would let their kid wear a mask. For that matter, they might think very strongly about pulling their kid out of public school.

yeah, and this “whether we would be able to legally travel there”. WTF I live in Jay Inslee Fiefdom, where weren’t “allowed” to travel or be with people from outside your household, by decree of that ass. I did whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. Only times I ever got harassed was the pyscho glares of the face diaper people.

yeah wtf, likewise ‘not allowed’ to visit someone’s house? for fucks sake, he’s in america where there is a exmplicit freedom to assemble right there in the constitution! he’s got a bentley and cant afford to throw a heavy lawyer on that issue (imagine if a few thousand people had done so from day one, in the states)?
i was in greece the whole time , where for a good six months the cops were roving around busting people for merely being out on the street without paperwork granting them an ‘exception’ to the mass-house-arrest that had been dictated by some government lackeys. where the face rags thing was enforced with enthusiasm by cops eager to write heavy fines on people , and the face rags were demanded _everywhere_ outside on the street even… where they _did_ impose a ‘tax’ on uninjected people to twist peoples arms even more.. where the borders were effectively closed for months, again, only if someone had some exceptional ‘permission’ was it otherwise. yes for some months in the summer they relaxed to get some tourist dollars flowing and then the same shit again the second winter.
and yet, i did not comply. i got harrassed by goons and had fines slapped on me but i did not comply. so in america where resisting this shit would have been a lot easier and a lot lower risk? sorry buddy you failed the test.
now, perhaps he’s since then opened his eyes. if so good for him. but i dont think someone who spent the critical early time when these monsters were trying to push as fast and as far as they could, just tooling around stoned in a car that cost more than my house, and who _had_ choices but still went along with faceragging his kids for example… i dont think ive got a lot to learn from someone like that about how he handled that time.
i printed up flyers challenging the bullshit narrative and left them around whenever i did go down to town. i did the absolute minimum of their ‘rules’ for ‘exceptional’ reasons to be out (basically going to a store and only for some hours, they set up some horrific electronic system where people send an sms to ‘request’ to go out for purpose a/b/c/d and then if/when they get a reply sms that says ok then they have so many hours from the timestamp in there to be out, with face rags and id etc on them.. they did also ‘allow’ a handwritten ‘self declaration’ supposing one didnt have a working phone, and i stuck to back roads and side streets going to town, sneaking around on foot in the back alleys (not wearing a face rag, even!) and slipping in and out of some shops , even the ones which were officially closed, because some other people also werent playing along. everywhere i found a likely spot to leave a flyer i did. some implored people to merely question the insane shit they were being told. others warned cops and enforcers to choose whether they were on the side of the people or of the ruling class.
i spent much of that time doing gardening and work in my fields (which was also prohibited unless one had a stack of paperwork providing ‘justification’ but , well, we were smart about moving around when we werent seen). When cops did show up in our village we would warn each other so nobody would get hit with a fine.
i wish so many times that we had the bill of rights in greece crystal clear right at the top of the constitution – greece might be one of the only countries where it was found ‘constitutionally acceptable’ to force people to be injected or else pay a fine or tax (and i will NEVER accept their injections)- but even without that you cant just effing go along with their shit!

Dumbass should have bought a home they could pay off with the proceeds from a Bentley and their other high end home. Instead he’s trying to finance something appropriate for his previous lifestyle. He sure wouldn’t fit in here where I’m at. And a wife that almost voted for Biden. lol. Dude is gonna have a hard life.

Yeah, he ain’t the perfectly awake citizen we all dream we are, so we swarm from the nest and sting him in the ass for his shortcomings like piss ants angry at the world for even the slightest deviation from what they see as ideal. He’s not the enemy, he’s not placid, and he is awakening. Your point is sort of valid.

Problem is, these people are always behind. I have seen dozens just like him. They unthinkingly and uncritically go along with the state in all things at the beginning, when they could possibly be stopped by a large enough push back.

Every-fucking-time.

I guarantee he has learned nothing and will go along with the next government demands, unthinkingly. It will not be until much later, if ever and probably too late, that he starts to question anything.

Rinse and repeat.

Your points are also sort of valid. Frustration and exasperation cause the boiling up of emotions that then yield words like, “always,” “every,” “guarantee,” and so on even though none of those words can be applied to human behavior. We humans are if anything adaptable. We can change, but the stimulus required varies with each of us and is hardly predictable in those who are on the edge, as this guy is. Condemning him as he adjusts to the evil around him seems counterproductive. Might be better to argue points than to quit him as a hopeless Bidenista.

Yup. I did use generalizations. But in my experience, always and every are accurate among those I know.

I quite literally know NOBODY who did not go along with the mask-erade. I know only one person who did not get at least one shot, and he still believes it is good for others to get them, just not him. He advised his parents to get shots despite my many warnings and supplied evidence.

I have seen the same accept, comply, maybe-much-later-when-way-too-late-question, every time the government pulls this kind of shit.

Condemning him? Not really. Just pointing out that waking up too late, is too late.

Frustration that these fuckheads are dragging us to hell with them? You bet.

Almost daily in the past couple of years I sent out articles refuting vaccine efficacy as well as the existence of viruses. These went to friends and relatives of whom nearly all took the shots. Do any of them debate me? Nope. Some have said they now know the shots don’t stop infections but do prevent death to a large extent. Is this an important change? It does seem in the cards that millions are going to die of the shots over the next few years. Will more people in the survivor group wake up? Or will it be too late, and “waking up too late, is too late?” Certainly too late for the dead, but the dead will be facts for the living, some of whom will surely awaken fully.

I sent this out just today:

https://www.naturalnews.com/2022-07-10-the-fraud-of-louis-pasteur-and-corrupt-history-of-virology-part-i.html

and said this:

Toxins (including pharmaceuticals), malnutrition, injury, stress, and epigenetic factors may result in disease.

There are and never has been any such thing as a virus and certainly none has ever been isolated.

Bacteria are the firemen, not the firestarters. They arrive at a site where they clean up the mess as is possible.

Studies as old as the hills have shown no transference of sickness can be caused by a sick person’s mucus being breathed in or even injected into another person. These studies are no longer done, but were exhaustive when they were done years ago. Why are they not done today? Guess.

Dr. Tom Cowan wrote a treatise recently on the whole deception and if you were to read it, you could not possibly believe the AMA and Big Pharma have your best interests in mind.

I have zero sympathy for him. You prep for something like this years in advance. We started in early 2019.

BTW, Gov Kemp opened up GA by April 2020 or so, the 1st state to do that. Masks optional, depending on locale.

Charleston simply shut down, downtown was a ghost town. Thankfully our rural retreat is near a town with good restaurants and lax restrictions.

BLM shutting down the Interstate in ATL is the reason I carry a pistol when I drive thru cities like ATL, Columbia SC etc.
Antifa / BLM came to my small town in NC to protest from Asheville. The Sheriff provided safety to allow them to speak publicly. I know most of the crowd was packing. They left and never came back.

One of the many reasons I carry…I also pack my folded Kel Tec Sub 2000 with 10 15 round mags in a shoulder bag in the back seat under a towel (or in the trunk depending) when traveling (which is super rare for me now).

Same Antifa / BLM bullshit in my small NC town…I was there with open carry as many of a like mind where.

Those asshats could see they were bleeding people in a small rural town pool…filled with openly armed sharks.

Most of the clapping clowns that showed up to the Social PC bullshit were collage aged fawns or soy boys from Chapel Hill…the few serious types were easy to spot…because we were eyeing one another up.

They knew that I knew that they knew that I knew who they really were.

(I counted Coup with my stare on two of them the day before during a drive by eye shooting…long story).

Now I know what the Indians felt like at the Little Big Horn.

If anyone would have tried dropping off a stack of bricks anywhere near downtown within minutes they would have been swarmed. The town was on Red alert…every pun intended.

I volunteered to protect two businesses downtown (one the gun store I strongly support). Both declined. The Gun store owner said he had been overwhelmed with customers like me volunteering…but he had it covered.

It was half a dozen woke white blather mouths and some sulky, brooding, mostly fat middle-aged blacks…who looked around nervously lot at the show of so many hard stares.

I am wondering if the whole post was Babylon Bee style way over the top parody.

“Don’t hate me just because I have a Bentley Flying Spur and you don’t. Life is sometimes very difficult for me. I was unable to fly over Europe in my private jet for over a month last year, because the mechanics couldn’t get an essential navigational part due to supply chain problems. I tried telling the FAA inspector that we could just use a compass, and offered him a hit on my vape pipe, but he was one of those silly sticklers for the rules. It was so frustrated that I drove around all day long every day in the Bentley vaping wacky weed. Oh, by the way, did I mention that my daily driver is a Bentley Flying Spur? We only drive the Ferrari to church on Sundays. “

The Bentley, the Ferrari… interesting, you can’t buy a new Ferrari (I didn’t remember the model, very sexy and red) unless you have a saleable used one to trade. They’re ordering them three years out. If you get a new Ferrari and keep it perfect, less than 3000 miles per year (average mileage for the brand), you can get up to 100k more than you paid selling it to a dealer, in the first two years. The one year maintenance goes 30k. Tires last about 3k miles. So once you get in the system you can own and drive your Ferrari nearly without cost of equipment.
