America is a superiorly depressing place to be. USA! USA! USA!

Big pharma rules, and we are a nation of drug addicts. I’m 63 and I take no prescriptions, and I never will.
Same thing in my 70’s. Nurse practitioner is always trying to get me to get a shot or take a maintenance drug and I have to constantly remind her that I do not do drugs.
Awesome. The last time I was at a real Doctor for checkup, they ask you questions for 10 minutes or so. I told the Doctor I don’t drink, smoke, do drugs, or go to doctors. But since I am on a roll today, I might do all three. Got a nice smirk out of him.
For those who may have missed it. My Covid adventure.
My recent run in with the toxin nano particle called Covid. After Going to the Trump rally in Anchorage Alaska last Saturday, I woke up Tuesday feeling a little sore and weary. I could feel it getting worse by the minute. So, I thought eat something while you can, and I ate a light breakfast of Yoghurt, granola, and a banana. Within an hour I was in bed for the next 20 hours. These are the Symptoms I had. A sore lower back that made it hard to lay on my back, and a sore neck and head. It went straight up my spinal cord. I just drank a lot of water, and I did take one quercetin. By 4 pm I notice the back pain was gone. So, I knew I was getting better. By late night I was running to the bathroom every hour to get rid of the excess water which I kept drinking every time I awoke, every 45 minutes. Awoke for the last time at about 7;30 on Wednesday feeling pretty good. I was now functional. I have been eating light meals since then, and Have a few lingering effects, weariness. It was the flu without any mucus. Mike Adams reported last year that people going to the health and freedom shows were getting all kinds of strange illnesses, and the evil NWO lackies were dropping toxins on the masses at these events. I experienced this firsthand. My Covid was genetically altered nano particles. I am still not 100%. Hopefully, there will be no long-term effects from these toxins. Planting the toxins at big events keeps the fearmongering going.
I had a similar experience going to a George Strait concert in Nov. I suspect the shedding or releasing of particles, too. Pony paste cleared it up in less than 24 hours.
I think it is possible. But the way it attacked the spinal cord. I believe more that it is a biogenetically altered nanoparticle.
I’m 81 and take no prescriptions. Bigpharma- BAD.

I think that is what you mention above too – people recognize it and are trying to remedy it via pharma. A poor solution, but a signal of recognition of SNAFU.
So, the really drone-like populations, such as Korea, have much lower use (right now) because their people are so “mentally beat-down-to-conform”, that a much lower percentage recognize the unnatural state of things and take action via pharma.
The chart shows a direct relationship between pharma use and recognition of things being out of whack. The more recognition of an unnatural state of things by the general population, the more pharma use.
I have no psych experience, other than dealing with employees back in the day. It’s just a guess.
No, it’s because ‘muricans have been led to believe (thanks Hollyweird) that happiness is a tangible thing while simultaneously having lost the ability to deal with adversity. Throw in consumer debt, and a lack of work ethic, and it’s all a tasty recipe for depression that Big Pharma is happy to cater to.

It just confirms many suspicions that I’ve had. When you look someone in the eye and you’re trying to explain something to them and they’ve got that blank look like they aren’t even there, it tells you that you’re dealing with a drugged out zombie who isn’t in touch with reality.

I’ve read before that close to 30% of working age folks are on anti-depressants, in the US.
I thought it was too optimistic also. Working in a school setting, nearly most of the women were on these meds. Living in a liberal area, most married women were on these meds too…of course they were married to betas, so understandable that they needed drugs.
Most of the women in leftists households and in major liberal cities are on these meds.
Meds which are eventually going away because offshoring supply chain collapse Let’s Go Brandon!

If you have to travel for work, and you have regular chance to visit small towns, what you will likely note is that these decaying towns often have no remaining grocery store, the former downtown shopping district is boarded up and vacant, and the housing stock largely consists of dilapidated, rotting stick-built structures,
but nearly all of these towns have a recently constructed medical building or hospital, because this does not require any actual remaining local industry, it is funded entirely by Federal payments.
The last free ‘escape’ from the plundering and outsourcing that destroyed the town are the Medicare subsidized facility which is often the only major building project undertaken post-1970..
The medical facility subsisting off of these Federal funds is treating patients who are commonly 100 lbs overweight, subsisting on a diet of HFCS that is destroying them, but instead of recommending a nutritious diet (kind of hard when the nearest grocery store is in a town 40 miles away, and you make 10 bucks an hour at the local Sonic, since all local manufacturing was outsourced) the locals are pumped up with pain killers to get them through another day..
If only American citizens welfare got the same urgency and concern as Ukraine’s Neocon-installed government, but that would be too much to ask.
A hike in the mountains is the only antidepressant I need. Works every time.
A couple of hours at the beach works wonders. So does the lake, the pool, or a jaccuzzi.
Auntie finds that a massive heavy workout pumping iron precludes being depressed.
A few drinky-poos usually helps to take the edge off also. A doobie for many folks can be most therapeutic (depends on the individual for these substances.)
