I would really like someone to explain to me why we should allow people who are stupid as farm animals to vote? Should we not have some sort of minimum IQ to qualify to make decisions that affect all of us? Why should the vote of someone with an IQ of 50 who does not understand a single issue on the ballot, cancel out the vote of someone who is making educated choices based on research and actual knowledge of consequences of the vote?

Speaking of property aka real estate, something interesting I learned about mineral rights in Louisiana is , unlike Texas , in Louisiana when property sells the mineral rights are awarded to the most recent purchaser after 13 years of that individual(s) recorded “ownership” of the property. A friend that grew up in LA told me this.
In Texas mineral rights remain with someone going way back down the chain of any land conveyances passed through the years to future heirs not newer property purchasers unless negotiated. Not many if any pass mineral rights in a land deal of course.
The 16th, 17th and 19th amendments were the kiss of death to liberty in America. It took a couple generations, but those distortions of the fundamental building blocks of our government had more responsibility for where we are now than probably any singular bill outside the Hart-Celler Act.
Voting doesn’t matter but if it did then surely they want dumb people voting. Most people are automatons who only see and believe what their tv news tells them.
FWIW…zilch…I have a solution, but it’ll never happen because the Deep Capital would never allow voters to control their own government. It’s called voter reform and it’s the only way to save the Republic outside of full scale civil war.
1) Raise voting age to 35
2) Civic test , which also indicates literacy, must be passed.
3) Only the head of the household gets a vote. Spouses must choose.
4) No government employee, including military and police are allowed a vote.
5) No one receiving any type of government check, subsidy or aid is allowed a vote.
6) Electorates must vote in person.
It’s simple really. It’s eliminates the entitlement vote, the taxfeeder votes, the illiterate vote and allows for the mature vote. This would go a long way in saving our Republic, which is a pipe dream of mine, but demographics is destiny. C’est la vie
