The Displacement of Men by Women

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

The other day my Oxford college, Merton, dating from around 1250 AD, informed me that the female warden (president) of the college had been appointed Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University and that her replacement as head of Merton College would be another woman.

Somehow this is supposed to be joyous news to me.  But is is not. When I was a post-graduate, Merton College was an all-male college and had been for seven centuries.  Everything I remember about the experience is no more.

I have no opposition to the advancement of women.  But why was it necessary for a seven century old men’s college to become both co-ed and led by women when women had their own four Oxford colleges?

It wasn’t.  What was necessary was for a new, insubstantial, generation to piss all over tradition, because tradition represented a country that, along with its education,  was in the process of being deconstructed and remade to woke standards.  The male dons moved themselves aside as the result of their preference for virtue signaling over seven century old tradition.

The British with their open border to immigrant-invaders are no longer British. Just look at the new prime minister’s government.  It is hardly what my generation regarded as British.  The mayor of London is not an ethnic Britisher and neither, apparently, is the majority of the city’s population.  The ethnic British are being moved aside.

By 1986 every one of Oxford’s all-male colleges had become co-ed.  The four women’s colleges held out for twenty-two more years.  Today Oxford University has achieved what?

From promotional materials I receive from Oxford, it seems the university increasingly serves as entry into upper circles for women and people of color, and not as an education  for ethnic British.

Indeed, one wonders if real education exists anywhere at any level in the Western world which is far advanced in the process of rejecting itself.

Real education does not exist anymore. I went to one of the top boarding schools in the USA. I was disheartened but not surprised to learn that they now have a diversity dean. They have also endorsed the fraudulent Black Lives Matter movement. For a school that has helped to educate some great minds it is symbolic of our drive to commit national suicide that they are now going ‘woke.’ The future, for the moment, rests with self education an art that one must develop throughout one’s life. I would advise all young people to start with Joseph Campbell’s ‘The Power of Myth’ and then read everything you can that he has written and then his work will connect you with all the other persons, throughout history, who are great sources for learning. Learning what? How to live life well. How to perfect the art of living.

How to live life well. How to perfect the art of living.

That’s the ticket. A purposeful life, self-directed is the key to contentment, no matter the circumstances or misfortunes which may arise.

“Life has no meaning. Each of us has meaning and we bring it to life. It is a waste to be asking the question when you are the answer.”
― Joseph Campbell

“People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances with our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.”
― Joseph Campbell, The Power of Myth

All Female colleges are necessary as women learn differently than men
All Black colleges are necessary as black people learn differently than men

All male colleges are discriminatory.

One has to question if normal males, white, black and otherwise, are in fact superior to women and certain black skinned people. After all, they can learn anywhere, any place, and in any mix of sexes and skin colors.

Or, maybe normal people aren’t sexist or racist.

My HS was the Robert E Lee Generals producing good citizens and some scholars; after much civic debate, Jacksonville Fl converted it at great cost to the Riverside Blacks producing moronic scofflaws. I went to FSU and now refuse to contribute to it. The Leftist double speak expropriated the word “woke” just like they did “gay”; good is become evil and evil good. ZOG intends evil for the Goy but God is fixing to turn evil inside out and that is gonna hurt’em like a SOB forever . If you want any help Lord, send me. Amen.

Robert,

I was an AJ Tiger (probably around the same time) and matriculated
to W&L before they went co-ed and woke…….despite constant begging
from them I refuse to send them any dough for the same reason…….
