While thank goodness they didn’t defund the police in my city, but they DID defund the park rangers which were doing an OK job sort of with the homeless in the park thingy.
Result: 250 homeless tent camp in San Lorenzo park for the last 2+ years, several murders, open drug use, toxic poop dump going into the river. Interestingly on state property there are no homeless, because the sheriffs don’t have to take that shit like cities do (Martin vs Boise).
Remember that the Demo-rats referred to the arson / looting / riots in Portland as “Reparations”.
