ATV’s are a way of life here. I’ve never owned one, don’t care to. When I check fences I’m likely more healthy walking than the typical fat slob around these parts that cannot check the danged mail box without riding 200 feet on the ATV.
I suppose an ATV can be “street legal”, at least here. My understanding if used “agriculturally” it must have an orange safety flag on an orange fiberglass “flagpole” attached to the ATV. The color of the flag and design of the “flagpole” may vary. County roads are used often by ATVs.
I don’t think the ATV is “legal” regardless the agriculture if traversing a driving lane of a state highway. Recently while driving a state highway where parts of it are four lane designs for passing, for the first time I saw a state trooper conducting a “traffic stop” on an ATV rider. Just guessing the operator was in a driving lane. Even on a state highway I believe it’s ok as long as one is off the pavement and on the grass. 🙂

I see you’re also a fan of the cross draw holster. I like the Bond derringer, but these days I carry a 1911A1 full size 8+1…with two spare mags.

I carry the Bond mostly for snakes on my farm…and as a backup while driving. Unlikely target for a jacking driving two 22 year old beaters. My usual concealed carry is a 9mm SIG 365 with the extended 12 round mag for the pinky finger, I love this handgun. I always have two spare mags on my belt…and two spare mags in the glove box.
I started open carry when the mask mandates hit with the SIG or my Colt Commander Lightweight .45. Occasionally with my Dan Wesson .357, 4 inch barrel…red leather cross draw holster – a real LEAVE ME ALONE attention getter. Old school gun men will occasionally start up a conversation over it.
