The claim is now everywhere: we had to lock down because we just didn’t know about this virus. It was all very confusing and we had to play it safe. We had no other option because we just had no clarity about what we were dealing with. The precautionary principle dictated the unprecedented actions.
Actually, the precautionary principle goes both directions. It also dictates that we not enact policies that we know for sure would wreck lives and liberties. They did it anyway, without sufficient knowledge that the measures would achieve any positive good.
We approach the third year and people have forgotten that all the harms of lockdowns were strongly warned about by many voices in many venues. In addition, the virus was much better understood back then and openly discussed. We knew for certain that the panic and fear were being wildly overblown.
Below follows resources assembled by the ‘Robber Baron‘ and many others who write for the Brownstone Institute. These citations from newspapers, magazines, academic journals and interviews, with many respected voices, show that we certainly knew tremendous amounts in the early days. All the warnings and information were readily available to anyone paying attention.
We certainly live in an age of short attention span but many these signs and warnings came weeks or months before the world locked down and they chronicled the damage as it was happening. Why all this came to be completely ignored remains the burning question.

The way this was done looks like they knew all they needed to know-the virus is bad for a very few. But…they needed maximum adoption of the vaxxine so they made it sound bad and overstated the danger for the public to coerce them into adoption of same. “Lockdown” is a term for a form of control penal institutions use. It was never used in a medical/pandemic setting before.

Came across a T-shirt at the thrift store last weekend that said “Vaccinated – 2020”.
Those shirts must be rare collector’s items, because, weren’t most people only eligible to get vaccinated until the spring of 2021?
Maybe the original owner the the T-shirt died and that’s how it was donated to the thrift store when the relatives cleaned out the house?
Alternatively, maybe even he is embarrassed to wear that shirt nowadays?
I briefly considered buying it and writing “Un” on top of it, but, instead, I opted for a T-shirt with the American flag on it and the words “Home of the brave”, although, to be honest, that appears to be untrue, too.
Mostly those in the medical field and the test subjects were the only ones who got the jab in ’20. A Bible study partner was part of the test group for the vaxx. Have not seen him or heard anything about him since convid started and he has not responded to either of my texts.

The correct designation is “HIPAA”, for the:
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996,
which only came into effect in, IIRC, 2006. I remember, there was a long fuse on that one. What seemed like a good law, at first blush (and it does have some good parts), turned out, in my honest legal opinion (licensed then in CA, now retired from law and from CA), to be nothing more than an isolation metric that allowed wives to hide things from husbands, and minor kids (ie-teenagers) to hide things (abortions? the Pill?) from parents.
But it DID stop employers from asking about your health, right???

This is why I harp on the exposure of lies. It isn’t that any one falsehood is catastrophic, it is that such large portions of the population are incapable of recognizing the tells of someone who is perfidious and their lack of discernment because of that ignorance. Liars may tell the truth when it serves their purposes, but good sense tells you that once you have identified someone who tells a lie, then you no longer place any trust in their words thereafter. For some reason the forgive and forget instinct appears far more powerful than the fool me once/fool me twice trait.
I don’t know what the entire Covid-19 theater was about, but I knew from day one that we were being lied to because I had long ago learned to sniff out a lie and I could see the lockstep co-ordination of a massive number of proven storytellers all working the same narrative. I also understood the principle that best way to avoid getting sick is to practice a healthy lifestyle, while the same people pumping this fairytale were trying to do everything they could to channel people into unhealthy behaviors. Stay indoors, keep fast food joints open, keeping people physically apart, maintaining a high level of anxiety, closing gyms, isolation, forcing them to rebreathe expelled air, forbidding alternative treatments, etc. None of those behaviors ever made any sense except to make more people more vulnerable to illness.
The precautionary principle is nice and fine -Nassim Taleb is a big proponent-, but if half a year after the start of an exponentially spreading virus there are still no piles of bodies on the street anywhere, including mostly non-locked down Africa, it is clear the projected danger was massively overblown.
So everything after autumn 2020 cannot be justified by a precautionary principle anymore.
There were three populations that I said would experience the overwhelming number of cases from day one; prisoners, homeless and Africans.
When the death counts failed to materialize for those populations in the early part of the fraud, it was proof positive that this was a lie.
I should have added, that it became clear to me pretty quickly at the beginning of the pandemic that the numbers were either fudged and/or the real data simply suppressed.
Knowing they are fudged, I felt (and feel) it is not a safe practice to presume anything about in which direction the fudging is done (i.e. downplaying or exaggerating?), so I looked for places where a consistent massaging is unlikely to occur. Africa perfectly fit the bill.
(Homeless would also have worked, if I’d had direct knowledge / informal contact with such people – but I don’t.)

The payoff for me was when a French general recently stated if you want to know the most courageous people in the world find the unvacced. Exactly.
I was against the vax from day 1, as I am against most vaxxes. My wife’s granddaughter almost talked her into getting it, but on the trip home I reminded her that it was still an experimental medicine and we did not know the long term effects it might have on our bodies. By the time we got home, she was back on the pureblood side where we remain today.

I’m in Italy, and they (ie-govt) are still (!!!) demanding that I get their “vaccine”, which ain’t gonna happen, not now, not later. I have ten days to show proof, starting about nine days ago. If they can show me the ‘long-term effects’ in, maybe, 15 years, then I MIGHT (or MIGHT NOT) make up my mind to take the jab at that time, but not sooner. If they get nasty then I’ll just leave Italy and return to the US, though not to CA; I’m done with the commies here and there.
