While I agree that fathers are important; This goes beyond a missing father and is cultural. Blacks are being taught to be victims and act like this by their parent(s) and any deviation is demonized as ‘acting white’.

Haghillary said it best……….”It takes a village to raise them chillins” !

Judging from the comments here, most of you know very little about or refuse to see the rampant social engineering taking place in this country. Let’s forget about the white slavery that existed during Colonial times or Black slavery and Jim Crow for the moment, in the 1960’s the US government passed historic Civil Rights and voting rights laws that on the surface did away with legislative and judicial apartheid, but the economic opportunities were not that good and the economy was volatile for everyone except the super rich.
Keep in mind states relaxed divorce laws in the early 70’s and 80’s which also impacted white families and communities. The Catholic Church did an about face on divorce hence the low number of marriages that survive in all communities today! After the riots that devastated many urban communities and the resulting flight from cities by people, capital and industry, opportunities really declined for working class people regardless of color and ethnicity.
We are witnessing and experiencing the results of polices that promoted “Globalism” that destroyed the US industrial base, that has devastated white communities and lowered the white standard of living. The government changed the criterion for welfare and Aid to Dependent Children essentially forcing healthy fully functioning males out of the home. This was crucial to the destruction of all families not just Blacks. The family has been under attack for decades.
Despite the slim economic gains during the 1960’s and 70’s most Blacks were still in poverty. Despite the ubiquitous “reality shows” that depict “affluent Blacks” engaged in decadent maladaptive behaviors, most Blacks are still in poverty.
Black communities were extensively targeted for drug importation often by a nexus of the US government and organized crime. Crime was glamorized in the media and Blacks fell for the okey-doke. Real Black leaders were assassinated, coopted and marginalized by a nation wide FBI’s COINTELPRO agenda. (Just like Obama did to the Occupy Wall Street Movement only almost none of the white organizers were killed or imprisoned.)
The War on Drugs expanded the US prison population, in reality it was a replay of the Post Reconstruction convict leasing system.
In the 80’s crack was introduced and the fetal alcohol and fetal drug syndromes took a heavy toll on Black babies and what was left of the family. The crack babies are now grown up, in their forties having children often out of wedlock! The organic damage to their brains from the drugs, a negative social environment and the vile music, videos and other “cultural” vehicles plus the victim mentality foisted on us by hustlers and con artists are the reasons for what we see today.
BTW we are seeing these same values: something for nothing, get rich quick, greed, avarice, and nihilism taking down the US too. As my mother told me when you point an accusatory finger at someone, you have three pointing back at you. “Take the plank out of your own eye” before ou tell me how to take the speck out of mine. Take a good look at yourselves, look in the mirror, look at the rampant immorality, depravity and debauchery metastasizing throughout this country, it’s not just Black people. We are the microcosm, the canaries in the mine for this country; wake up before its too late for you!
