Everyone is asking the question: Why can’t people see the obvious? Why can’t people believe what is going on and stand up and do something about it?
And we have heard a lot of possibilities in response, from mass psychosis to 5G affecting the brain, to totalitarian brainwashing, to raw fear of death and illness, to the loss of critical thinking skills.
All, or most of these things may certainly be in place, but this is possibly not a “one reason” answer to the question. I for one have seen people utterly terrified of the “virus,” as well as people not at all afraid of the disease, but with no interest in going against authority in a stable and structured culture (so they think).
I’ve seen people who have no clue there is any resistance to the mandates and if there is, it is coming from hillbillies living out of touch with reality. Even the “New World” Google definition of “psychosis” includes an example:
[psychotic people] may be worried that the government is trying to harm them and their loved ones.”
That includes you and me, folks. Welcome to the loony bin.
I saw a post from a long-time Facebook friend the other day: “Well, it finally got me, after 3 years staying indoors and away from people, two Covid vaccines and three boosters, I finally got Covid. It is horrible! I can’t stop coughing, I have a fever, and every time I swallow I feel like I am swallowing glass.”
The post is followed with dozens of sympathetic responses: “Got it too! Hang in there!” “Prayers for you, five shots later I have the same thing.” On and on.
What is it with these people? Have they REALLY not heard at least a rumour that the vaccines MIGHT be unsafe, MIGHT not be effective? Really?
I sincerely can’t answer that question. Maybe they really haven’t heard even a rumour of truth, which opens up a whole new discussion. And then if they have heard something why hasn’t it at least gotten them curious, or cautious, at least a little bit?
And you would think that if this person were proudly exclaiming their misfortune in getting whacked with the bug after being so careful to do everything to avoid it, they would put two and two together and not be so proud of their ineffable stupidity.
I almost posted my flippant response: “Well, thank god you got all those shots!” But I refrained because I knew the irony of my comment would be lost, eliciting the reply, “I know!! I would probably be dead if I hadn’t!!” They can ALWAYS say that…ignoring completely that everyone on that side of the hill said, from day one, “You will not get Covid if you take these shots.”
“Oh, oh, oh…that’s ok they said that, they just didn’t know. You know, they didn’t know EVERYTHING about the shots, they had to move so fast to save humanity,” so say the little lambs.
How come if they readily make that as an excuse when it comes to efficacy, why can’t they present that same explanation regarding the purported safety of the vaccine? “Oh, I know thousands are dying, but, you know, they didn’t know EVERYTHING about the shots at first…blah, blah, blah, baa, baa, baa” Selective logic.
Maybe it is because they have not died, or been horribly compromised, other than the “not so bad” glass shards in their throat and suffering a 104 temperature for a week. “At least I’m not dead.” I wonder if when they actually DO die from the vaccine-induced failure of their immune system, they will say, right before their last breath, “Well, at least I didn’t die of COVID…dying from the vaccine is just the price we have to pay to keep from dying of this wicked virus.”
I met a guy the other day who told me he contracted Bell’s palsy right after taking the fourth jab. He treated it like you would treat a sore arm after a shot. “Oh, that’s nothing.” Really? “At least I didn’t die.” And why would that even be an acceptable possibility after taking a vaccine for something (Covid) that would probably be less invasive than Bell’s palsy? What weird logic reasoning, “spooky science.”
More than likely these people are embarrassed to admit their decisions were totally ludicrous and irrational. They have to make up some reason for their actions. “Oh, I drank that glass of arsenic that burned out my stomach lining and put me on my death bed (only a few more hours to live!), because I had some parasites in my stomach. Those bastards are dead for sure, at least I didn’t die from THAT.”
Although this may be a possibility, it would have to be an unconscious realization. And it would have to be dependent on the supposition that at least their unconscious was aware of the truth. I never get the impression that people’s egos are so big that they have to consciously make up a story to save face. It may come to that for some people. But right now I really do not think the realization that they are fools is conscious.
People are always making stuff up to rationalize their irrationality in making stupid decisions. Many people make up stuff to keep themselves from looking stupid, or feeling stupid. The key here is that these rationalizations are compelled unconsciously.
Otherwise we (those of us who do this) would be liars. And most people are not chronic liars (I might be an unconscious liar at times, but I don’t think I am too often a conscious one). As for this Covid stuff, the unconscious reason to make up stories that fit our actions could be largely to avoid an inconvenience.
Most people who do this probably are mortified (unconsciously at the moment) they have done something so preposterously stupid as to allow an injection into their body for no good reason (and honestly, there never was a good reason). I do think when the truth really hits the mainstream they will get angry and blame everyone who was lying to them, maybe not, but if they do, this will be horribly inconvenient.
They will then have to scream and yell at everyone responsible, politicians, doctors, friends and family, etc. That’s a lot of work and a lot of energy. Since this awareness is not wholly conscious yet, why not just go along with it all (the illusion). Accept SOME inconveniences like a bad case of SOMETHING causing symptoms—what they conveniently call Covid, or the flu, or whatever else it might be.
Another inconvenient truth they would have to accept is that all us “anti-vaxxers” were right, and all their sheep friends were wrong. That is very inconvenient.
Their whole world will come crashing down, and that is the most inconvenient event imaginable. Much easier to just continue to play along, until there is no choice but to accept the truth, which is for the most part pretty dark, and, of course, quite inconvenient.
It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. My take is this mass psychosis is a case of world views. To admit that everything about Covid was fake is tantamount to admitting the government has been lying for decades. It is to admit medical science has no idea what its doing, that the monetary policy is a game of Russian roulette, and that crazy people hold the nuclear codes. I have family members who just cannot accept any of that, therefore they won’t even start pulling on the thread.
Because where would it all lead?

My take is this was only made possible by extreme amounts of narcissism in [Western] societies.
When -as a narcissist- you’d admit that you were entirely wrong on something, you’d basically dismantle your (self-defined) ‘meaning if life’ completely. (And as most people never in their life lived through such an experience, and came out stronger after weeks/months by honest self-reflection, they cannot imagine taking that path.)
I’m with you. It’s very disheartening. Luckily my wife, my kids and their family’s not vaxxed but Granddaughter’s boy friend is. I only hope that he by some miracle is lucky as I’m not sure how the granddaughter would survive emotionally. I think for the most part the folk’s that are going to get jabbed have already done it so no use talking with them as damage done. I only pray for their children who will be next to be jabbed.
The Covid stupids have taken all the enjoyment out life.
Why you ask?
Because my whole Family is vaxxed and I just consider it mass slow suicide, and I pleaded with them, DON’T! (my adult children and spouses most unlikely to see age 50).
(my Wife is not vaxxed, yet I get no credit for what I saved her from – her whole Family vaxxed, she warned no one)……………..marriage hangs by a thread.
This leaves me all alone on an Island………………………to contemplate why the H am I hear anyway?

The reason I write here and nowhere else is becauseI know that I am in good company- most of the contributors are already on the same page about speaking freely even though we may disagree on a host of topics. Those ground rules are what make it possible to at least have someplace to express an honest opinion without having to worry about hurting people’s feelings or offending their sensibilities. I would never have these kinds of conversations out in the open world because I understand that the majority of people simply cannot process frank discussions about anything without feeling threatened or triggered and the likelihood of them understanding is nil. That’s just where we are right now.
That being said, we have all made mistakes in our lives when it comes to our safety and health; poor judgement, irrational acts, and risky behaviors for minimal rewards. Most of them occur during youth when we have neither the maturity nor the impulse control to resist the temptation. Maturity occurs when we recognize the patterns over time and begin to take responsibility for our actions and accept the outcomes of our decisions.
I wish there was a formula for diserning what leads some people to wisdom and why others seem impervious. It’s most likely a mix of genetics, rearing, experience and our personal risk/reward drives that are inherent from birth. I do know that if you become purposeful in your actions- to really think things through prior to doing whatever you plan on and listen to your conscience or gut or whatever you prefer to call it, the odds alter dramatically in your favor. This is still no guarantee of outcome because there are still so many other factors outside of our control no matter how meticulously you may plan.
I feel a great deal more sympathy for those who are unablle or incapable of making decisions for themselves and a deep hostility towards those who capitalize on them. While I don’t know of anyone who has died from the mRNA shots, I do know a sizeable number of people who were previously healthy and fit who have suffered serious ill health since taking the shots, from massive blood clots and heart attacks to auto-immune disorders and aggressive cancer. Maybe these are coincidences but I have a hunch that there is a connection. I think it cruel to rub their nose in it and if anything this is a time for us to show forebearance and compassion. There but for the grace of God…
It is a strange time to be alive and the opportunity to learn from these bizzarre circumstances of late may have benefit long term that we have yet to discern. I trust in God and His plan more now than ever and understand that pain, loss and suffering are integral to our humanity no matter the pain and unhappiness we may endure, for we see though a glass, darkly.
Be kind to them, support them, set the best example that you can and never for an instant think that you are immune from the same kinds of human folly.

I’m neither a preacher nor a proselytizer so I can’t help you along that path, it’s above my pay grade. You are either aware of the presence of the Creator or you aren’t. I’ve been in both camps so I understand fully if you can’t apprehend it.
The plan is much easier to perceive. We live in a closed system, something both believers and atheists concede and within that closed system their is a balance that never fails. Life regenerates itself without our involvement, your heart beats without your having to think about it, there is an equal measure of creation and decay. That is what I would call a plan. If you don’t see that then this isn’t a conversation you should be invested in.

For too many generations, the institutions have demanded compliance and there are too many people who never stop to question Why? I have always been a contrarian, even back to my days in elementary school and by the time I got to college, it had been evolved into my persona. Now, in my old age, I can see that it was one of the best self defense mechanisms I could ever have developed.

Another term for that is skepticism. I, unfortunately, did not come around to that view until late in life. My mantra now is “question everything and everyone”. The unfortunate thing is that our education system instead promotes conformity and group think.

My wife has always been a conformist, but on the clot shot, she listened as I put it in the simplest terms I knew – “this shot has not been tested and nobody knows the long term health effects it might have”. I had help from Big Pharma and their non-stop advertising where 20% of the ad contains the possible side effects of every single drug they promote.
I no longer waste any time whatsoever trying to convince people about the jabs. Everyone has chosen their camp. Screw them.

The thing that makes me crazy when people who have gotten every jab and booster end up sick they say to you “If I hadn’t taken all the vaccines the Covid would have been so much worse “. I always ask them how can you quantify that, they just respond “well that’s what they say”. Wow and people have the nerve to make fun of ” Conspiracy Theory ” belivers.
People are herd animals- they are given a certain Overton window to believe to be part of any group and they dare not go outside that window or risk being banned from the group. The windows can change over time. My grandparents could be democrats and Christian and the dichotomy was not great – now the gulf is pretty wide and a choice may need to be made to go with one group of the other.
How does a vaxxed join the unvaxxed group? It’s beyond just ideas, they are literally a different kind of being that they can’t change.

Belief versus reason. A hidden embarrassment of those without spiritual beliefs is their adoption of temporal institutions and mores as substitutes. They feel shame sensing their belief in such things having rejected belief as a primitive manifestation of ignorance. They are a very difficult bunch.
I was in a room full of college educated professionals on Christmas. All jabbed. None of them had any idea that people were dying from the jabs. Mention it and they look at you like you’re some kind of deranged weirdo. They all keep getting sick with “covid” and have no clue why. Why are they like this? They believe people in white coats are second to GOD and would never steer them wrong.
