Nordstream 2: Seymour Hersh feeds the fake binary

Guest Post by Kit Knightly

Back in October 2022, when the Nordstream 2 sabotage was first hitting the headlines, I predicted the following:

The “official story” will never prove who bombed the pipeline one way or the other and is not intended to. Resolution is not desired. Instead, Team A will encourage us to blame Team B, and vice versa. The MSM will report evidence implicating Russia, while other evidence suggesting NATO were responsible will be “leaked”. Both narratives will be fed just enough to keep the argument going for as long as required and in any direction chosen.”

Fast forward to now, and the big story over the last couple of days – at least in alternate media circles – has been Seymour Hersh’s publication of a new article for the first time in quite a while.

The article, based entirely on “leaked” information from one anonymous “insider” source, claims that the United States military sabotaged the Nordstream 2 pipeline, and had been planning to do it since before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Forgive me but, how is this news?

After all, Joe Biden said “if Russia invades, there will be no Nordstream 2”. Victoria Nuland, speaking more plainly, stated on January 27th:

If Russia invades Ukraine, one way or another, Nord Stream 2 will not move forward.”

The phrase “one way or another” is barely ambiguous there. Obviously, if the pipe was sabotaged, the Americans did it. That was never in question, really.

But that’s the real question isn’t? Was the pipe sabotaged?

Sure, both sides say the pipe was sabotaged. But both sides said Covid was a real threat, and both sides said masks worked, and both sides said their vaccines were safe.

All they’ve done, for the past 3 years, is lie. About everything. Most importantly, both sides have told the exact same lies.

So, why should we go back to reporting the news on their terms?

Let’s have a reality check, shall we? Here’s what we actually know about the Nordstream 2 situation:

  • It is not currently transporting gas.
  • The “sabotage” has driven up the cost of energy all across Europe.
  • Reducing the use and increasing the cost of fossil fuels is a major part of the “Great Reset” agenda.
  • Both NATO and Russia are willful participants in that agenda.

That’s it. That’s all we know. Based on that, we can’t rule out the possibility Nordstream 2 was “sabotaged” in full agreement from both sides.

We don’t even know it was “sabotaged” at all. Because all we’ve been allowed to see is some bubbles. An image you could create in a few seconds by going to OpenArt and typing “bubbles on surface of ocean”.

Whatever actually happened, all we know is that it’s off, and our gas is more expensive. Again.

Hersh’s story seems to be an exercise in a special kind of journalism – telling people what they already know, or suspect, under the guise of providing new information.

“Revelations” from “former” insiders that actually reinforce the underlying assumptions of the mainstream narrative by supplying a controlled “alternative” point of view.

The official mainstream position is that Russia blew up their own pipeline. There is no evidence to support this, it is simply stated.

Now, Hersh has supplied the official alternative position – that the US did it – with a narrative of their own. There is no evidence to support this counter-narrative either, it is likewise simply stated.

Say it with me: It’s a fake binary. One I actually exactly predicted back in October.

Two apparently conflicting faith-based positions, both built on scant drip-fed evidence and both selling the same line: That the “sabotage” of Nordstream 2 was the result of international conflicts which accidentally furthered the great reset agenda.

But given what we’ve all seen over the last three years, isn’t the alternative more likely? That it was an act designed to further the great reset, camouflaged behind potentially performative international conflict?

Arguing over whether Putin or Biden blew up Nordstream 2 is living in a fake reality built on false assumptions supplied by proven liars.

The one silver lining of Covid is that it forced so many people to wake up and live in the real world. Let’s go back there, shall we?

A subsidiary of Davos done did it.

All roads lead to depop/Davos.

They already destroyed the Georgia Guidestones. The loooove their rites and symbols. They done cast their poison upon the fishes and salted the soil with vinyl chloride and released noxious fire in the sky with phosgene.

It’s all very Revelations, and I’m not even a believer. But something’s going on. Soon, E.T./alien invasion of second coming will be staged all over the globe with the same DARPA tech that made humanity “see” planes hit on 9/11.

It could as well be turned off. The author clearly implied as much. If it was actually damaged is not known. It may have been burped. He said he thought it was everyone , like the Orient Express. Follow the money. The smart move would be to not damage expensive equipment, just turn a valve and you can turn it back on later.

Excellent perception and deduction. The obvious conclusion was that the U S was behind the sabotage. If it is ‘obvious’ then THEY want our buy-in. I’ll admit to having been sucked in at first but I had my doubts once I heard Hersh’s interview with Russel Brand. He is a stalking horse. As I mentioned yesterday Putin and Kissinger are asshole buddies. That speaks volumes.

One item that is always forgotten is that there is NO reduction in gas flow to Naziland from Russia since the explosion. The Nord 2 never was opened if you will remember. The Nord 1 can still pump and is pumping gas as before since it was not blown up. I wonder why. Maybe to disguise higher prices to make solar panels relevant or to disguise that the coal system is necessary for industrial use for their economy from the green clowns?

…it was an act designed to further the great reset, camouflaged behind potentially performative international conflict?

Evidence would suggest that this is the most likely scenario.

Americans and most of those who consider themselves to be a part of the West are divorced from the natural world. They live primarily inside houses, work inside buildings, live in urban or suburban areas and the only time they interact with the reality of the outdoors is on vacation, certainly not enough time to perceive the myriad truths that unspool before your eyes daily if you live in accordance with the seasons and the weather. These are great teachers and if you pay close attention to the lessons, you lose the trappings of manifest realities and start to see the world as it is, rather than as you imagine ot to be.

In order to understand human beings fully, it is paramount to examine their behaviors, not their narratives. Our justice system is quite literally built upon a mountain of useless conjecture we call motive. Motives may help during the investigatory portion of a criminal indictment, but once you knoow who did something, it matters not at all. If someone kills your family because they want to help them go to heaven, does that make it exculpatory?

And so we wind up looking at these events through the lens of the narrative- Russia v. NATO- and the motives that can only exist in that scenario- we did it to push European allies into our camp and make money off of our sales of gas to them, they did it to make us look like we did it. The reality is that Europe has less NatGas, and the whole of society- absent those running the show, of course- suffers. Looking at the result one would far more likely conclude that the purpose was to harm and indebt the populations while giving greater power to those in positions of authority.

The longer this thing goes on, the more obvious it becomes that this is a well coordinated plan between elites who are actively waging a war against the peoples of the Western World. And as long as both sides continue to conceal the real lies- nuclear weapons and space travel- the more we suffer by accepting only the narratives that they offer us. How is it possible that someone as untrained as I am is able to at least ask this question when not one single person in all of journalism has ever even suggested the possibility? That seems far more improbable than anything I might suggest because it is a question one would have to consider looking at the evidence, even if it proves to be wrong. The fact that it has never been mentioned only makes it that much more likely, especially knowing now what we do about media collusion with government.

I usually agree with Knightley’s arguments, but not in this case. I’m as cynical as they come, but even I don’t question that the pipelines were exploded, and that the US and its NATO puppets were to blame. The Hersh story is important because he is probably the most trusted journalist for this sort of revelation given his virtually infallible record on major stories. In short, Knightley’s arguments are nonsense, IMO.

Based on the history Hersh has in reporting I thought it was a slam dunk “we” did it.
After his interview with R. Brand, Hersh came off as a bit weird. He seemed too full of himself, cocky and kinda of an unusual character. Certainly not the hard nosed, stoic reporter I figured him to be.
In this friggin world ANYTHING is possible. That’s the only thing I’m sure of anymore.

Plausible deniability means flavoring every lie with 10% real truthiness. Overall, the odds are that the offered official story is toxic manure for noxious weeds.

This world is said to belong to The Father of Lies; ergo, err on the side of caution.

Biden Confesses Nord Stream Terror Attack Again in Warsaw: “We Mobilized to Reduce Dependence on Russian Energy”

“Putin thought he could use energy as a weapon. But no. We mobilized and reduced our dependence on Russian energy resources,” Biden said in Warsaw.

Since the publication of Seymour Hersh’s bombshell report on the purported US attack on the Nord Stream pipeline, the White House has been busy calling the report “totally false” and downplaying previous statements by top Biden officials saying the USA would “end” the Nord Stream pipeline.

Apparently, Slow Joe didn’t get the memo. Or he forgot again.

Regardless of real vs fake, mission accomplished….

Germany will do most of the work this year to prepare its power market for greater reliance on renewable supplies by the end of the decade, Economy Minister Robert Habeck said on Monday.

Habeck aims to overhaul the 550 terawatt hours a year (TWh) market as demand increases and production shifts to more intermittent sources as Europe’s biggest economy moves away from fossil fuels under its climate commitments.

Berlin’s goal is to generate 80% of electricity from wind and the sun by 2030, a target that has become more pressing since the drop in Russian fossil fuel exports to Germany last year.

Follow the money, the gas is the pipe line was worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Empy the pipelines from the German end, fake a picture of some bubbles on the sea, claim there was an explosion, sell the gas for profit. Russia would still be pissed at the theft, but would likely play along for political gain.

Playing devil’s advocate: this is similar logic I’m using for the Palestine Ohio chemical spill. It doesn’t matter who was “at fault” or what the officially accepted story is. The important part is the result itself, which could have been orchestrated, or could have been just chance.

A few years back on the forums, a very popular maxim was “pics or it didn’t happen.” I tend to believe Nord 2 was taken out, because it fits the bigger picture of US Dollar hegemony. But as you say, waiting on the proof.
