Well now, incase you have not figured it out yet, we lost the country. The complete unwind of the financial system and the sudden death of the $ is closing in now.
This bank run won’t be allowed and all the lost money will be printed by the FED to keep the system going.
This could the big one, a magnitude 10, that will bring on somewhat sudden hyperinflation. If it isn’t the big one, it is the foreshock.
ALL the banks are in serious trouble. The unrealized losses in the bond market thanks to the raising rates are unbelievable. The losses in mortgage backed securities as houses decline in value will be in the $trillions.
When you deposit your money in the bank, it is no longer your money, it is their money. When they lose it, it goes to money heaven where you can always think about it and even talk to it but it is gone forever.
When a bank fails and corporations have all the money they use for payroll go to money heaven, they don’t send out paychecks. Those employees don’t pay their mortgages, other banks come up short. and the death spiral accelerates.
This process should be allowed to happen in a free market society but this is a false prosperity society that lives to see another day by printing money. Hyperinflation is the result.
Everyone that is now wealthy with the $ as their store of value will become poor. Pension funds and social security checks are on their way to money heaven where you will always be able to dream about how great they were.
NOW get off your ass and go to work because production is the only real asset you have left. Everything else is bullshit.
