CDC Warns Of Dangerous Fungal Infection Spreading Through US At ‘Alarming Rate’

Authored by Katabella Roberts via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours),

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is warning of an increasingly drug-resistant emerging fungus that the health agency says presents a “serious global health threat.”

This undated photo made available by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows a strain of Candida auris cultured in a petri dish at a CDC laboratory. (The Canadian Press/Shawn Lockhart-CDC via AP)

Candida auris is a rare fungal disease that is easily spread through contact with contaminated surfaces or from person-to-person and can cause severe illness in hospitalized patients and those with weakened immune systems, according to health officials.

In some rare cases, the yeast can enter the bloodstream of patients and spread throughout the body, causing serious invasive candidiasis infections, which can affect the blood, heart, brain, eyes, bones, and other parts of the body and can prove fatal.

Data from a limited number of patents shows that 30 to 60 percent of people diagnosed with the fungal disease have died. However, healthy people typically do not get sick from the fungal disease.

The CDC said it is concerned about Candida auris for three main reasons: it is often multidrug-resistant, it is hard to identify using standard laboratory methods, and it has rapidly caused outbreaks in health care settings.

Additionally, individuals who have been hospitalized in health care facilities for long periods of time—especially those who have breathing tubes, feeding tubes, and central venous catheters going into their bodies—appear to be at the highest risk of contracting Candida auris.

Other risk factors are generally similar to risk factors for other types of Candida infections and include recent surgery, diabetes, and recent use of antibiotics or antifungal medications, initial data shows.

CDC Data Shows Rise in Cases

Infections of Candida auris, also referred to as C. auris, have been found in patients of all ages, from preterm infants to the elderly, health officials say.

According to CDC data, the drug-resistant fungus, which was first detected in the United States in 2016, has been spreading “at an alarming rate” among hospitalized patients in recent years, with clinical cases of the fungus nearly doubling in 2021 and continuing to rise in 2022.

There were at least 2,377 confirmed clinical cases of Candida auris in the United States in 2022, according to CDC statistics, up from 1,474 cases in 2021 and 757 cases in 2020.

Data shows the fungal disease is now present in more than half of U.S. states.

Separate data from the CDC published in the Annals of Internal Medicine on March 20 also found that screening cases—in which the fungus is detected but is not causing infection—tripled from 2020 to 2021, from 1,310 to 4,041 cases.

The CDC has said it is concerned with the tripling in 2021 of the number of cases that were resistant to echinocandins, antifungal drugs that are typically the first line of treatment for Candida auris.

CDC officials said in a press release that the number of Candida auris cases may have risen for multiple reasons, including poor general infection prevention and control practices in health care facilities, although enhanced efforts to detect cases may have also contributed to the rise.

“The timing of this increase and findings from public health investigations suggest C. auris spread may have worsened due to strain on healthcare and public health systems during the COVID-19 pandemic,” CDC officials added.

So now we are supposed to be afraid of simple infections? Yikes.

This sounds like something we need to require on Tindr profiles, like “covid vaccination” status and political affiliation.

Ladies, if for some reason you find yourself in the hospital and they are going to use a catheter. Please buy yourself a silver coated one. You don’t want a bladder infection from the hospital. And you don’t want to take Vancomycin. Laugh at me all you want, tell me it is hype, but just buy one to have ready just in case. The hospital will never buy one that is silver coated, but it is very important not to throw another complication on top of what landed you in the hospital in the first place. Also as women age they have a problem voiding the bladder. Try after going to the bathroom to wait a minute or two, then piss again. You will be surprised how much was still there. If you don’t void the bladder your chances of infection go up big time. Plus make sure if you get chicken from the grocery store to cook it thoroughly. The chicken can pass this infection on, especially if the chickens have been pumped full of antibiotics. They may already be carrying an antibiotic resistant infection. Wash your hands etc. Practice good hygiene, everywhere. I know we don’t trust the CDC, but having been thru this infection with my patient three times (approx. 10 yrs, 8 yrs, 2 yrs, ago) I can tell you it is a real problem, not a panic, but a reality many women face. As I said previously, sometimes normal symptoms do not present. You can test negative on blood and urine tests, and still have an infection. No smell, or discharge, or any physical symptoms. The only symptom you may find is the Cytokines, look up Cytokine Storm, you won’t notice other than perhaps some brain fog, but others around you will notice that you appear senile. For the Peeps around you: You may notice the person slowly develops this symptom over a few weeks. So it isn’t an overnight type of thing. It happens very gradually and is easy to dismiss as they are going crazy. Then after a few weeks unchecked, they may complain of joint and bone pain and weakness. This means the infection has spread to the blood. Bacteremia/Septicemia can develop. That is serious, super serious. At this point the infection will show up on a blood test, but your chances of survival are really really low. Not hype not a joke but reality. I think they are seeing this more, as the jabbers immune system cannot stay robust enough to stay on top of it.

The hospitals are using Pure Wicks instead of catheters, now. Women can take a teaspoon of D-mannose daily to help avoid getting bladder infections. It dissolves in water and is slightly sweet tasting.

Look up the safety precautions and follow them. Don’t be my non chemical educated former distant relative.

i have never used the salt but vinegar & dishwashing liquid or baby shampoo do work most of the time —
just a small amount of the soap is all you need —
the vinegar alone will not stick to the plant surface long enough to start the killing process, thus the need 4 the sticky type soap —

Nicotinamide aka Niacinamide….

Vitamin B3 as a novel approach to treat fungal infections

The current study shows that a C. albicans enzyme, known as Hst3, is essential to the growth and survival of the yeast. Researchers found that genetic or pharmacological inhibition of Hst3 with nicotinamide, a form of vitamin B3, strongly reduced C. albicans virulence in a mouse model. Both normal and drug-resistant strains of C. albicans were susceptible to nicotinamide. In addition, nicotinamide prevented the growth of other pathogenic Candida species and Aspergillus fumigatus (another human pathogen), thus demonstrating the broad antifungal properties of nicotinamide.

BTW. Mid scamdemic I was giving away lots of junk to me, treasure to another. A fella shows up wearing a mask and I say its a mask free zone. We got to yammering and I asked what he did. He sold copper plates and door handles to hospitals mostly. Says copper has antibacterial properties, like silver, but is cheaper.

It can’t be copper coated but solid copper. Food for thought.

A bunch of germs in a getaway heme are being chased by an element….

Loud crashes, smoke and chase scene music all around…..

Boom a vein collapses just behind them!

Germ Criminal screams “You’ll never catch us copper!” [He then farts in that general direction]

Germ Boss “Quick, turn left at the next capillary!”

[Cut scene reveals the getaway heme is approaching the lungs.]

Germ Boss “Everyone bail out at the lungs with the CO2, and we’ll ride that gas all the way outta this meat stick to freedom!”

I worked in a hospital lab during the height of the AIDS outbreak in the mid 80s. There were three “opportunistic” infections that these patients would get. Caposis sarcoma, a type of skin cancer, pneumocystis pneumonia, a respiratory infection, and mycobacteria avium, a TB-related infection spread by birds. Everyone of these infections in humans were nearly never heard of before AIDS. Also nearly never deadly either. This is spreading, in my opinion, because of VAIDS-vaccine acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. Jabs have destroyed the immune systems of millions, and now an otherwise innocuous infection that the healthy can easily fight, is spreading like wildfire. But of course the JAB will NEVER be implicated, nor will the jab status of any patient be noted.

I read that habitual recreational use of carcinogenic amyl nitrite (nitrate?) may have contributed to the formation of Kaposi’s sarcoma lesions.

Oops. Others have already mentioned that below.

three “opportunistic” infections that these patients would get. Caposis sarcoma, a type of skin cancer, pneumocystis pneumonia, a respiratory infection, and mycobacteria avium,

Were these opportunistic infections similar in any way to symptoms of long term amyl nitrate inhalation? Or heavy alcohol consumption? or poor diet? smoking? Or any combination of these plus more?

Somewhere I read a comment along
the lines of “we don’t catch diseases….” wait…here it is:

“We do not catch diseases. We build
them. We have to eat, drink, think,
and feel them into existence.
We work hard at developing
our diseases.
We must work just as hard at
restoring health. The presence of
germs does not constitute the
presence of a disease. Bacteria are scavengers of nature…they reduce
dead tissue to its smallest element.
Germs or bacteria have no influence, whatsoever, on live cells. Germs or
microbes flourish as scavengers at
the site of disease. They are just living
on the unprocessed metabolic waste
and diseased, malnourished,
nonresistant tissue in the first place.

They are not the cause of the disease,
any more than flies and maggots
cause garbage. Flies, maggots,
and rats do not cause garbage but
rather feed on it. Mosquitoes do not
cause a pond to become stagnant!
You always see firemen at burning
buildings, but that doesn’t mean
they caused the fire…”

Well, bird shit particles are everywhere, and contain m. Avium. When the terrain of these people’s bodies becomes fertile ground for this organism to thrive, it does. How these people’s bodies got to that point, whether amyl nitrate or cocaine or whatever, they got to a point at which their immune system no longer had the ability to respond to foreign invaders by destroying them or even keeping them in check. I can assure you as someone who performed the testing on these people’s respiratory discharges, that m. Avium was reproducing rampantly in their lungs and the effects were killing them as evidenced by the fluid and mucus buildup in their lungs. Bacterium produce waste materials that can damage healthy cells. Just look at the mental effects seen in the presence of urinary tract infection bacteria and the toxins they produce.

Agreed Mr Libery,

If we hobble our life functions via diet, environment and/or action, the biome homeostasis breaks down and the cleaning crew (bacteria, fungus, virus, cancer*)
arrive and get busy cleaning up the biome in an attempt to right the ship or neutralize the mess.
[*See: pleomorph, Bechamp]

If we damage our health beyond a certain point, there is no recovery possible.

That point isn’t fixed.

I want to see someone do a study on whether or not the amount of money in one’s bank or retirement accounts had any correlation to death probability.

Like, do the stats reveal that one was more likely to die if they held $500,000 in an account as compared to one with only $200 in an account?

If the banks hold the equivalent of trillions of dollars in assets, owned by private citizen account holders, the death of the account holders clears the accounts just as good (or better) as crashing the bank.
(For the sake of simple argument, these account holders have no legal will or living relatives)

And controlling which regions the hottest shots are delivered to is probably as easy as identifying the clusters of account holders where the greatest account liability elimination could be realized.

Fungal growth is not intelligent. It’s opportunistic. Been in the environmental biz since 1989, started doing “mold” remediation & assessments in 2000. Oh, mold=fungi=mildew.

MRSA is not mold. It’s a bacteria, which are much scarier. Think legionella.
