It’s a chopper for silage, that’s not manure. Looks like straw, or mulch hay.

Buzz kill. You must be the life of the party.
I was enjoying that display.

All we have is the truth.

I have been known to call for the repeal of the 19th at cockatil parties, it always seems to get a riotous response.

Won’t work. Socialists eat that stuff. They think those are raisins. One more reason why they are the way they are.

I wouldn’t mind some random farmer spraying manure on my fields. I would even dress up like a policeman, if it would help.

I am not even sure what I am going to do since all my plans for amendments and fert fell through this year.

My guess is that manure would stick to stuff and not be blown around so easily … at least that’s what used to happen when we ran the manure spreader at the farm.

Soaked in a few gallons of diesel mixed with gasoline and a match might have been more impressive use of silage

Possibly a mixture from the barn floor collected by the barn cleaner. Certainly not just manure.

That is exactly what it is. Chopped straw for bedding being blown from a corn chopper rigged for hay and straw chopping. Not even set that fine. The straw is coming out several inches long. A good corn chopper can get down to a quarter inch cut.

But then the best corn choppers, like all farm machines, are built in the Midwest, not Europe. Europeans come over here and copy our machines. Sort of like how when they need a good, strong, dependable truck engine, they come over here to copy one. Or if they need a railroad freight locomotive that can actually haul something for 70 years, they copy one of ours. Trouble is, when they copy, they always forget something, resulting in the end product being severely inferior to the Midwest-made product.

Now if they were serious, they would go to some dairy farmer in Wisconsin, load up from the manure pit that has been fermenting for the past year, and spray that stuff. Trouble for them is, those dairy farmers are not about to give up their fertilizer that has a 100% guarantee to work.

Perhaps if they went to Stickney and loaded up at Chicago’s sewage treatment plant…

Those farmers are lucky.

Our goons would open fire claiming they “feared for their lives”. Those left alive would be arrested for assault, their equipment seized, and property leined to pay for the dry cleaning of shock troopers kit.

Qualified immunity buys you alot of leeway.

Dutch farmers can shave using only the palms of their hands.

In their spare time, they give Chuck Norris karate lessons.

And when they do pushups, the earth moves.

It’s such a waste of time. Nothing will happen – they will be filmed, license plates taken, and then at some date in the near future simply imprisoned and tractors, equipment confiscated. This will achieve exactly the same end result as it did in Canada, namely nothing.

Wouldn’t a far more effective strategy be for all farmers to simply stop producing or delivering any goods until demands are met. Within 3 days the shelves are empty and by the end of the month all demands will be met to avoid food riots. You cannot force a farmer, anyone, to work and therefore it is a totally legal strategy.

I agree with you about being a futile effort but what you suggest isn’t going to work either. The government is trying to shut them down so shutting themselves down is not a point of leverage.

Not sure I agree; the gov want to shut down 30% or so, not all of them? If they all stop delivery of food then within 3 days the shelves are empty. Then the farmers will have the power to negotiate what they want. Government would have no time to make alternative plan in 3 days, imo.

Good luck with trying to convince cows to stop producing milk or chickens to stop laying eggs. Farmers just can’t turn off production. Sure, you can destroy the crops and starve the animals along with the people. But after that and if you win, then what? Now you have nothing to restart production and it will take years to restore what was destroyed because there is just so much seed and many crops are planted once but keep producing year after year without replanting.

You are confusing farmers with truck drivers. Truck drivers do the delivering to the warehouses and stores.

Trouble is, all truck drivers need to shut down, not just a few who don’t work for any particular trucking company. In other words, all the big trucking companies need to set the brakes. But that won’t happen. Why? Because all the big trucking companies are just as woke as the other big corporations they serve.

But if you can get 100% of the big trucking companies to shut down, you can instantly take 90% of the trucks off the road greatly reduce delivery capacity.

And if anyone thinks the railroads can pick up the slack, guess again. How many grocery stores, big box stores, and shopping centers have railroad tracks going to the delivery dock out back? Zero. You still need truck drivers to move the containers from the railroad yard to the final point of delivery.
