In my opinion, this entire episode is an interesting inflection because many regular people are experiencing, perhaps for the first time, the power that they have simply by where and how they spend their money. For most, it doesn’t hurt them to not buy a particular beer, especially if they don’t like it anyway. And yet, they are tasting a certain type of “power of the common man”, simply by changing their behavior and refusing something.
In the future, will they go further and refuse other things, when it actually hurts? The likelihood is higher now that they learned that there is power in numbers.
But wait dear! The GOP has finally turned around for us. They have found the courage they never had and are now clearly against the bad guys on the Left now.
