TBP SHRINKAGE

Seinfeld Daily

Time for one of my periodic updates about TBP, and it isn’t great. Below is a chart showing monthly page views and visitors dating back to September 2021. As you can plainly see TBP has been in a downward trend in both page views and visitors since March 2022. The peak for TBP was November 2021 when we achieved 1.4 million page views and 500,000 visitors. That was an average of 46,000 page views per day and 16,700 visitors per day. In recent months the page views have been in the 900,000 range, with visitors of about 180,000.

That is a 35% decline in page views and and a 65% decline in visitors from the peak. So far in April we are pacing at 750,000 page views and 140,000 visitors. Being a numbers guy, I had always striven to continuously grow the site. So these trends have been very disappointing to me. There are a myriad of reasons for this decline, but I am beginning to accept the fact that TBP will be a site that gets 23,000 to 28,000 page views per day, which was where we were in early 2021.

From a long-term standpoint the site grew from 6 million page views in 2015 to a peak of 12.7 million page views in 2021, with a slight dip to 12.1 million page views in 2022. Based on current results we’ll struggle to reach 11 million page views in 2023. So be it. I’ve begun to accept what TBP is and will be.

My goal since starting TBP in 2009 has always been to grow it. I’m a numbers guy, so page view growth was always a sign of success in my mind. Writing good articles was my sole method of growth during the early years. Zero Hedge re-posting my articles helped generate much of my growth. Other like-minded sites have supported TBP for years, including: Lew Rockwell, 321 Gold, Dollar Collapse, Western Rifle Shooters, Feral Irishman, Knuckledraggin My Life Away and quite a few others.

The growth from 9.5 million page views in 2020 to 12.7 million in 2021 was shocking to me. I’m still not sure why it happened. Maybe it had to do with my resistance to the Covid narrative and my numerous articles revealing the falsity of the pandemic. But it did give me hope that I might be able to leave the rat race, retire from my day job, and run the website full-time in my retirement. I’d have time to write/assemble a book. Ad revenue was at an all-time high and donations were strong. But that scenario was not to be. I’ll need to work for several more years. A combination of circumstances have resulted in the shrinkage. It wasn’t due to a cold pool.

George Costanza Shrinkage GIFs | Tenor

The decline began in the middle of March 2022. It is clear that search engines purposefully began suppressing and downgrading TBP in their searches. This suppression knocked daily page views from 41,000 to 32,000 practically overnight. Just as TBP was gaining momentum on Twitter, the old regime permanently banned TBP. That reduced visitors further. My growth plan had been to partner with like minded sites and cross-post or support them through carrying their ads. I have always tried to help other sites and writers by posting their articles.

Whatfinger had approached me and offered to post links if I placed their ads on my site. It was working well. They were delivering a few thousand page views per day and getting clicks to their ads. Then they just pulled their ads and stopped posting my links because I did an ad deal with someone they didn’t like. That was in June. I immediately struck a new partnership with State of the Nation to cross post articles and links. They pretty much replaced the page views lost from Whatfinger, until they also decided to stop posting TBP links because of complaints about some ads and the risque pictures on Friday Fail. I eliminated three ad companies, further reducing revenue.

Steve Quayle has been the largest supplier of page views by linking to one or two articles per day for a couple years. He would supply anywhere from 2,000 to 10,000 page views per day. A couple weeks ago he stopped posting links to TBP articles because he didn’t want to deal with the ads. I told him a simple ad blocker would solve his issue, to no avail. So Quayle will only link to my original articles, which I only have time to write one or two per month.

The only positive developments in the last two months has been Elon Musk reinstating TBP on Twitter and Amazon reinstating TBP as an affiliate. Now that very few sites are linking to TBP posts, Twitter is essentially the only method for growth. TBP Twitter followers has gone from 3,000 to 5,000 since I was reinstated. I thought being reinstated by Amazon would result in a significant bump in affiliate revenue. Boy was I wrong. Since they booted me in 2016, their commission payment percentage was cut in half. Most days we generate less than $5.

I completely understand why people have boycotted Amazon and choose to buy local. I also understand why people were upset when Paypal changed their terms of service and claimed they could take money from your account for offensive posts. When readers began cancelling their monthly subscriptions, I scrambled to add Stripe as an option. At the end of the day, I started with 108 Paypal subscribers – 70 canceled; 19 are paused; and only 19 remain. Most did not switch to Stripe, so donations have declined significantly. With the reduction in ad companies and daily visitors, ad revenue has declined 75%.

I’ve reconciled myself to being a smaller site. We’ve always had a small cadre of regulars, with even fewer commenters. Having read the comment stream at Zero Hedge, TBP has a far superior group of commenters. Many sites get no comments. TBP will continue to be like a local bar, where the regulars tell tall tales, banter, argue, and learn something new every day. We’ll continue to make 20 to 25 posts per day and try to keep it interesting, but I won’t have the pressure of trying to get other sites to pick up our articles. If people want to be entertained, they’ll just need to come here naturally.

Since all regulars are smart and use ad blockers, ad revenue will remain pathetic. If you do buy stuff using Amazon, do TBP a favor and buy the stuff using the Amazon icon on the right side of the site. The site is more than 50% supported by about 20 or so dedicated donors who have been phenomenally generous over the years. If you are inclined and financially able, consider making a donation to keep TBP fighting the good fight.

I will not buy from amazon and do use adblocker.

Tis why I occasionally send a check snail mail as I did last week(did you like the subject in memo?).

I would rather toss some monies directly to you then support the bezos monster or be overloaded with ads,the ones on sidebar are fine and actually get attention as they are not overwhelmingly annoying.

Do not sacrifice quality for quantity as I have found long term never works out.

Keep trying the working with other sites thing, has worked in past so no reason cannot in the future.

Anyhow,I and am sure many others will keep dropping a few bucks when we can.

And as always,Prepper Cat is with you.

I told my boss this week, it’s a different ball game this year from previous years. I’m changing up my routine and so should he, he laughed at me, The sales numbers came in and I was near the top. I changed my whole routine and it’s working so far until I need to change it again.

You can’t do the same thing in this new enviorment, you got to change it up, that’s up to you and you only.

I love this site and will continue to give when I can, but throwing money at it isn’t going to fix anything.

God speed Sir!!!!

Jim,

Relentless Exposure (RE) should be your mantra.

Whatever can do,
Wherever you must go,
Whoever you may partner with,
Will be keys to your success in getting the site out there.

Spheres of Influence are what I used to use when doing sales, it worked well.

Keep on slugging and plugging!!

I’m not on Twitter a lot but, I do follow you on there and, many times re-tweet your posts. Since you were restated there, I have seen a lot move views, likes, retweets, etc. We are in strange times where nothing is certain.

On a side note, my wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in Charleston, SC on the 10th of this month. We spent a few nights and days there and although we are both old farts now, we did paint the town up quite nicely. We did, however, bring back a crud with us that has had us both sick like we haven’t been in quite some time. It was humbling because quite honestly, we are both taking a lot of supplements to keep our autoimmune system geared up since the bioweapon was dropped on us. But, we got sick anyway. Mine is now in my chest with bronchitis and hers sounds about the same.

EDIT to say…we were never jabbed!

Anyway, stay healthy everyone and Jim, thanks for what you do to make this site my #1 go to for news, and rationale (most of the time) dialogue with the other regulars here.

Blessings, everyone!

Yeah, I’ve been talking about the use hydrogen peroxide for decades now. I always recommend putting it in a cool mist humidifier. It doesn’t take much. If you can taste it then you have to much. Was sick here recently (first time since before covid) and used the treatment as such to good affect. It has in the past I believe saved my life as I was so bad that I had to crawl to the humidifier where the oldest daughter (who used it at that time too for the same funk) had it set up, and what amazes me is the relief is almost instantaneous.

My wife and I have also suffered a month of cough and chesty affects ‘B55’, first time in 3 years. We have never taken the jab and use the usual supplements. It looks like a seasonal cold bug which we always get here in the UK spring but I thought we had mastered it! Getting better slowly now.

Peter, Have you read Firstenberg ?

“Influenza, in its present form, was invented in 1889, along with
alternating current. It is with us always, like a familiar guest—so familiar
that we have forgotten that it wasn’t always so. Many of the doctors who
were flooded with the disease in 1889 had never seen a case before.”

I found Firstenberg’s collation of various historic events a decent enough read.

I’ve mentioned before I could not sleep for days and it was rough because I was working 6PM – 6AM at the time. Also I kept rolling over on the shotgun next to me in bed so that when I did manage to doze off that awakened me and made things worse. All because I joked “Rush Limblow” and the dude , a Trump loving “conservative”, went ballistic. Psycho drugs for psychos. What can I say? I know that feeling well, Tex. I always slept with my trusty Berretta 9mm under my pillow when I lived in Cape Town. One morning I awoke to find ‘no gun’! Panic devolved into rational thinking – the wife (she’s a feisty SA) wasn’t attached.

Turned out she had gone AWOL hunting a wog who had held a gun to her head in a bar the night before (long story) but she never caught up with him – but felt much better for the exercise.

It’s the wild west down in SA – but we love it ‘cos nothing works and you can get away with murder!

I haven’t been making as many page views as usual, but it’s primarily because I’m either busy at home with the Fulltime Granddaughter OR I’m on the boat (like right now), and more tired than usual, as we’re having issues crewing her up, so I don’t get an Assistant Engineer….. It’s all on me for the time being.

I don’t personally use Amazon too much, but the Mrs. sure does. A LOT. Especially when I’m gone, as she doesn’t like to go shopping in-person. As I usually forward several articles to her each week, I’ll have her connect to Amazon through the site. She reads them, but is more of a Lurker of the Comments Section.

I’m pretty sure my Paypal is still active. I know that last month’s donation went through, but I’ll double-check it when I get off Watch tonight.

I agree that the bump in views in ’21 was due to TBP being the rare site that didn’t follow the preferred narrative. There were plenty of people who wanted a (true) alternative but drifted away when the urgency seemed to relax- casual visitors.
The current state of affairs is tragically unsettled but seems more and more to be the new normal. The next really major crisis (WW3, financial collapse, next scheduled scamdemic, Dem meltdowns over any number of things) will likely bring people back- at least for a while.
I first came here in 2016?-17? when I was linked to an article about the 4th Turning (was unaware before that) and was captivated. Been here ever since.
I’ll be contributing again soon- it’s been too long and that’s on me.

I think a lot of people have gone back to their pre pandemic lives. But it looks to me to be much harder for the average joe. Food prices have jumped fairly significantly resulting in more people searching for deals and flyer sales. Higher gas prices and mortgage costs are making a lot of people spend their time looking for an extra revenue stream. With online betting being seen as a way out, many people are now trying to become sports gurus and losing even more of their sanity and paycheck. These activities eat up time. People have less and less free time to invest in themselves. They are all in such a mad rush that they also even angrier then pre pandemic. They are choosing to check out more and more. Anything to distract them from the actual reality, which TBP is trying to help people see clearly. What The Burning Platform means to me is almost the opposite of getting angrier and distracted. One article in particular helped me to realize a few harsh truths and see some of my own misplaced and totally unnecessary anguish. To me, the value of TBP and its commentators have helped me to get rid of a chip that was on my shoulder that had grown into a boulder and was casting a shadow over all of my thoughts. The value of this site is immeasurable. Thank you to Jim Quinn and The Burning Platform, and all of the commentators. This truly is the best site anywhere in the now Spiked Milky Way!

I don’t have an income, unless you call $187/mo an income, so I have to make sure I’m careful with the coinage I have. I nearly fell over the other day buying a rattle can of paint. PreScamdemic a can cost between $5 – 7, today… its $16. A brick of .22 cal is now $76 when it was 45 three years ago.

I’ve been using scrap bedframes for things and cutting it up sucks. Canadian tire had a sale on 4.5″ cut-off discs. A pack of 20 for $9.99 instead of $49.99. Yea same thing with the spray paint here. I am basically down to only buying things on sale. And they need to be an actual sale not like the close out 5% off kinda sales. I hope my Garden this year is fruitful. I get the feeling it will be worth it come this december. Also I am personally ditching the car more and more. Gas $1.60 per liter…..

The metric system is the devil’s system of weights and measures. Foisted on people by the same types who want us in cbdc, or who came up with the UN and the EU the administrative state types.
Originally the French head choppers came up with it during their terror. And the meter is simply the French yard by another name. And then extrapolate it back and forth. The Napoleon forced it on the lands he conquered, so everyone would have to use the renamed French foot and yard.

The Celsius temperature measure, how stupid is it. Reduce the number of data points? All that does is make the measurements of temperature less precise.

And the liquid and dry measurements, boring, divide by a hundred or a thousand.
It’s a weights and measures system for the lazy. People who can’t figure out how to divide a gallon down from quarts pints ounces to tablespoons teaspoons and drops. It’s not that complicated or difficult to learn,

James and Warren, you both are so right. Being in Canada, I have had to use both, and as you say we put a 15 mm socket on a 3/8′ drive. At work we would get formulas for a litre of paint that doesn’t quite fit nicely in a quart can. We have to know how to convert everything. The doctor wants to know how many Kilos I am and the scale is in Lbs. At the gas station I fill up with Litres but have a 22 Gallon tank. The recipes call for a pound of bacon. We have 454g. Or beef is $3.00/lb but sold by the kilo. My bike axle is a 15mm but the wheels are 20 inches. You guys get a foot of snow and we get 30.48cm. Then when I sell my car people think 100,000 Kilometers is as much wear and tear as a 100,000 Miles. One time I was late getting to a hotel in Vermont, so I ended blowing by a state trooper that was in front of some guy in a camper van. I kept doing 150 km/h as he followed me for 1 mile or so. When he pulled me over he asked if I knew how fast I was going. I admitted I was doing 95 mph. He let me off with a warning and said they wouldn’t bother me if I kept it under 70. The only advantage is we have Robertson head screws aka Wood Screws. Bits never wear out, and neither does the screw head. It also shows idiots for who they are when you see car repairs accomplished by wood screws. Oh and they teach us Decimeters…. who uses 1/10th of a meter anywhere??? 12 inches equals 3.048 Decimeters….. Fun times, but at least our scales aren’t in stones….

I’m thinking a brick of .22 ammo is 500 rounds? Try Wal Marts. I’ve purchased multiple thousands of rounds of .22 Federal lead nose 1200 fps and HP 1260 FPS in 325 round boxes for turnkey 7 cents per round. They are suitable for target and probably could kill something. Right now if in stock Wal Marts generally carries Remington HP 1280 fps in a 525 round box for around 45 bucks + tax. IMO , Remington HPs are fairly good round for lesser expensive .22. They will kill something.

That’s “great”. I have to drive 40-50 miles to shop anywhere else and then it’s Wal Marts and other chains. When it comes to ammo I care less where it comes from as long as I can buy lots of it and not be gouged. Wallie has contracts with ammo manufacturers but the ammo guys only sell so much to them.

The last “ammo scare” no one had any type of ammo commonly shot unless one wanted to pay some gouging pawn shop 30 cents per round for target .22. Fortunately I was not totally blind the previous “ammo scare” and stocked accordingly. However, when Wal Marts started stocking again, even with a 2-3 box “limit” I’ve no shame at all and especially if I “need” it for something. All good.

I use to buy big ammo online. It’s stupidly priced now but that’s just the way it is.

About what I pay turnkey at Wal Marts for single box of 325 rounds , same ammo. Thanks. That could be an option if it holds up going forward delivered to my home.

I purchased ammo from SG some years ago. They had good deals on Russian 7,62x54R surplus. The only “issue” I had that did not matter was one time ordering a bunch of 7.62×39 Tiger. I opened the shipping box and there were 20 boxes of 20 rounds each that had split and come apart for whatever reason with ammo laying loose inside the shipping box that did not appear to be damaged.

Free Russia!

For a short moment in time they had 7.62X39 8m3,rare and bought 10 cases on the spot!

I have thru the years found them good price with excellent service and any bill over 200 +’s free shipping so you have total cost.

I would also for some folks consider how far do you drive for ammo,a good distance worth figuring in cost unless in that region anyhow.

But summers and especially fall the usausa has their border guards searching vehicles before they cross the line into canukistan, and search for guns, gun parts and ammo that are legal both sides. The usausa doesn’t allow persons to purchase ammo and transport it back to their slave compound.

The work around, is buying it in winter. Never any road blocks then.

Yes, I use uMatrix and selectively per site choose what sites/ads I allow thru. One site I specifically told the site admin what site scripts I will allow — eg ads which are directly related to the site purpose.

TBP uses amazon-adsystem.com and revcontent.com — big fail. I know these services provide easy site integration; but deliver low quality ads. So, what is the focus of this site? What products or services would directly correlate to the interests of the community?

I have bought from ads on websites; but never thru questionable third party ad servers. I’ve dissected too many of those script heavy redirects and seen code which is too close to weaponized intrusion than sales development. Quality is not just in the article content; the ad content must correlate in quality.

Well crap, hang me by the balls! Amazon, it’s a matter of “survival” sometimes. Gasoline is back well over 3 bucks again. Some things I buy from Amazon because it is delivered to my door. Each time I drive my old truck to town costs me almost 8 bucks round trip with current gas prices. And the cost of whatever it is is generally higher. To each his/her own. My biggest concern using the Amazon thing is the name.

I used to be a regular contributor, for years. This was when this current shit show (4th turning) was just getting going. It was a fresh prospective.

But I’m burned out. Everything is a lie. The government, the justice system, the politicians that are running our cities into the ground, public schools, COVID, I could go on and on.

Every aspect of our lives has been politicized. I would say 3% of the population: LGBQ / Trans / Feral Niggers / Commies, control the narrative. So many outrageous things happen weekly, I’d say most thinking people have been rendered numb.

So that news slant isn’t ‘fresh’. What new injustice is there to read about?

I don’t know the answer, but IMO to get more ‘clicks’, you need to find a fresh angle to our current shit show.

Articles that are more succinct – I’m not asking for Reader’s Digest – but I believe people want shorter, more to the point articles. IMO most lengthy articles lack editing, or have too much info, and should be broken into several articles.

Secondly where this site shines, are the contributor comments. I think many people read 10% of an article, get the point, and then jump to the comments., for the wit and real life response.

Dutch, I totally agree and have been wanting to say the same thing for a while.

Jim, you are totally awake and express it eloquently. Do you need a push to fully commit to what you know and quit compromising??

Is it really a mystery why TBP is fading? Is it really a question why millions showed up for looking for a place reposting the truth but didn’t stay? Is it really a mystery why another aging dinosaur in a crowded pasture of other stuck in the mud narrative reposters is fading? You know better!!!!! but then mostly REpost narrative garbage that only generates responses like ‘still doesn’t get it’, ‘here’s why it’s wrong’, ‘more lies’, ‘I knew this a long time ago’, etc etc etc. ?? The fading interest is no mystery to me, the garbage you choose to repeat hurts to see and scares me.

I bet the former newcomers are like me and spend most of their time outside the TBP pasture in places getting more vibrant all the time with envelope pushing fresh thinkers. I’m one of that growing crowd of MILLIONS desperately wishing for a fresh gathering place for kindred spirits which would be a thought leader forum that leaves all the legacy deceit and hopelessly half woke morons behind.

IOW, I refuse to give any money to a place repeating narrative lies, liars and hopelessly half woke pundits. How can you not get how much repeating garbage demeans TBP integrity and pushes your target audience away?

I sure would support a HIGH STANDARD forum. It would be a forum known for strictly limiting reposts to edgy, thought provoking, fully-awake-only contributors in all fields. That standard would eliminate nearly all the content at every ‘recommended’ site that TBP pulls from. Many minds in the generations behind me are showing great discernment and somehow getting the big picture right despite all the lies they had to sift through. Those are the fearless thinkers I follow when not mostly just clicking for Good Old Days, Ridicule and Friday Fail here.

But also to me, a big co-factor is how often the TBP comment section suffers the same names high repeater syndrome that I’ve seen kill forum vibrancy before. You excuse it as being comparable to a local bar, I call it 10 aging and bored overposters writing occasional insight but who post way too much back and forth one liner shit chat on nearly everything in denial of how it runs off fresh thinkers with actual fresh insight who then don’t come back and hurts you.

I hope you’re not between a rock and a hard place. Meaning, you’re saying former lucrative sites that used to support TBP are already dismissing you for non-narrative stuff, and I bet leaving off garbage will also run off ‘regulars’. But….. 12 MILLION came and went AND HAVE NO PLACE TO GATHER.

Is there really anything to lose to change to fiercely committing TBP to only the truth you clearly understand!! in your brilliant essays and being an uncompromising fearless leader instead of trying to mix truth with narrative lies, liars and hopelessly half woke morons?

Isn’t it time to bet that millions would love a place that no longer posted any article/person who doesn’t first and foremost clearly understand the lack of isolation factor and why there wasn’t even any contagious virus at all for one thing…. which leads to not compromising on everything else too?

My post was about helping Jim and a fading TBP after so much valuable foundational hard work and potential.

Fading means there’s a reason and that things will not improve without change – possibly drastic and temporarily inconvenient.

I say there’s an elephant in the room and I’m not afraid to call it out.

My gut tells me OF COURSE a vibrantly successful forum is possible and I’m explaining what I see as a logical solution in the form of HUGE opportunity. What’s your suggestion to help Jim? Or it’s pretty selfish of you to want TBP to stay the same for your benefit. My whole point was old patterning in both posts and participant stagnancy that’s getting old, thanks for exemplifying it.

LOL, since I’m apparently a selfish guy, challenge accepted.
Could Jim Quinn package his writings into an e-books and sell those to raise $? Sure. Will he? Don’t know.
Could he do a regular quarterly fund-raiser, where he re-posts his most viewed posts? Sure. Will he? No idea.
Could he be more focused on building an email marketing list? Probably. Is he? No idea. Maybe he doesn’t want to be like so many other e-marketers and bombard your inbox with sales pitches.
Could he do giveaways, like your local radio station during sweeps periods, to boost the visits and page-views? Sure. Will he? Don’t know.
Could he start building some sort of an endowment, like a university does?
Running a website looks to be time consuming and a pain in the ass. And the ideas I just put forth require even more time invested in tbp.com. Who can blame him for being resigned to being shadow-banned, etc. after 15 years of toil?

It’s been very gratifying to come here the last 6 years or so, and I’m leery of telling our host what to do, how to do it, etc. If I think there are too many posts per day, so what? If I think some of the comment sections get overrun by foolish spats, so what? The scroll thing on your computer mouse is a wonderful invention. I still visit daily and from time to time will offer my comments for my own amusement, or offer what I think is an interesting or useful perspective.
The reality and the facts of the matter are that people like us are overwhelmingly outnumbered in America. Overwhelmingly.
Jim Quinn can run this site however he wants to. Be glad that he still does.

The help question was not about how to help Jim find a new job.

It was about the millions who know TBP exists and what changes would attract them back. I was proposing that the answer is intertwined with why they left….. and that the answer suggests that a ripe opportunity exists that no one is capitalizing on yet.

Yes, I think the millions were first attracted by a place offering narrative challenging truth in time of crisis. But I think a substantial portion would have stayed if TBP had been perceived as at least sincerely trying to avoid obvious disinfo the rest of the time. I think those millions desperately hoped for a place they could consistently trust to help them vett and lost hope from finding just another place repeating both truth warriors and shameless narrative liars/shills. That combination just doesn’t mix and there went their motivation to stay or support.

Now even millions more have lost all remaining doubt about what they know and realize they don’t have anything more to learn from reading more obvious liars, idiots, shills, scripts and narrative.

We saw a huge propensity for questioners to want to gather and find kindred spirits. What if word spread that a place existed that was turning their back on ALL the players like TIME’s UP!, GOODBYE. A place that was boldly standing tall for principles and trying their best to only repost fully awake thinkers, doctors, scientists, narrative ridiculers, average people speaking out etc in all topics. TBP could even refresh/rebrand as…. The Rising Platform…. suggesting a successful burn that’s over and moving forward.

Or, TBP can change nothing and hope for better results.

Perk up Admin, worse things happen at sea! 🙂 TBP is an amazingly unique site offering exceptional content and comments. I often repost links on my Substack which is growing fast in 2023 but I have no idea why. My plan is to ask for subscriptions later this year although I will continue to offer free access which many Stacks do.

I have tried commenting on ZH but no visible response so far. I could try posting some of your brilliant articles on the Stack and perhaps think about opening a dedicated Stack to re-post some of TBP’s excellent articles. I’ll make a plan later especially as they have opened a new ‘Notes’ feature which works like Twitter they say but I haven’t had time to suss it out yet.

All kudos to you Jim and thank you for all your valuable hard work.
Cheers

The underlying problem is that all the corporate help that you used to get to this point have now recognized that you’re actually becoming successful and that YOUR “agenda” has come into conflict with their own.

Whatfinger is OBVIOUSLY deep in the bag for Trump. Before Matt Drudge went over to the dark side, he never would have done such a thing. He always kept some professional distance between his work and the sharks. Then he just up and sold it. It would be interesting to know how much of Trump’s money is influencing Whatfinger’s editorial powers. I’d not be surprised to learn he owned a controlling financial interest.

It’s doubtful that Whatfinger will ever tell you the truth, but I believe your problem is that you allow dissenting positions both in your articles AND in your comments section that do not reflect well upon their lunatic decision to endorse a defective candidate for POTUS.

I simply refuse to believe that they would post all the gay, faggoty queer shit on their site and then censor or throttle you for a weekly dose of glamour photos.

Here’s the truth. Whatfinger USED people just like you to leapfrog to the front of the line in the wake of Drudge’s betrayal of society. Now you’re in process of being discarded by them for your “betrayal” of their agenda.

Am i cynical? You bet yer ass I am. That doesn’t make me wrong.

Frankly, I’m surprised it took them this long to notice.

First, I like your site. The articles provide a perspective I don’t get from most of the sites I visit. As a humbly offered suggestion, you might want to consider the overly negative leanings of anti-Americanism in your 0fferings. I agree with the site’s position on covid because most of the articles are supported by data. The problem seems to be with coverage of the war in the Ukraine. There is a place for balance by including articles from RT and other seeming Russian propaganda sites. Most of the readers (commenters) seem intelligent and informed enough to form their own opinions. Surely, though, their must be some articles that present a positive position supporting our efforts to help an under-dog democracy (imperfect, but who is). I think the lessons learned by Budweiser may also have some applicability to web-sites.

Dear Larry,
I wonder if fixing this site according to a commentor’s current preferences would drive away the very contributors who make the site appealing in the first place?

I have thought about things that I thought could be better. But the passage of time reveals the genius of this site.

I once thought about starting my own blog…
Then, I thought, “That is a huge commitment of time and money.”
It was then, that I accepted the fact that if a blog or site owner has a way of doing things, I can either work within the framework or leave.

I did want to say one thing about the shrinkage. I belong to a liberty-minded group, and our numbers are going through the same thing that your readership is. Attendance and activity peaked about the middle to the end of the scamdemic (the scamdemic is what brought us together in the first place), now it’s pretty much down to the regulars with the odd guest once in a while (usually someone who knows one of the regulars). What you’re going through is probably normal – the 2020 steal is behind us (despite people who are still litigating it in the court of public opinion), the scamdemic is mostly behind us (at least the worst of it), etc. – and people are getting back to their regularly scheduled life programming. Same with the liberty group I’m involved in. There will always be some people who will stay with you (or us in my case), but many won’t, they have other things they’d like to get back to. I see it as neither good nor bad, it just is.

Good luck. Hope you get to retire soon.

It occurs… “What if the drop in site visitors is an informal survey of the fear porn and clot shot induced deaths?”

[Meaning, the fear porn and clot shots permanently grounded (6 feet under) a large enough percentage of regular TBP visitors to show up in a chart.]

Yes if the stats are even close to true that would explain a drop in employment, too (in the younger sector). The older sector is worse but ‘explained naturally’. We’ve had quite a few customers (and relatives). die ourselves.

As a thought might get some millennial contributors. Seems like mostly an older group here to bring in more people.
Have an interview or write an article on, or invite Jay Dyer or Owen Benjamin (who I don’t like but many do) for instance.
Just ideas.

One thing I really like it seems like most of the commenters are real people (that doesn’t mean some haven’t been hired. Ha- paranoia is truth). Zero Hedge is probably the usual 90% or more bots.
I think if you got bigger the real attacks would begin and they are not nice.

I haven’t been here long.

I did notice the site and the articles seem to go through phases.

Some articles, do not seem to get ANY comments. Even though they are good.

What happened?
Maybe the article posted at an unfortunate time, and then got shoved down to page 2 before the people who would have appreciated it ever saw it.

I actually feel kind of bad for the orphaned article comment sections . All alone, no controversy to keep them warm.

TBP traffic declined about the same time ZeroHedge started hiding the bottom of their “ZeroHedge Reads” menu and making users click the ‘Expand’ button. Their link list is alphabetized. Maybe rename ‘the burning platform’ to ‘a burning platform’, or ‘burning platform’ – anything to be further up their list.

Also – for 99% all that covid/vax/Fauci stuff is either forgotten or their minds are made up and the articles ignored.

A few thoughts from Abigail:

– Figure out a way to market to a younger crowd. What are you going to do when your market of Boomers begins to die off? Who’ll be left to visit & comment on this site?

– Friday Fail: not my thing & I rarely visit, however the few times I scrolled through I didn’t see anything resembling soft porn. Don’t eliminate images of beautiful women. Nothing wrong with that. It lets me know there are still some actual men in the world. My God, if you eliminate anything let it be all the images of gross tranny fags.

– Lighten up on the Covid BS. We got it. Most are tired of dwelling on it. Maybe just post a few and call it good for the day. We don’t want to forget but we also don’t need to be inundated by it.

– Add a little more positivity. My personal feelings after I visit this site is negativity & powerlessness. It’s just a big fat reminder on what was lost and there’s not much I can do about it. A little positivity will go a long way.

– Get rid of Ann Coulter. Nobody likes her – young or old. She’s a tired old man hag.

– Ron Paul?? Seriously? Still going to stick with him? I say move on, but that’s just me.

– Dr. Robert Malone – get rid of him. He’s a total fraud and I refuse to read/comment on his articles.

– Consider charging a subscription fee. Got something valuable?? Then charge for it. It will automatically make your content seem more valuable in the minds of others if they have to pay for it. That’s how it works – the psychology of value. Plus, free speech ain’t free.

– Maybe consider a book club thread – probably won’t be hugely popular, but you never know. Get someone to lead it – I nominate HSF.

Those are just a few thoughts very quickly off the top of my head.

Saw this boy last night. Phenomenal. Except there were two butch lesbos making out right in front of me. Imagine both very large and rubbing their hands all over the other’s rolls, tatted, pierced, shaved heads – and I had to look at it if I wanted to see Tyler. Disgusting. So, yeah, keep posting tasteful pics of beautiful women. Otherwise, what’s going to combat all the other bullshit were forced to swallow???

I think the only thing TBP is missing are articles on the financial plight or success of the masses. How are the auto markets doing? Commercial real estate? And maybe some conceptual educational articles….such as Nanotechnology or Optogenetics. As for you Abigail, we all feel the negativity. Such is the way of the world. None of us can change the world. The ad revenue model is dead. Amazon affiliation is likewise not beneficial. Suggest finding something like Patreon and get lots of $5 per month supporters. This seems to be the post Twitter, post covid model for non PC sites.

I believe you can build a large group of $5 per month supporters over time that cannot be destroyed overnight. Good luck.

You are a target of “shadow banning” and out and out suppression. The digital media algorithms filter your site on the search engines. Then there is the ad and financial censorship you mentioned. The Internet is being scrubbed just like in Orwell’s 1984 where Winston Smith’s job was to revise history.
Earlier this week I was doing a search for the simulated pandemic exercises prior to Event 201, I only found one even using an AI search engine! A year ago I was able to pull up around ten from 2002 to 2019. Back then one site had an article on all of them but Maki Freeman the site owner shut down his site and now I can’t locate his archives.
I say all this to say we are living in times of universal deceit and as George Orwell said, “during times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.” By that reckoning you are a revolutionary, keep up the good work!

I wonder if among the folks who are part of the TBP any.have businesses on the internet, perhaps they could direct some ad dollars to TBP.

I miss these. I thoroughly enjoyed Bartles and James premium Wine Coolers.

Congrats Admin. Perchance you’ve worked yourself out of a job?
All that superb Paul Revereing has taken root amongst many of us. It certainly did for me.

I wonder if the big drop off coincides with Elon opening up Twitter. The quality improved so much over there that I have to say that I find myself spending a lot more time on that site since Elon took over.

in my mind, fwiw, those recently departed “partners”, have shown their true colors. this is especially a time for unity and cohesiveness ( 1 4 all and all that).
i consider them traitors and any ( quail eggs) i sometimes view, are now dead to me. ( i know several sites and persons who all but worship he of quail sized eggs. i shall update their intel on him with this treachery).
i will scroll up and see what bud lite fan c/o about friday fails. seems he is included in that group ( more like a “daily fail”!)

since i lived in pooh man land (00s), after discovering ZH, i quickly found TBP. for over a decade every day i start with a Bible verse, then hit ZH, then secondly to TBP. Lately, ZH
has me pondering that rank.

the quality is not diminished. the efforts by all who run this must be gargantuan, as the prove.

i’ve lived abroad nigh on 20 years. unfortunately, they hold an opposite view on foreigners the “real world imposes on it’s citizens, making it virtually impossible to purchase or donate to USSA ( not even my church of 40+ years can i support). i click on ads, knowing they are minimal help. but, it is a thing i can do.
i’ve commented perhaps 3 times. i don’t wish to waste other’s time with my dimly lit views. but this irked me.

lastly ( finally), dear sirs,
may we all recall how many were faithful/loyal to the end for The Lord Himself?

G-d’s mercies and graces on all of us

1st time commenting here. I have visited the website for years. Sometimes more frequently, sometimes less requently.
I think you have really upped both the quantity and quality of content – Good job.

HOWEVER, I DO NOT like all the crappy adds on this site whether they are popups or not or whether you have control of them or not. I think these advertisements take away from the Credibility and definitely Readability of the site. I’m tired of ‘Holding my Nose’ as I have to deal with the poor taste in advertisements and go around them to read the stories of interest. Your content is not tabloid quality despite the crap advertisements that polute this important site. Remember, you only have 1 chance to make a good 1st impression. I think you need to take a step back with an open mind and consider how many ‘newbies’ are turned off given the visual presentation and not returning due to this.

Greg Hunter at USA Watchdog has had to evovle since being booted off Youtube. His site is NOT POLLUTED with CRAP Advertisements. He has high quality pertinent sponsors.

Andy Schectman at Miles Franklin was never into written content but by making himself available the last 3 years for many, many interviews, I would suspect this has paid dividends beyond imagination. All high quality partners like Bix Weir, Dunagun Kaiser, Chris Marcus, Silver Slayer to name a few. They have given Andy the opportunity to show what an incredible source of knowledge he is in the Precious Metals area and his contribution to exposing light to the dark side.

I don’t know if you are trying to strictly cover costs through donations but I’m thinking you need to go to a ‘substack model’ with a few subcription levels or a patreon model with monthly donations at lower levels. Given the number of views, if you had 50,000 subscribers at a few dollars a month ($ 5, $10 max), I’m sure your funding model would be solved.

There are 3 levels of knowledge. We have the uninformed who choose not to source any information whether from MSM or the alternative media. Then we have the Mis-Informed who are the patrons of the MSM and believe the ‘offical narrative’ being spewed nightly by the Presitutes as Gerald Celente has coined them. Fortunately, as readers of TBP, we know they, The Sheeple, will be in for a rude awakening one day. The last level of information is Intelligence and this is Not FREE plus it does not come cheap. I am a VERY HAPPY subscriber to Catherine Austin Fitts at Solari.com, Joseph Farrell at Giza death star, Jim Willie a Golden Jackass, and a nuber of substacks. I have ‘put my money where my mouth is’ in terms of offering my comment today. Quite frankly I don’t have the time to read all of these I have noted on a more regular basis but I very much feel it is important to renew my subscription to support these important people and the work they produce to guide us through a very dark period of time in this 4th Turning we currently find ourselves in.

In conclusion, The Burning Platform offers good intelligence and should not be ashamed at starting an inexpensive subsription option for covering costs or a well deserved surplus. Stop looking like a Tabloid and look like a site worthy of providing the high quality of ‘intelligence’ that we as long time readers have been accusomted to seeing & reading on The Burning Platform.

All the best !!!

TBP is my favorite site, I am proud to let others know that. You have immensely informed me over the years and I am certain your articles have saved many from physical (and mental) harm during the “plague.” TBP is a true blessing, thank you!

A personal observation – some posts stay at the top for a very long time so it takes some sticktoitiveness to scroll through for new content.

Allow me to reveal the old school method for you.

Start at top of page.

Scroll down as you watch the right side of the screen

You’ll come to a vertical hyperlink column labeled “recent comments”…this shows you roughly who has been commenting on which articles.

Below that is “Latest posts” It lists the articles AS THEY WERE POSTED TO THE SERVER and not the order they appear in on the actual page itself.

Jim floats sponsored articles up top for marketing considerations.

You’re still gonna need that “stick to it” attitude though. That applies not just here on site, but also in daily life anywhere you find yourself.

In the words of Jose Wales, “If you give up or quit, then you neither live nor win.”

Hope this helped!
