The Covid hysterics will not quit

Guest Post by Alex Berenson

Three years later, they continue to defend the indefensible – even including hyper-aggressive ventilator use. No wonder they won’t tell the truth about the mRNAs.

Dr. Craig Spencer has been a Covid shrieker from the beginning.

Before Covid, Spencer was best-known for wandering around New York City while sick with Ebola, a virus that kills half the people it infects.

But Spencer’s laissez-faire attitude toward infectious disease deserted him when Sars-Cov-2 arrived in New York. At the time, Spencer was an emergency room physician at Columbia University Medical Center, where he treated Covid patients – and, on Twitter, raised an alarm about the coronavirus.

Did he ever.

Spencer spoke with the authority of a frontline physician treating Covid patients.

He could have used his voice to downplay the hysteria sweeping the United States and the world. Instead, he amplified it to his fast-growing Twitter audience.

Over and over.

And over.

(He survived a virus that can make you bleed out through your eyes; he feared one whose mortality rate for healthy people under 50 was almost too low to measure. Why? The answer might have something to do with Donald John Trump.)

SOURCE

Not just on Twitter, either. He wrote opinion pieces for the Washington Post (and the Washington Post again!) and other outlets.

He was on television a bunch, too. Like a bunch:

If one wanted to steal an old joke, one might say that the most dangerous place to be in early April 2020 was not in a Covid ward but between Craig Spencer and a television camera.

That’s both uncharitable and wrong, of course.

But it’s not wrong to wonder how much time Spencer – whose authority in spring 2020 came from his experience seeing Covid patients – spent actually treating those patients between all his tweets and op-eds and appearances.

So what? Spencer just wanted the world to know that Covid was dangerous, right? He was just relaying what he saw, right? He was a doctor, not a politician, right?

No.

Spencer was the opposite of apolitical. He wanted the world to know that Donald Trump had failed him and his fellow health-care workers. He wanted Joe Biden.

And he wanted lockdowns.

(It will kill you on a beach, it will kill you if you preach, it will kill you here or there, it will kill you everywhere!)

The hysterical tone that Spencer and other anti-Trump physicians on Twitter adopted was not just absurd at the time and embarrassing in retrospect.

It fed the fear that made lockdowns so hard to undo. It set the stage for the later demonization of the unjabbed. Naturally, Spencer was a huge mRNA shot advocate and cheered vaccine mandates.

I wish I could say Spencer has learned from his mistakes and his hysteria.

Nope. Even now, more than three years after Covid began, Spencer will not begin to admit the truth about anything that has happened.

His (at best) cognitive dissonance revealed itself again this week. He complained about coverage of the new Northwestern University study showing ventilators – which doctors used very aggressively in spring 2020 – almost certainly killed some Covid patients.

He tweeted:

“I’m sick of seeing people trying to relitigate 2020 through the eyes of 2023. If you miraculously know everything now, why didn’t you tell us so then?

About that:

(Please note date, kind sirs and madams)

In truth, by April 2020, anyone tracking the data closely could see that Covid’s threat – to children, to reasonably healthy adults, and to society as a whole – had been vastly overstated.

Some of us said so at the time. We have the receipts to prove it.

So, no, we are not trying to “relitigate” the past. But we cannot let people like Craig Spencer forget that they were wrong then and are still wrong now.

Because, as the hysteria around monkeypox last summer and the refusal to apologize for mRNA vaccine mandates prove, the public health authoritarians have not just failed to learn from history.

They are desperate to repeat it.

In short, no . . . because we always slouch instead of stand.

Yesterday I was out raking pine needles on my property. My neighbor’s wife was walking by and stopped to chat. I asked her how her husband was doing as I know he’s been sick lately. Now bare mind he’s a retired pharmacist and fully vaxed with the clot shot. He tried 2 years ago to convince me that I was crazy not to get vaccinated. They both have had Covid 3 times over the last two years that I know about. She told me he was not well and unable to walk. This is a guy that could ride 125 miles on his bike for muscular dystrophy fund raisers. She told me he has blood clots in is legs and arms and is taking a medication to treat the clotting. She said, his doctor told them this is a common occurance after having Covid. I didn’t say anything, but i did shed a tear for them. He’s a good man and a talented musician, I hate the fact that the shot has detroyed his life. The moral of the story is: Trusting the science can kill.

Continue to booster this fagtard until titrated and boost some moar. It will be impossible to alter this phollower’s world view even by reasoned discourse, iron-clad proof, and rigorous meta-analyses. Dokter Spencer needs to find the truth empirically. Pity his patients.

The Covid hysterics will not quit

Isn’t covidia the only subject Alex has written about the last 3 years? Did he take the jab and now has a burning resentment and obsession for vengeance? The covid hysteria won’t die until most people who took the jab die.

Alex is doing what he is paid to do: writing articles to enforce the current narrative. He and his colleagues who push CONVID as real are all part of the machine.

Why does anyone listen to or trust this guy — because he used to write for the NY Times, one of the worst rags out there? Because he has “sources?” Because, just like Dr. Bob (Malone), he saw the light and is now on “our” side?

Fuck him, and anybody else who tries to sell CONVID. They are all liars.

the twatter comments give me hope that the next “plandemic” won’t be so compliable.
