I’m not an expert in the spiritual implications of pride month but I do know the opposite of pride is humility. I’ve learned one way to show humility is to fast for a period of time from food or other things (i.e. internet, alcohol, desserts etc). So, I intend to do my part this month by fasting several times throughout the month and showing humility on behalf of our country. I’ll be saying many prayers this month for God to show mercy on our country and to protect us from this evil.
It’s not much but at least it’s something.

Why does every group need their own month?
LGBT+ Pride month, Black history month, Hispanic month, Jewish American month, Asian American month, Disability pride month, Arab American month, Mental Health awareness month. etc, etc, etc, etc…..
It’s like election candidate signs on the street corners during elections, pretty soon there are so many that individual signs (months) get lost in the noise. So each group gets a bigger sign and makes more noise, holds more events.
It has all gotten so very old. Have your pride, celebrate your beliefs, but keep it to yourselves, the rest of us don’t want to hear it. If we change our minds, we can find you.

The Mishnah says that God did not send the Flood until men began writing marriage contracts between men and men, and men and animals.
That’s because the people who wrote it are liars and there is no truth in them. God told those generations when the flood would be and why.
God himself rebuked the Mishnah.
And then Christians somehow managed to append that pile of dung onto the New Testament … and look where that’s taken them …
I disagree. Our heavenly Father has an active will, and a passive will. It appears that the passive will is at play here. Meaning, He has been saying, “OK, see how you like a Godless society, with Lucifer running amok more and more.”
Perhaps seeing so much pervasive evil is what it will take to wake people up.
And if enough of humanity doesn’t awake, then we get lightning bolts and the frightening prophecies come true?
On the other hand, maybe something like Jesus and the fig tree is taking place right now (see today’s Gospel reading), unbeknownst to us all.
No matter what’s going on, down with priDEMONth, and Jesus is Lord.
These people choose to celebrate their depravity in a particular month. That doesn’t mean that month is “their” month. They have no such authority. Don’t acknowledge their false claims. Ignore their displays. It’s what they fear the most. It is the act of transgression that excites them. They are like petulant children misbehaving to attract attention. Don’t take the bait. They will lose interest.
Surely NO ONE can possibly believe that the current propaganda push to normalize a tiny tiny percentage of the population is just an accident.
The economy is going to implode from all this mismanagement.
When that happens times are going to be hard, and there will be no place in the world for these deviant sodomites, the people who will survive will be the ones with the most toxic masculinity.
