Having read this very cool historical document, my day is now complete. Time for a 1926 Padron. Ci vediamo.

Favorite cartoon of all time, followed by El Kabong (Quick Draw McGraw)
I remember the beginning of The Jetsons, the theme song, “Jane his wife…” and he would hold out a $20 bill and she would grab his wallet. That cracks me up to this day. Those old cartoons are a no go now.

Years back, seeing the clutching pearls stupidity and censorship, I collected copies of every cartoon I could find. Old Tom & Jerry ones that would make a snowflakes head explode. Heckle and Jeckle.

This, https://www.ranker.com/list/prejudice-moments-in-looney-tunes/erin-mccann

But faggotry and sexual fuckedupedness? Perfectly fine for kids, apparently.

Nuke it from orbit.

I still have a stack of VHS at my parents’ house with most of the Bugs Bunny / Looney Toons, including a few tapes of the ‘forbidden’ episodes. Entire anthropology papers could be written by future scholars, using Warner Brothers as source material.

mine was Foghorn Leghorn, the big rooster. Also loved the little chicken hawk always trying to capture him.

“I sat, I say that boy talks so much his tongue’s gonna get a sunburn”

Best. Line. Evah! Col. Foghorn Leghorn!

Second best… “Oh Mrs J. you’re the most ut!” Rosie the robot, of The Jetsons fame. Lol for the good ole dayze.

Peace, L.

Most of these old cartoons are available on dvd. I’ve got a nice collection going for my granddaughter… 😊

I was in the 4th grade when I discovered a coyote could run up to 42 mph and a road runner could run up to 20 mph. That info ruined the cartoon.

Rule 10. Like a W. Bros animator, Coyote’s sense of sportsmanship is fanatical.

Facts will do that for ya. Recall the trucks running down Wiley? That’s real, check the side of the interstate here in AZ. Note also, RR can fly, they just seem to prefer not to, much, and they do not make the meep meep sound, more of a clicking sound.

Remember where Rocky and Bullwinkle were from? Frostbite Falls MN.

Peace, L.

I remember watching Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd in an opera while on acid.

Acme made a lot of money off Wyle, and their product’s seldom worked correctly, to Wyle’s own harm.

Yes, gravity, physical and mental, can be a detriment, among many others. The alternative to strive to skip the light fantastic.
