TBP UPDATE

How low can you go - Hand Jive - Imgflip

As you can see below, TBP views hit a multi-year low of 627,000 in June. This is down from the all-time high of 1.4 million in November of 2021.

To try and regain some of those visitors, I deleted two more of the pop-up ad companies, which should improve the user experience for those without ad-blockers, while further reducing TBP ad revenue. By getting rid of these ads, Steve Quayle is again going to post links to TBP articles. In addition, I renewed my relationship with Whatfinger by placing their ads/videos on the sidebar. They will also begin to link to TBP articles.

Yesterday was the first full day with these partners back in place and our visitor count went up 45% versus our June average. With far less pop-up ads, hopefully we will get more permanent visitors and commenters.

With only three remaining ad companies, TBP will become more reliant on donations and Amazon commissions. Amazon is running a promotion for the next two weeks, leading up to their Prime Days, where affiliates receive double the normal commission on purchases. For those who still use Amazon, consider making all your purchases through the TBP link.

I expect June to be the low-point in visitors for TBP and we will soar to new heights, right up until the nuclear missiles rain down upon our degenerate controlled nation. And don’t forget to get our new shirt, honoring our beloved leader at the TBP merchandise store.

I think Amazon may be selling mustard gas masks 2 for 1. Amazon what it is , my only means of dropping a bone to the site.

I’d rather donate directly to TBP. I hope the arrangement isn’t conditional upon sales numbers. I never did Amazon and don’t plan to start now.

Only works for me because gasoline is so high. A round trip to town to purchase anything adds up to about 6 bucks + in the old PU. When I was working part time at a hardware store I purchased the same stuff I do from Amazon for around 5% over cost which is a “good deal” but with no kickback to the site.

Never know what they may unload on peeps. Mustard gas is about as old as 1822. The thing is it is absorbed through the skin so one will need a mustard suit. Never know some balloons from parts of the world no one will confess may release the stuff.

I don’t know much about any of the canisters, but we have a few of each. I bought a lot of my stuff from Mira, but have bought a couple off Amazon The masks are definitely Mira. I can’t recall where the ones for the nuke fallout came from. I noticed last week, I think it was, that we have some Jobama visitors in this tiny hamlet. Of course, this being the Midwest, it’s probably a coincidence that the very same demographic that picks crops are also military-aged males, but we’ll disregard that and keep stockpiling just the same. I was thinking earlier that I should probably look into getting a FLIR scope for either my AR or 300 Win Mag or maybe both. I was not shocked but not happy with the prices. They do have one that’s $2200 but even that’s out of my range today. If it ever gets bad here, I will need to be ready 24/7. Then I watched a YouTube video of feral hog hunting with one of these $2200 FLIR scopes and that gave me the further thought that daytime (for now) hog hunting would be excellent practice for running insurgents. Practice leading targets.

However you came by Gen 3, if you’re talking about NV, rather than FLIR is nice; I said on this site, I believe not long ago, my wife (she has to choose only one) is ridiculously cheap or lacks any motivation to learn on her own) has now bought me two different Gen 1 NVs, both binocs. The first pair broke, so she bought another. Yep, it is better than your naked eye in the dark. Just barely. While we have the money, I do understand her not wanting to spend it on things that aren’t food, but come on, if your life is on the line, are you going to don a pair of pork chops to see or would you rather have something that works? Those sand negros can run awfully fast.

Yep,nv 3 mono mounted on a cap, like keeping a eye in the real world as it were.I actually went with the white and really like it,some folks prefer the green which is fine, mine has a function of merit almost 2300 so really glad I got it when I did .

With ball cap mount and all extras will say almost 2900,but…..,feel was worth and dammit, the stuff is also just fun as hell to work with.

On the American Partisan site are some good reviews from folks who have owned their flir for awhile, might be worth a look see.

You are in hog territory feel is almost a mandatory tool, will pay for itself in food and in tougher times can hunt for others,a real community asset.

What % does Amazon pay you? I’m going to guess you are not getting anywhere near the revenue you could get if everyone ordered through your affiliate link.

Is there a link I could bookmark on my browser to your affiliate link? I think it would help if everyone bookmarked it.

Canadian so I don’t think it works. Does it?

BTW, if someone buys through your link, then returns the item, does Amazon claw back your cut?

If they don’t, I won’t spell it out, but some might want to make some very large purchases and then have buyers remorse.

Question on Amazon purchases: Is your remuneration based on the amount spent or by the number of times someone clicks the AZ button? Example: is there a difference in the amount you get paid if I click on the AZ button once, for a $10 product vs clicking 10 times for $1 each? Sorry if this sounds dumb, but I don’t want to assume.

I fear the VoPo’s have scared off a number of people. F’ them and FJB.
Folks might want to take a look at the American Thinker article that covers the election fraud. The computer guys who do security for sites like Ebay ran state voter registration lists for 15 states and discovered the 15 had from 8% to 15% phony registrations. They also uncover how the fraudulent ballots are “banked” to produce the required numbers on election night at 4AM. They specifically show how the election was stolen from Kari Lake last November. They are also pretty sure this is a Uniparty operation since we also see it being done in Red states like GA and AZ etc.

I don’t automatically believe the gov’t. I try to gather info from multiple sources and make my own decisions. The Vid is 0ne topic and Ukraine is another. Aside from excuses, there is no question that Russia militarily seized the Donbas and Crimea in 2014 and invaded Ukraine in 2022. Using alleged provocations as starting a war is like claiming the US started the war against Japan and Pearl Harbor was only the inevitable response to us cutting of Japan’s access to scraps steel and oil. Before the invasion, Russia had been treating Ukraine as its private drum to beat. The invasion of Ukraine was merely more of the same beat down following the Red terrors and the Holodomor.

Victoria Nuland conspired with people in and outside Ukraine, with Obama’s blessing to overthrow the elected government of Ukraine. When they succeeded, the NeoCons made the constitution of Ukraine null and void. This gave the Crimea, which still had a constitution the legal grounds to leave.. Now the problem you have, obviously, is that you do not accept the result of the referendum of 2014. You, obviously, feel that only the West can conduct free and fair elections. Do you feel it is just fine for Scotland to have a referendum, or Quebec, or Catalonia or the UK with Brexit?

What exactly would the people have to do to hold a referendum that was binding where you would accept the result?

Just curious..

Larry,

Getting jabbed through coercion shows how little you value freedom. Or, maybe what you really meant is you bought the bullshit. Either way, you’ve shown a lack of critical discernment. Sad coming from a rah rah American.

Make no mistake, I’ll be bold enough to state that everyone here loves America. We choose to focus on what’s wrong with our once great country. Do I really have to list all of the biggest problems? We can’t turn any boat around without stating the problems. And there are many.

As far as Russia Russia Russia is concerned, I have 2 questions for you…

1. Why have we hated/feared Russia since forever?
2. Does or does Russia not have security concerns? Would America allow Canada or Mexico to be occupied or even allow ourselves to be broken into many different countries?

Russia, last time I checked, is quite rich in resources. Why is it stated policy that America/NATO wants to destroy Russia? Do you believe in one world government? I’m sure that’s what this is all about. But that’s just(?) me.

I for one hope at least Russia and China can fend of the neocons. A multi polar(?) world is a better one imo. Think how a gun loving society is a polite society. That extends to countries that can defend themselves also.

Feel free to only run RT and Tass, but don’t expect most Americans to tune in here. The comment I originally made was in response to why the site is loosing viewers. Most Americans, at least in Red counties, love their country and a drum-beat of negativism will gradually turn them away. There is a place in out country for journalism that highlights America’s faults, but there should be no surprise if the viewership is small.

I hear you Larry and you are not entirely wrong. But and this is a Kardashian sized but, TPBs only “slant” is towards truth. If the site is to limit and moderate the types of articles it posts in order to draw more of a crowd it would be carrying the same propaganda as any mainstream site. I am quite certain if Jim started towing the line he could make quite a bit of money from having all the “correct” content and big ad revenue. But then he would be part of the problem instead of being many people first steps to opening their eyes.
As to your your thought on Ukraine and you statements about Pearl Harbor, you might want to read a little on the lead up to Pearl Harbor. Admiral Richardson was fired by FDR for refusing to park the Pacific Fleet at Pearl. Foia releases now show we had cracked the Japanese codes in November of that year and it is a near certainty we knew what they were planning. Putting the fleet at Pearl was an inviting target because once we were at war with Japan, Germany would and did declare war on the US. Getting FDR what he needed to get past his promise of not sending our boys away to another foreign war. https://www.independent.org/issues/article.asp?id=408

You have written much truth. However, the possibility that FDR let Pearl Harbor happen doesn’t change two facts. The Japanese made it happen even though we could have struck first. Plus, National Socialism was so evil that it had to be stopped. Waiting for an event that would galvanize the US before it was to late was, if nothing else, was the lesser of two evils. The UK couldn’t have held out forever and without the UK as a base, how could we have rid the world of Hitler. Given Japan’s ideology and behavior, war with them was inevitable. Better before Australia was occupied than after.

The united States, forced Japan to open up trade, I thought.

The uS then proceeded to equip and educate the Japanese in the art of modern war.

Once they knew how to play, the US and Japan played war.

The results?
A lot of valuable real estate was opened up for redevelopment.
And a bunch of poorly educated peasants no longer needed to be fed.
And a bunch of islands and Japan, fell under uS hegemony.

Took TeamuSA less than 30 years to turn Japan into a modern nation, so they could beat the shit out of it.

The point isn’t that Japan made it happen. The point is that FDR literally sacrificed those that died at Pearl so he could have his “Day that would live in infamy” and it was reported to a trusting populace that it was a dirty filthy surprise attack. It whipped up a rightous fury in the US and allowed him to have the war he was committed to having. It was a lie, a psyop and it worked. It worked so well it has been repeated to one degree or another over and over. The point of my comment wasn’t whether Japan did or didn’t instigate war the point was that our government decieved its own people to obtain the goals it wanted. In so doing it subverted the will of the people. Nobody wanted to go back to Eurpoe after ww1, and the families of those that died at Pearl might argue your lesser of two evils statement. Did those men have to die to galvanize the US for a war its people didn’t want? The needs of the many vs the few? That kind of “it’s for the greater good” thinking is by far the greater of two evils. It led to the Gulf of Tonkin, 9/11 and likely soon to be a dirty bomb style explosion in a Ukrainian NPP all to get people on board with wars America didn’t want to be involved all so the people who own everything can play chess with the rest of us.
My Grandmother on my fathers side emigrated to Canada just before Stalin tightened the starvation noose in the Ukraine. I wholly believe in a Ukraine free of foreign control, I also wholeheartedly believe Putin is doing EXACTLY what he should be doing to make Russia and the Russian speaking peoples in donbass and crimea safe. I think the most dire threat the Ukraine faces is Zelensky and Nato and the US. It is a fucked up world we live in where I can watch the slow motion destruction of the people i am descended from and know for a certainty that the people they are dying to are not the real villains in the story.

You have certainly identified an major philosophical dilemma. I would lose my hair if I had to decide whether to sacrifice 3,000+ men to save the world from Germany and Japan, or do nothing and risk waiting until it was to late. But, doesn’t any commander in every war have to decide to sacrifice lives to obtain an objective or save more lives. The same dilemma pertains to our decision to drop nukes on Japan. Sacrifice all those Japanese lives (more or less innocent) in order to spare a huge number of American lives and grieving families . Should, for example, FDR have held a referendum on whether to invade France, with all details included, so the citizenry could have made a knowledgeable decision? As Sherman said “war is all hell.”

In an ideal world, a democracy should never deceive its own people. We don’t have one of those. We have a system where we supposedly choose wise and honorable people to make hard decisions for the greater good of all the citizens of the country. We do this knowing that even the best men make mistakes. We are arguably already to open, which our adversaries are more than happy to exploit.

Would be a worthwhile debate over brewskis.

3,000+ men were sacrificed so that USA could become the world hegemon.
Nukes were dropped on Japan to keep USSR from partitioning Japan and taking all of the Korean peninsula.

FDR did not give two shits about the lives of common folk.. if he did he would have not forced Japan’s hand with sanctions..

The USA! was never a democracy…

And if a wise and honourable person tries to make hard decisions for the greater good of all the citizens they more often than not end up getting shot like

Sacrificing 3,000+ men to “save the world for Germany and japan” you do make good strawmen and it is almost difficult to resist getting off track… almost.
Tough choices are made in war that is true, strategies often treat lives like an asset or resource to be spent for the sake of winning a battle or even losing a battle to win the war.
Now however, if you could tell me when we went to war? Before or after that sacrifice was made? We were not at war . FDR had in fact gotten elected promising to keep us out of that war. He then set out on a mission to deceive his own people and create the situation to justify going to war. The ONLY reason we pushed and poked at Japan through sanctions and embargos was to push them into committing an overt act of war against us because when they went to war against us Germany would honor it’s pact and also declare war on us. We didn’t “save the world” from Japan and Germany. We saved China and Russia first and foremost. Japan was busy with the mainland of Asia and would have been for a long time. Neither I nor you can say for certain what today would look like if Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany had not been destroyed by our entry into WW2, books have been written on the subject and the views vary wildly. Except… this one thing would have been certain; Communist Russia and Communist China would have ceased to exist.
If the cause of stopping Germany and Japan had been so very righteous then using a false flag to get the people on board wouldn’t have been needed.
You ask with quiet sarcasm if we should have held a referendum before invading France with all facts known? No. We should have had a President willing to respect the will of the people that elected him. We should have had a representative government that if it believed an action was needed it would use the truth of it’s arguments to convince the people it was so. Our way of government isn’t supposed to be easy, it’s supposed to be difficult, and contrary to current times the vast majority of our citizens back then were not the stupid watered down halfwits we have turned into. If an action was needed for the good of this country or the good of the world then you convince the citizens you took an oath to represent to take said action. There is a reason Congress was given the exclusive right to declare war. REPRESENTATIVE GOVERNMENT.
You talk of the trade off for Nuking Japan. We nuked Japan as a demonstration to Russia. We could have ended the war with Japan without killing two cities on the mainland. We could have leveled an Island base within sight of the mainland and they would have seen and they would have known. They didn’t surrender because we killed two cities, they surrendered because we could have killed many more. For Japan this realization would have been the same if we nuked a military base or a city. These were not stupid people. The point was to out savage Stalin to let him know we meant business, when instead we should never have let his Russia survive.
If we wanted to truly end a global evil then we would have let Patton do what he asked to do and role across Stalin while we were there. The wrongs of Germany and Japan pale in comparison to the following decades of Communist Russia and China.
Yes these things are always worth arguing over with a good drink and friendly banter. As long as you understand I might destroy all the beer then blame you so I can finish the argument while you are at the store getting more because that’s how false flags work.

I’m picking this particular spot to mention every so often, it’s difficult to tell who someone is responding to. Sometimes it’s easy as in your case right here, because of the offset from the comment above. Yet, there’s one or more above you that line up with several comments above. Maybe, we could start the @ sign for responding, or perhaps I could just mind my own damn business.

James, I think a lot of the folks are using their Samsung or iPhones to view TBP. If they don’t have something like ad-block installed or, are not using Brave as their browser, the ads can be very pervasive and make reading the articles cumbersome. On a PC, not so much.

I have to say TBP was one of the first websites that started we on the journey towards awareness somewhere around ten years ago. It is the longest continuously viewed website on my computer. Ahead of even theconservativetreehouse .com
Your ads don’t bother me, I have a ad blocker and all I see is a small empty box with “native advertising here.” Besides most people have trained themselves to ignore intrusive ads and focus on finding the X to shut it off. If you don’t have an ad blocker you are an expert at “mental blocking.”
Try reaching out to more mainstream sites. You are not some screaming radical, you just say things the money people don’t want said. That said you are a great gateway drug. Addictive enough with interesting and controversial takes on a variety of issues and have enough links that you can start to explore the alt media world that I am still here EVERY day. None of those other alt sites I visited back then are still on my radar -Drudge or Breitbart are prime examples.

You are doing a great job and it is important. It is more probably the powers that be messing with your numbers or just the perception of your numbers. Go see AC at anonymousconservative.com for more info.

I use brave to stop the pop ups and I have gotten so used to not seeing the sidebar that I failed to see the big yellow Amazon square at the top. I will try to remember to use it. We are unfortunately still using Amazon. Even when I try to order something direct from an alternative website it has come in Amazon packaging so I’m wondering if they even use it to ship their stuff.

I’m glad you are doing this because when I have sent articles from TBP to friends I’ve had people complain about the pop ups and tell me it was too annoying to read.

We have moved into our new house on the shore. It is an amazing place. You should drop by sometime. Our front yard are the shores of Northumberland. It is probably why most days I am prone to watch the show from the deck rather than being a bit player in the band on this Titanic.

And speaking of decks, one is being built right now for family and friends to enjoy the view. Two decks in fact with a stone patio to connect, and the best part is this one, unlike that ilfated one, is anchored to land and designed to just see the icebergs.

The reviews are in, so far so good.

Even the Boss approves!

To wit and to end, you know moar than most of struggles by me gone bad. Played out over the years here on this platform were my quaint notions that truth and justice could span, I lived in another world making a bodge of the life I should have had.

My blinders are off when it comes to the government and what they can and can’t do.

I wonder sometimes why I am not worried about what could and should come to pass. Last night a fog rolled in and thru the distance I could hear from a distant shore the foghorn, maybe it was Murray Harbour Prince Edward Island, that wistfully blast. A sunset obscured I went about my day getting things done, forgetting for a moment Russia’s war with the West, all the while knowing what is going to come next.

Working on my deck I felt like John Connor, that character from the movie the Terminator, knowing the threat will return again. It’s the bottom of the sixth, another lead blown, I go to bed.

Here at work this morning, sitting at my desk, I check the ticker for scores from last night’s match and find out that Vladimir Guerrero Jr. stepped to the plate looking for a pitch up in the zone and got a high slider and parked it in a party deck.

A two-run homer, in the eighth inning, and I missed it all again.

comment image

There is a moral to this story I guess. The lesson is one of patience. That it too shall pass and if not there’s faith and my Lord, that in what intervenes, all I can hope for, is to view a few moar sunsets in the West before my ashes join the Northumberland Shore.

Maybe it’s just a special case, but on my laptop with chrome browser TBP consumes a lot of CPU resources, the laptop heats up and after some time the page closes due to lack of memory resources. It’s very discouraging. This happens especially after turning on the page translation option in the google browser. I haven’t noticed such a symptom on any other page, so probably refreshing the page or some part of it in my case has some defect and is constant even after loading and translating the page.
