Wanted to share something humourous, at least to me and the Mrs.
When my mom died, she left not only all of her stuff, but my step dad’s stuff too, the stuff she had hung onto. One of those things was a dictionary from 1913. Inside of it was a letter from the Tennessee Home And Training School For Feeble-Minded Persons in Donelson, Tennessee. I had seen this letter from a former employee there before, but had forgotten about it. Now we’re in the era of internet where you can find anything, even titties and beer. So I typed that entire heading into a search engine and it came out that the name of this institution was changed to Clover Bottom Developmental Center. Of course that’s now defunct too, but they went to the trouble to abbreviate it. You can see what they abbreviation is: CBDC= Central Bank Digital Currency. I wonder if that’s why that school/home is toast. Someone needed the acronym.
