I’m an old headbanger too. Worked as an electrician for a little while as well. Still listen to all the 80’s headbangers. I found the Metallica Kill ‘Em All record 1 month before they released Ride the Lightning. Saw them on that tour opening for Ozzy. There is just nothing like that old metal out there today. I really liked Dave Mustaine with Metallica but I sure am glad he left those assholes and started Megadeth. CPS won’t be any better for the kids in most of the areas that have this problem. It is sad. I live in a rural area. I have an outside sales type job. I can pretty much live anywhere in the USA. There are so many new homes going up in my area(we are talking on acres of land so it’s not bad). It is almost all good people trying to get out of the big city crap. The scamdemic made this happen for many of the people moving out here and all other rural areas. Many many jobs that were on-site in the office only are now work from home. The big cities will slowly turn to total shit as the good people keep leaving.
In some countries, the law is about to remove the parent who prevents their children going to this shit.

My husband and I went through the McDonald’s driveway window and I gave the cashier a $5 bill.
Our total was $4.25, so I also handed her 25c.
She said, ‘you gave me too much money.’
I said, ‘Yes I know, but this way you can just give me a dollar back.’
She sighed and went to get the manager who asked me to repeat my request.
I did so, and he handed me back the 25c, and said ‘We’re sorry but we don’t do that kind of thing.’
The cashier then proceeded to give me back 75 cents in change.

The repairman told us that one of our problems was that we did not have a ‘large’ enough motor on the opener.
I thought for a minute, and said that we had the largest one made at that time, a 1/2 horsepower.
He shook his head and said, ‘You need a 1/4 horsepower.’
I responded that 1/2 was larger than 1/4 and he said, ‘NOOO, it’s not. Four is larger than two.’

We recently had a new neighbor call the local city council office to request the removal of the DEER CROSSING sign on our road.

Passenger asks what are the requirements for transporting an animal (in those days only in cargo). Answer was that the animal has to be able to stand, sit and lie down in the kennel … and the passenger said that the flight was the next day and she wasn’t sure she could train it in that time.
A passenger asked how long the flight was from NYC to LAX … she said the flight departed NYC at 1000 and got to LAX at Noon … The passenger asked how it could fly cross country in just 2 hours — had never heard of time zones.
As a manager, she had a woman reservations agent that was having sex with not only most of the (straight) guys in the office … but throughout the office building — except for one of the straight guys in the office. He was miffed and actually tried to file a union grievance because his co-worker wouldn’t have sex with him.
A (very obviously black) soldier called asking about flights to maconga … and my wife said she’d never heard of maconga. She looked through tariff books and atlases and every piece of information they had — all to no avail. She finally asked the guy to read from his ticket … he was going to Macon, GA.
When they came out with hamburgers with one-third pound patties, they quickly flopped because many people thought the quarter pounder was bigger.
Grocery store. Paid for groceries with one of them a 2$ bill. Cashier called the Manager and told him I was trying to pay with fake money. Manager and I just exchanged looks.
Cashier was right. But, then, the same could be said of the $1, the $5, $10, $20, $5o and $100.
That’s not as bad as what happens at the closest mickey d’s to me(not close). Went to the drive thru, paid for a $4.47 order with a twenty and was given change for 10 bucks. I said I gave you a twenty and the black girl waved a 10 saying this is what you gave me. Not sure if I made that mistake or not, moved on to the next window to get my food. About a month later, went back to the same mickey d’s( i do like a big mac, which is no longer $4.47). I double checked I was giving a 20 and sure enough, a different black girl gave me back change for a 10. Nothing you can do about it. I review on google maps most of the places I eat at( I travel a lot and read the reviews from others and leave reviews for others). Left a review saying this place steals from you and google deleted it for them.
Next time confirm with the cashier what denomination the bill is, i.e., “This is a $20 bill, do you agree?”, BEFORE handing it to them.
These people don’t care. Nothing will happen to them.
I do not visit that location anymore. The last storm that came through destroyed their sign and broke 2 windows. No damage at all to any other buildings or signs around them. I now keep a bunch of change and bills in the truck console to pay exact change in any drive-thru. If I can’t pay exact, I use my debit card.

Richard Feynman said, “If you think you understand quantum mechanics, then you don’t.” And to this day, that is still a fact. My Dad has a PHD in physics from Texas Tech and argues with me that this is not true. There is still no good explanation of the results of the double slit experiment. We have this little quantum cookbook that we think we understand and led to all our modern tech. The fact is, we don’t have a clue.
It hurts my brain to think about it. We have had no real huge breakthroughs in physics since Einstein explained how all observers measure the same speed of light no matter what velocity the observer has. And that turned out to be a very simple and now completely proven explanation. There are more simple explanations for this other stuff we cant figure out.
